Abstract

Description
本发明涉及活动的踏雪靴(snowboard boot)衬里及其制造方法。更具体地,本发明涉及由乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯(“EVA”)制成的、带有气囊的独特活动的踏雪靴衬里及其制造方法。
尽管活动衬里具有许多优点,但与活动衬里有关的一个主要缺点是:穿着带有活动衬里的踏雪靴的运动员的脚易于在靴子中滑动和移动。这种滑动可能是由运动员的脚在衬里中移动、衬里在外部靴子中移动、或者这两种现象的组合导致的。这种滑动最常见的结果是运动员的脚后跟从靴子的鞋跟座提起。这种滑动和提起使得运动员更难控制踏雪靴,导致水疱并增加了对运动员造成更严重伤害的可能性。
这种滑动问题已经出现在滑雪靴中。在滑雪靴领域已提出多种对这个问题的解决方案,包括对使用设置在运动员的脚和靴子外部之间的不同位置的气囊的主题的几种变化。为了不同用途,气囊也使用在其它类型的鞋类中。
本发明尤其涉及由EVA制成的踏雪靴衬里,它具有包括在其中的可充气气囊,本发明还涉及这种衬里的批量生产。
Holstine的美国专利No.5,692,321公开了诸如踏雪靴的运动靴,它具有一个气囊系统,该系统包括设置在穿用者的脚和靴子外部之间相互连通的上下气囊。上下气囊系统是一个封闭的系统。这样,气囊系统的总充气水平是固定的并且不易调节。公开在Holstine的美国专利中的该系统设计成在向下的力压缩下气囊导致上气囊相应充气时给予穿用者的脚踝增大的支持力。Holstine强调在冲击力或作用力被从靴子上去除时,所公开的靴子使得运动员的脚的移动具有增大的灵活性和范围。
Potter等的美国专利No.5,765,298公开了在脚踝镶边部位具有可充气气囊的运动鞋。该气囊具有包括在其中的结合线或其它方式以防止在气囊的中间和侧向部分中形成加压气体的竖直柱。这使得穿用者的脚踝具有增大的灵活性和移动性。Potter等没有公开他们的产品如何被制造。
Nishimura的美国专利No.3,758,964和3,758,964公开了包括有可充气气囊的运动靴。Nishimura的美国专利公开的内容主要集中在包括有可充气气囊的滑雪靴。Nishimura的美国专利没有公开用于制造其产品的方法。Nishimura的美国专利也没有公开使用EVA作为衬里材料。
没有一个现有技术已经公开由EVA制成的踏雪靴衬里,它具有包括在其中的可充气气囊,以及这种衬里的批量生产。

由EVA制造现有的踏雪靴衬里涉及的步骤如下:
1、必须从一个EVA平片材上剪裁衬里图样;
2、剪裁的EVA随后被折叠和缝合在一起以近似最终衬里的形状;
3、缝合的EVA被安放在一个鞋楦上;
4、在鞋楦上的缝合EVA被加热,以使EVA模制成它的最终形状;
5、被加热的EVA被模制成它的最终形状。
上述方法是本领域的人员所公知的。在步骤4中用于加热EVA的时间长度和温度对于由EVA制造踏雪靴衬里领域的熟练技术人员而言是公知的。但是,对于说明性的示例,加热可以在温度为100℃的隧道式烤炉中完成。在隧道式烤炉中停留的总时间约为五分钟。在步骤5中用于实现将EVA模制成它的最终形状的精确方法对于由EVA制造踏雪靴衬里领域的熟练技术人员而言是公知的。但是,对于说明性的示例,可以使用氯丁橡胶保护套。
鞋子中的气囊通常是这样制成:将一片合适材料放置在第二片合适材料上方,将该材料剪切成合适的图样并将这些材料片固定在一起,以形成气囊边界和任何所需的内部轮廓,诸如用于容纳踝骨的不充气空间。通常是在需要接缝的位置将两个材料片熔化在一起而使两个材料片结合在一起。
本发明的方法是在EVA被缝合和模制之前使气囊被缝合在EVA衬里中。这使得在衬里还是EVA平片材时缝合气囊。一旦EVA已经被折叠、缝合、加热和模制后,通过机械缝合安装气囊如果不是不可能的,也是十分困难的。在本申请描述的方法发明之前,不可能在加热和模制EVA之前安装一个由鞋类领域所公知的典型材料制成的气囊。这是因为当气囊随着EVA经过加热和模制过程时构成气囊的两片材料将熔化在一起。因此,气囊将不能被充气并且是无用的。这使得批量生产带有可充气气囊的EVA踏雪靴衬里是不可能的。
本发明的方法通过在加热和模制EVA衬里之前并在密封气囊接缝和部分地给气囊充气之前在构成气囊的两个片材之间引入一种物质来解决该问题。这种物质的引入以及气囊的部分充气使构成气囊的两片材料在加热和模制EVA过程中保持分离。此外,所公开的气囊设计和安装使得运动员的脚在衬里中的滑动量最小以及使运动员的脚后跟从靴子的鞋跟座提起量最小。
图1是带有气囊组件的缝合和模制衬里的侧视图,气囊组件位于气囊将被安装在根据本发明原理的衬里中的近似方位的衬里上方;

以下将描述本发明的优选实施例。该描述是用于说明本发明的一般原理,而不应作为对本发明的限制。
将参照图1、2和3描述本发明的优选实施例。气囊10的优选实施例显示在图2中。用于制造气囊的最优选材料是热塑性聚氨酯(“TPU”)。气囊由沿着周边通过接缝12结合在一起的前后两片TPU片组成。周边接缝12防止空气从两片TPU片中泄出并使气囊被充气。
气囊由标号为A、B和C的三个不同部分组成。当安装时,部分A覆盖从脚的上部周围延伸到内侧踝骨的内侧脚背部分。周边接缝轮廓形成可防止气囊覆盖内侧踝骨的气囊部位充气。这样,当气囊被充气时,内侧踝骨容放在未充气区域14中。部分B从跟腱部分周围的内侧踝骨延伸到侧向踝骨。在气囊的周边上设置一个凹口部分16,以容纳穿用者在跟腱以下的脚后跟部分。周边接缝限定了一个第二不充气部分18以容纳侧向踝骨。部分C从侧向踝骨向上延伸以覆盖穿用者脚背的侧向部分。
图1显示了位于缝合和模制衬里30上方近似气囊优选被安装的方位上的气囊10。在图1中显示了部分A、B和C。图3显示了安装在衬里30中的气囊10的剖视图。
参照图2,环形接缝20位于整个气囊的部分A和C上。这些环形接缝20在气囊被充气时控制气囊的厚度。环形接缝20的增大密集度导致一个更薄的气囊。在部分B上没有环形接缝。这使得在部分B上可以获得最大厚度,这导致穿用者的脚后跟稳固地位于靴子的鞋跟座中并使脚后跟的滑动和提起量最小。
一个气泵和气体释放阀组件22通过管24安装到气囊10上。管24由热塑性橡胶制成。优选地,管24通过热塑性模制固定到气囊上。气泵和气体释放阀组件以及管不是本发明的关键所在,只要这些元件在用于使EVA衬里模制所必须的温度下不熔化,可以使用任何合适的商业可得的气泵、管和气体释放阀。
用于制造本发明的优选方法如下:
1、用一适当的物质除去第一片气囊材料表面上的灰尘;
2、将第二个片放置在第一片上,从而使除尘物质位于第一和第二片之间;
3、剪裁出气囊的适当形状;
4、施加足够的热量和压力以在两个片将要结合在一起的位置熔化两个片;
5、从一个EVA片材上剪裁出衬里的合适形状;
6、在适当位置将气囊安装到EVA上;
7、折叠和缝合EVA;
8、给气囊少量充气;
9、将EVA和气囊组件安放在一个鞋楦上;
10、适当地加热EVA和气囊组件;以及
11、将EVA模制成其最终形状。
如果必要,管、气泵和气体释放阀可以加入组件中以有助于气囊的充气和放气。优选地是在步骤4中加热气囊的不同部分之前插入这些元件。这将使管、气泵和/或气体释放阀被热封在气囊中并产生比诸如粘接的替代安装方法更强的结合。在步骤8中,气囊应被充足地充气以使两个片保持分离,但不是如此多地充气,以致在气囊中的气体由于加热膨胀时气囊爆裂。
在步骤1中用于除去第一片气囊材料灰尘的最优选物质是一种韩国产的物质。本发明人所知的最接近的英文翻译是“粉末状油白垩(poweredoil chalk)”。该物质的韩国单词按照语音以英文拼写为:“so-p-hil galu”。该物质可以从韩国的Dae Ho Commercial Co.,Ltd.(#93 Buam,1-Dong,JinGu,Pusan,Korea)获得。该物质韩文为:“粉末状油白垩”。对于本发明,该物质应称作“粉末状油白垩”。该物质由约90%的甜淀粉、9%的润滑剂和1%的硬脂酸盐。
Claims (19)
1、一种制造鞋子或靴子的可充气衬里的方法,所述方法包括步骤:
提供一个包括第一片材料和第二片材料的气囊组件,其中,每片的材料可以相互热结合在一起;
给第一和第二片施加热量和压力,以便将第一和第二片选定的区域熔化在一起;
提供一个由第三片材料组成的衬里组件,所述第三片材料是可加热模制材料;
将第三片材料固定到气囊组件上;
接着加热衬里组件和气囊组件,以便将第三片材料模制成所需形状。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括步骤:
在加热第三片之前,给气囊组件充气。
3、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括步骤:
在给第一和第二片施加热量和压力之前,在第一片材料和第二片材料之间施加一种粉末。
4、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括步骤:

在加热第三片的步骤之前,将第一片和第二片剪裁成气囊组件的所需形状,以及将第三片剪裁成衬里组件所需的形状。

提供以由热塑性聚氨酯组成的片的形式的第一和第二片;
在给第一和第二片施加热量和压力之前,在第一片材料和第二片材料之间施加一种粉末,所述粉末包括淀粉和润滑剂;
提供以由乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯组成的片的形式的第三片;
在加热第三片之前,给气囊组件充气;以及
在加热第三片的步骤之前,将第一片和第二片剪裁成气囊组件的所需形状,以及将第三片剪裁成衬里组件所需的形状。

19、一种制造带有可充气气囊的踏雪靴衬里的方法,包括如下步骤:
施加一种粉末状油白垩到第一片气囊材料的表面上;
将第二片气囊材料放置在第一片的上面,从而使粉末状油白垩位于第一和第二片之间;
从两片气囊材料上剪裁出气囊的形状;
在两片气囊材料将要结合到一起的位置形成接缝;
从一个EVA片材上剪裁出衬里的形状;
在合适位置将气囊安装到EVA上;
折叠和缝合EVA;
给气囊少量充气;
将EVA以及第一和第二片安放在一个鞋楦上;
适当加热EVA以及第一和第二片;以及
将EVA模制成与踏雪靴相对应的最终形状。
