Abstract
本发明涉及一种采用褐煤酸酯、酰胺或盐作为颜料分散剂的有色粉末状涂料的制造工艺及相应的粉末状涂料。
Description
本发明涉及一种用于制造有色粉末状涂料的改进工艺,其使用一种颜料分散改进剂。
众所周知,粉末状涂料的制备是通过同旋双螺杆挤出机或单螺杆挤出机挤出得到。粉末状涂料由以下物质组成:-粘合剂,例如以环氧化物、三异氰脲酸三脱水甘油酯、β-羟烷基
胺或封端异氰酸酯(脱二脲二酮)交联的聚酯树脂;-颜料和填料,只要不是清漆。颜料必需具有适当高的热稳定性。
例如酞菁、二氢喹吖啶二酮、偶氮颜料、苝和周酮(perinone)
颜料、苯并咪唑酮颜料、蒽醌颜料、异二氢吲哚酮和异二氢吲哚
颜料、蒽垛蒽酮颜料、二噁嗪颜料、喹诺邻苯二甲酮颜料、二酮
吡咯并吡咯颜料;-添加剂,如脱挥发剂、消光剂、抗氧化剂、摩擦添加剂、调平剂、
用于提高耐划痕的蜡类。
为了制备粉末状涂料,首先所有的成分在一台混合机中预混合,然后在一台挤出机或捏合机中于80~130℃均化,最后通过研磨和筛分达到最终粒径。在颜料体系的制备过程中,特别重要的是将有色聚集体打碎成细粉状并使有色聚集体均匀分散以达到最佳的色强度。目前通过用挤出机或捏合机的螺杆结构引入机械能即能达到此目的,而无须使用分散助剂。
本发明的目的是通过使用一种合适的分散剂以改善颜料在粉末状涂料中的分散性。以相对色强度作为颜料分散性改善程度的度量。
因此本发明提供了一种用于制备有色粉末状涂料的工艺,其包含向粉末状涂料中混入一种褐煤酸衍生物作为分散剂。
本发明进一步提供了褐煤酸衍生物在制备粉末状涂料的颜料中作为分散剂的用途。
本发明还提供了包含有颜料与褐煤酸衍生物的粉末状涂料。
使用褐煤酸衍生物作为粉末状涂料的颜料分散剂。所谓褐煤酸就是含有碳链长度为22~36的羧酸混合物,其滴落点一般为75~110℃(按照DGF-M-Ⅲ3(75)测定),酸值从10到160mg KOH/g(按照DGF-M-Ⅳ2(57)测定),其皂化值60~180mg KOH/g(按照DGF-M-Ⅳ2(57)测定),密度为0.99~1.03g/cm3。
适当的褐煤酸衍生物优选其酯、酰胺和盐。
在本发明的一个优选实施方案中,褐煤酸衍生物是褐煤酸与含有1~4个OH官能团和2~20个碳原子醇的酯。当所述的醇为具有2~4个OH基的多元醇时,特别优选2~8个碳原子。所述的多元醇特别是丙三醇,乙二醇或1,3-丁二醇。当所述的醇是一元醇时,碳原子数特别优选8~14。
在本发明的进一步优选实施方案中,褐煤酸衍生物是褐煤酸与2~18、特别是2~8个碳原子一元胺或二元胺的酰胺。特别优选的二胺为乙二胺。
在本发明的又一个优选实施方案中,褐煤酸衍生物是褐煤酸与碱金属或碱土金属的盐。
褐煤酸衍生物的制备一般是,粗褐煤蜡在经过氧化漂白后,所得到的酸蜡与醇或酰胺反应并且/或者以碱金属或碱土金属氢氧化物进行水解。这类蜡多年来在市面上有售。例如Licowax S(酸蜡),LicowaxE(酯蜡),Licowax OP(部分水解酯蜡)。使用形式优选粒径小于500μm的粉末或微粉末。粒径用筛析或例如Malvern公司的激光衍射仪测定。基于总配方,使用量一般为0.1~10wt%,优选0.5~5.0重量份。
其它蜡,如极性或非极性烃蜡,或植物蜡,如巴西棕榈蜡,对颜料的分散性影响较小,它们可作为助分散剂来使用。

-在一台APV Baker双螺杆实验室挤出机中于110℃挤出
-在一台Retsch棒磨机中粉碎
-筛分至粒径小于125μm
黏合剂的组成:
90.13%Alftalat AN 989(聚酯树脂,Vianova Resins)
4.74%Primid XL 552(β-羟基烷基胺,EMS Chemie)
4.37%dditol XL 9824(调平剂,Vianova Resins)
0.29%安息香
0.47%Hostanox M 101(抗氧化剂,Clariant GmbH)
Ceridust 5551的特性:
滴落点:100℃
酸值:15mg KOH/g
密度(20℃):1.00g/cm3
平均粒径:9μm
用Wagner静电喷涂器将粉末喷涂在金属基体上,180℃焙烧10分钟。然后在Minolta公司的CM 3600d分光光度计上按照DIN55986测定涂层的色强度。为了计算相对色强度,相对空白样进行测定(无分散剂,空白样=100%)。高于100的数字表明较高的色强度,低于100表明比空白样的色强度低。

1.一种用于制备有色粉末状涂料的工艺,其包含向粉末状涂料中混入一种褐煤酸衍生物作为分散剂。
2.权利要求1中的工艺,其中所用的褐煤酸衍生物为褐煤酸的酯、酰胺或盐。
3.褐煤酸衍生物作为颜料分散剂在粉末状涂料制备中的用途。
4.一种粉末状涂料,包含黏合剂、颜料、添加剂和褐煤酸衍生物。
