技术领域
本发明涉及吸尘器。本发明尤其涉及安装了旋风分离装置的吸尘器。
背景技术
大约在过去十多年,使用旋风分离装置从吸尘器的气流中分离颗粒的应用得到发展并已推向市场。US 3,425,192、US 4,373,228和EP 0042,723以及其它专利文献中使用吸尘器的旋风分离装置进行了详细的叙述。从这些文献和其他现有技术文献中可以看到,提供两个串联的旋风分离装置,以使空气流相继通过至少两个旋风分离器的方法是已知的。这可使在第一个旋风分离器中从空气流中分离出较大的污垢和碎片,使第二个旋风分离器在优化的条件下运行,并使其有效的方式有效地除去细微颗粒。当处理其中夹带着颗粒尺寸分布很宽的各种物质的空气流时,正如在吸尘器的情况下,这样的布置是有效的。
还提出过一些排列方式,在这些排列方式中,通过多个并联排列的下游旋风分离器代替所述下游旋风分离器。在US 3,425,192和JP52-14,775中就显示了这样的实施例。在这样两种排列方式中,下游的多个旋风分离器装在一个壳体中,此壳体将旋风分离器包围,使得这些旋风分离器所占据的体积没有实现最小化。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的就是提供一种占有比较小容积的旋风分离装置。本发明的另一个目的是提供一种适合于在吸尘器中使用并能保证吸尘器的尺寸与先有技术相比尽可能小的旋风分离装置。本发明还有一个目的是提供一种能够减轻先有技术缺点的旋风分离装置。
本发明提供一种吸尘器,该吸尘器具有外表面并安装了旋风分离装置,该旋风分离装置包括多个彼此并联排列的旋风分离器,本发明的特征在于,每个旋风分离器都具有带外壁的锥体,其特征还在于,每个外壁的至少一部分形成吸尘器外表面的一部分。
把旋风分离器锥体的至少一部分外壁和吸尘器的外表面合为一体就使得吸尘器的总体积保持最小。这样就需要另外再提供盖子而仅为了使吸尘器具有光滑和流线型的外表面。再有,这样的视觉效果使消费者能够看到旋风分离装置的功能部件的形状,这使消费者感到高兴并因此是希望的。通过将旋风分离器以相同角度排列在旋风分离装置轴线的四周和/或使每个旋风分离器的轴线都向着旋风分离装置的轴线倾斜,使上述效果得到加强。
在一个优选的实施方案中,该旋风分离装置包括至少另外一个与多个旋风分离器并联的旋风分离器,这多个旋风分离器和另外一个旋风分离器都具有带外壁的锥体,而这些外壁不构成吸尘器外表面的一部分。因此,彼此并联排列的多个旋风分离器的数目不受该吸尘器物理限制的限制。不构成吸尘器外表面的另外一些旋风分离器可以放置在构成吸尘器外表面的旋风分离器环的内部。

具体实施方式
图1a和1b显示出按照本发明的家用吸尘器10。此吸尘器10包括一个直立机体12,在其底部装有电机壳14。清洁头16以铰接方式(articulated fashion)安装在电机壳14上。在清洁头16上提供吸入口18,并且车轮20可转动地安装在电机壳14上,以使吸尘器10能够在待清洁的表面上移动。
旋风分离装置100安装在电机壳14上面的直立机体12。此旋风分离装置100坐落在由过滤器盖子22形成的通常是水平的表面上。过滤器盖子22位于电机壳14的上面,并且给电机之后的过滤器(未显示)提供一个盖子。旋风分离装置100还借助于位于旋风分离装置100顶部的卡头24固定。直立机体12合并连接着用来把肮脏的空气送入旋风分离装置100的入口上游管道(未显示)和把清洁后的空气从旋风分离装置100中排出的下游导管26。
直立机体12还合并连接着一个软管和杆的组合件28,该组合件可以保持如图所示的形状,以作为使吸尘器10在待清洁的表面是行走用的手柄。另外,软管和杆组合件28也可以释放开,以使杆的末端28a用来与地板洁具(未显示)一起实施清洁的功能,比如清扫楼梯、室内装饰等。软管和杆组合件28的结构和操作对本发明并非是关键的,在此不再进一步说明。在图1a和1b中表示的软管和杆组合件28的一般结构和操作与在美国专利Re 32257中叙述的相似,此专利在此引做参考。还有几种工具和附件30a、30b和30c都可拆卸地安装在直立机体12上,以作为使用时的备用目的。
以上说明的吸尘器10的精确细节不是本发明的关键。本发明涉及构成吸尘器10一部分的旋风分离装置100的细节。为了操作此旋风分离装置100,启动位于电机壳14中的电机,以使得经过吸入口18或经过软管和杆组合件28的末端28a把空气吸入吸尘器中。这样的脏空气(即在其中夹带有污物和灰尘的空气)经过上游管道通过旋风分离装置100。在空气通过旋风分离装置以后,它被从旋风分离装置100送出,并且经过下游管道26沿直立机体送入到电机壳14。此清洁的空气在通过过滤器盖子22从吸尘器10排出之前,用于冷却坐落在电机壳14中的电机。
吸尘器10的操作原理在先有技术中是已知的。本发明涉及到在图2a、2b和2c中说明的与吸尘器10呈分离状态的旋风分离装置100。
在图2中说明的旋风分离装置100包括上游旋风分离单元101和下游旋风分离单元103,前者由单个的上游旋风分离器102组成,后者由多个下游旋风分离器104组成。上游旋风分离器102主要由具有封闭底部108的圆柱形箱体106组成。圆柱形箱体的开口上端110紧挨着环形的上配件112,此上配件(moulding)就确定了上游旋风分离器102的上端。在圆柱形箱体106内提供一个入口114,使得脏空气能够被引入到上游旋风分离器102的内部。此入口的形状、位置和结构使得与上游管道相连通,此管道把载有污物的空气从清洁头送到旋风分离装置100中。在圆柱形箱体106和上配件112上分别提供手柄116和搭扣118,以提供的需要把圆柱形箱体106清空时用于将圆柱形箱体106从上配件112脱离的机构。如果需要,在圆柱形箱体106和上配件112之间可提供密封(未显示)。
圆柱形箱体的底部108可以由铰链连接在圆柱形箱体的其余部分上,以提供在必要时清空圆柱形箱体106内部的另一个方式。在本文中说明的实施方案将包括一个机构,其使得允许底部108通过铰接而打开以使其排空,但这种机构的细节则形成了共同申请的主题,在此不再进一步叙述。
在下游旋风分离单元103中提供7个相同的下游旋风分离器104。这些下游旋风分离器104以相等的角度排列在下游旋风分离单元103的中心纵轴150的周围,此纵轴与上游旋风分离单元101的纵轴是重合的。图2c就说明了这样的排列。每个下游旋风分离器104都具有截头圆锥(frusto-conical)的形状,其较大的一端位于最低处,而较小的一端位于最高处。每一个下游旋风分离器104都具有纵轴148(见图3b),此轴线稍倾斜于下游旋风分离单元103的纵轴150。在下面将要更详细地叙述此特征。并且,每个下游旋风分离器104最下端的最侧的一点,放射状地从下游旋风分离单元103的纵轴150进一步延伸到圆柱形箱体106壁的外边。下游旋风分离器104的最上端指向收集配件120的内侧,配件120从下游旋风分离器104的表面向上延伸。收集配件120支持着手柄122,借助于此手柄可以使整个旋风分离装置100移动。在手柄122上提供一个搭扣124,用于把旋风分离装置100固定在直立机体12的上端。在上配件112上提供一个出口126,用来把清洁空气导出旋风分离装置100。出口126的排列和结构使其与下游导管26协同动作,用于清洁空气带到电机壳14中。
正如在图4a和4b中所看到的,每个旋风分离器104具有一个截头圆锥形的锥体104a。每个旋风分离器104具有外壁104b。外壁104b的第一部分104c位于收集配件120的内侧,同时其余部分104d位于收集配件120的外侧。如在图1a和图1b中清楚看到的,位于收集配件120外侧的每个外壁104b那部分104d就构成吸尘器外表面的一部分。
收集配件120还带有一个驱动杆128,其设计用于驱动开启圆柱形箱体106的底部108以用于如上所述排空目的的机构。
现在参照图3b叙述旋风分离装置100的内部特征。图3a对应于图2a,表示截取图3b剖面的线III-III。
上游旋风分离器102的内部特征包括沿其整个长度的内壁132。如在下面将要叙述的,内壁132所确定的内部空间连通着收集配件120的内部。内壁132的目的是确定微细粉尘的收集空间134。位于内壁132内侧和收集空间134中的组件,当驱动杠杆128被驱动时,可以打开底部108。这些组件的详细细节和操作不是本发明的关键,在此不再进一步叙述。
安装在内壁132外边的是4个等间隔的挡板或肋片136,它们从内壁132沿着圆柱形箱体106放射状地向外延伸。这些挡板136有助于大的污物和灰尘颗粒沉降在内壁132和靠近底部108的圆柱形箱体106之间所确定的收集空间138中。在WO 00/04816中更详细地叙述了这些挡板136的特征。
在上游旋风分离器102的上部内位于内壁132外边的是遮挡板140。此遮挡板从挡板136向上伸出,并且与内壁132一起确定了空气通道142。遮挡板140有一个打孔的部分144,其使空气从上游旋风分离器102进入空气通道142中。空气通道142连通着每个下游旋风分离器104的入口146。每个入口146排成涡形,以迫使进入每个下游旋风分离器104的空气在各个下游旋风分离器104中都沿着螺旋形的路径通过。
如上所述,每个下游旋风分离器104的纵轴148都是相对于下游旋风分离单元103的纵轴150倾斜。每个下游旋风分离器104的上端都比其下端更靠近纵轴150。在此实施方案中相对于轴148的倾角基本上为7.5°。
如上所述,下游旋风分离器104的上端指向收集配件120的内侧。收集配件120的内部确定了一个室152,下游旋风分离器104的上端与此室连通。在下游旋风分离器之间,收集配件120和下游旋风分离器104的表面一起确定一个轴向伸展通道154,它与内壁132所确定的收集空间134相连通。这样,从下游旋风分离器104较小一端排出的污物和灰尘就能够经过通道154从室152进入收集空间134中。
每个下游旋风分离器104都具有一个涡流探测器的空气出口156。按照此标准,每个涡流探测器156都位于各个下游旋风分离器104的最低端的中心。在此实施例中,中心体158位于每个涡流探测器中。每个涡流探测器连通着一个环形室160,它进一步连通着出口126(见图2c)。
图4a、4b和4c详细说明了下游旋风分离器104的结构。尤其,这有助于说明通道154的结构。图4b还有助于说明这样一个事实,即最接近下游旋风分离器单元103纵轴的各下游旋风分离器104的边基本上与该轴平行。
图4a、4b和4c还说明这样一个事实,即7个下游旋风分离器104中的每一个都与其余6个旋风分离器104一体的铸造成一个部件。在图4a、4b和4c中说明的配件可以制成而且已经被制成一个单一部件,这样从制造和组装的观点其具有优点。特别是制造这种作为单一部件的结构的成本要比个别制造旋风分离器再将它们组装成所需的结构的成本更加便宜。再有,把旋风分离器制造为一个单一单元消除了在组装工序中存在的误差风险。如果分别制造各个旋风分离器,然后再将它们组装起来,系统中发生的压力不均的风险将会增加,这将影响到旋风分离器组装件整体的分离性能。
如上所述的设备的操作模式如下。脏空气(其中夹带了污物和灰尘的空气)经过入口114进入旋风分离装置100。入口114的结构基本上与圆柱形箱体106的壁相切,这就使进入的空气沿着螺旋形的路径在圆柱形箱体106的内部通行。如众所周知地借助于作用在颗粒上的离心力的作用,较大的污物和灰尘颗粒,与软毛和其他大碎片一起沉积在靠近底部108的收集空间138中。部分经过清洁的空气从底部108向内和向上,经过遮挡板140的打孔部分144排出上游旋风分离器102。然后此部分清洁的空气沿着空气通道142行进,在此它们被分成7部分。每一部分经过各自的入口146进入一个下游旋风分离器104中。如在上面所提到的,每个入口146都是涡形的入口,其迫使进入的空气在下游旋风分离器中沿着螺旋形的路径。下游旋风分离器104具有锥形的形状,进一步生成下游旋风分离器104中很强的旋风分离,以使得从主空气流中分离出很细的污物和灰尘颗粒。污物和灰尘颗粒从下游旋风分离器104的最上端排出,同时清洁的空气顺着其轴线148返到下游旋风分离器104的下端,并且经过涡流探测器156排出。清洁空气从涡流探测器156进入环形室162,并从此到达出口126。其间,在下游旋风分离器104中已被分离的污物和灰尘从室152中通过通道154落入收集空间134中。
当希望排空旋风分离装置100时,可以通过铰接的方式将底部108和圆柱形箱体106的侧壁分开,这样收集在收集空间134和138的污物和碎片就落到适当的容器中。正如在前面所解释的,排空机构的详细操作不构成本发明的一部分,在此不再进一步叙述。
本发明不限于如上所述的实施方案的精确细节。必须强调指出,在旋风分离装置外面的吸尘器的特征对本发明不是关键的。应该理解到,对于该设备的放置,并没有特殊的需要一定使旋风分离单元的轴是垂直的,该轴实际上可以对垂直线有一个倾角,如果希望甚至可以是水平的。离心分离受重力的影响不大这个事实,使得只要旋风分离单元排列得可收集碎片而不影响进行分离所必需的空气流路径,就能够做到这一点。在上面详细叙述的实施方案的另一个供选择方案中,上面所说明的下游旋风分离器可以如此排列,使得其各个轴彼此平行地排列,而不是如附图中所示的沿下游旋风分离单元的轴倾斜。再有,如在上面已经提到的,可以提供另外一个与如上所述的实施方案中所说明的相并联的下游旋风分离器。通过在旋风分离装置轴线的周围增加等角间隔的旋风分离器的数目、通过在已经提供的旋风分离器形成的环内再添加另外的旋风分离器,或者将这二者相结合就能够做到这一点。对于专业的读者来说,其他的变化和改进都是显而易见的。
Claims (12)
1.一吸尘器,其具有外表面并设有包括多个彼此并联排列的旋风分离器的旋风分离装置,其特征在于:每个旋风分离器都具有一个锥形体,该锥形体具有外壁,每个外壁中的至少一个部分形成该吸尘器的部分外表面。
2.如权利要求1的吸尘器,其中该多个旋风分离器等角度地排列在该旋风分离装置轴线的周围。
3.如权利要求2的吸尘器,其中每个旋风分离器具有向着旋风分离装置的轴线倾斜的轴线。
4.如权利要求1~3中任何一项的吸尘器,其中该旋风分离装置包括至少另一个与所述多个旋风分离器并联排列的旋风分离器,该至少另一个与所述多个旋风分离器并联排列的旋风分离器具有一个有外壁的锥形体,该外壁不形成吸尘器外表面的一部分。
