Abstract
转换器被用于将数字式信号转换为模拟信号或将模拟信号转换为数字式信号。在一个音频重放系统中,一个过采样转换器和一个数字式向上采样的低通滤波器被结合在一起使用,所述低通滤波器可以是模拟时间连续或时间离散低通滤波器,所述低通滤波器被用于除去输出信号中残余的高频内容。为了使所获得的输出信号的频带尽可能地宽,本发明提供一种具有可变比率的不同采样频率的转换器。
Description
本发明涉及一种如权利要求1前序部分所述的转换器。
包含一个D/A转换器和一个低通滤波器的转换器在本领域是众所周知的。例如与一个数字式向上采样的低通滤波器相结合,过采样转换器被用于音频重放系统,所述低通滤波器可以是模拟时间连续或时间离散低通滤波器,该低通滤波器被用于除去输出信号中残余的高频内容。转换器输入数据的采样频率和时间离散低通滤波器的采样频率通常相同或彼此之间具有一个固定的比率。
在使用增量总和类型的噪音整形转换器的系统中,初始信号的频带宽度可以非常高,但是在增量总和变换中产生大量的高频噪音,有时使被连接的音频设备过载,所述增量总和类型被推荐而为SACD操作者使用。在这种情况下,必须减小输出信号的频带宽度。
本发明的目的是提供一种克服现有技术缺陷的转换器。为了实现这个目的,根据本发明的转换器具有如权利要求1所述的特征。
用此方式,通过改变噪音整形D/A输入数据和(时间离散)低通滤波器的采样频率的比率,就可根据噪音来修正输出信号的频带宽度。

附图显示了一种根据本发明的转换器CON的示范例,转换器CON包括一个输入端I,所述输入端I用来接收数字式输入信号Si,所述输入端与一个D/A转换器DAC相耦连,所述D/A转换器DAC用于将所输入的数字式信号Si转换为模拟信号Sa。在模拟信号被提供给输出端So之前,在一个低通滤波器LPF中进行滤波是必须的。所述低通滤波器包括一个控制输入端,该控制输入端利用一个控制信号C来控制滤波器的通过频率。低通滤波器LPF的输出端耦连到转换器CON的输出端O上而用于提供一个输出信号So。
通过修正低通滤波器的通过范围,就能够克服现有技术的缺陷,从而,高频噪音能够被过载在所连接的音频设备上。
作为一个示范例,当D/A转换器和低通滤波器LPF均以44.1kHz的64倍运行时,低通滤波器LPF的截止频率就选择为20kHz。以64倍的44.1kHz的倍数增加低通滤波器采样频率,在不需要额外的模拟硬件的情况下,输出频带宽度将增加到例如40、60或80kHz。
控制装置CM产生一个控制信号C,并被提供给低通滤波器LPF的控制输入端。控制装置将检测(图中没有指示)高频噪音并在所检测或期望的高频噪音的基础上来提供控制信号C。控制信号C将决定低通滤波器LPF的通过频率范围。
当输入信号Si具有一个采样频率Fs时,D/A转换器DAC具有一个采样频率N*Fs,低通滤波器LPF具有一个采样频率M*Fs,此时,M>=N。
在现有技术中,N=M=1
在图中,控制装置CM通过一条虚线与D/A转换器相耦连并用于提供控制信号C′,通过这条虚线表明,控制装置可以与低通滤波器LPF相耦连或与D/A转换器DAC相耦连,或与两者均相耦连。
通过使输入信号Si和D/A转换器或低通滤波器的采样频率的比率进行变化,就可根据高频噪音而修正低通滤波器的通过范围。用此方式,就可克服被连接的音频设备的过载。
Claims (4)
1一种包含一个D/A转换器和一个低通滤波器的转换器,其特征在于:转换器包括用于修正D/A输入信号和D/A输出信号或低通滤波器的采样频率的比率的控制装置。
2一种根据权利要求1的转换器,其特征在于:所述控制装置与低通滤波器相耦连而用于提供一个控制信号。
3一种根据权利要求1的转换器,其特征在于:所述控制装置与D/A转换器相耦连而用于提供一个控制信号。
4一种根据权利要求1的转换器,其特征在于:所述D/A输入信号的采样频率为Fs,D/A输出信号的采样频率为N*Fs,低通滤波器的采样频率为M*Fs,M>=N,其中,M和/或N是依据控制装置的控制信号而确定的。
