Description

缺油润滑状态的滚动元件轴承
技术领域
本发明涉及一种操作在缺油润滑状态的滚动元件轴承。在这样的情况下,在接触处的入口侧没有足够的润滑油用来飞溅,从而在由滚动元件与环件之间的接触点而限定的接触区域形成足够厚度的润滑油膜。在正常操作条件下,环和滚动元件之间的油膜厚度由接触点的几何形状、润滑油如粘度等的特性和飞溅速度所决定。在缺油润滑条件下润滑油的量也起作用。
背景技术
在那种情况下,接触区域的润滑油膜的厚度可能变得这样小,以至于滚动元件和环的表面或表面的凸凹不平处将会接触。继而,由于粘附磨损或表面损坏使得轴承寿命降低。
油膜厚度的减小还能导致由污染造成的寿命降低。较大的颗粒不再自由地通过接触面,而是会引起降低轴承寿命的凹坑。
缺油润滑状态可能由几个原因造成。例如,轴承中润滑油的量太少。缺油润滑状态还可能由于缺少适当的回流。在轴承中的滚子过度地碾压运转轨道,造成润滑油部分地流出运转轨道。如果滚子的速度很高,或者润滑油的粘度很高,则润滑油没有时间流回到运转轨道。因此用于此滚子的润滑油的剩余量太少,这意味着此滚子不能形成所需厚度的油膜。
在油脂润滑的轴承中此问题更严重,其中油脂被推入到运转轨道的侧面,并且只有少量保留在或流入到运转轨道内侧。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种此问题的解决方法,以使得即使在缺油润滑的条件下,轴承仍然可以具有可接受的寿命。此目的由一种滚动元件轴承实现,其包括一个内环和一个外环,它们各设置有一滚道,该轴承还包括一系列与各个环的滚道相接触的滚动元件,润滑油膜设置在滚动元件与滚道之间的接触处,润滑油膜在各接触处的入口侧形成一润滑油弯液面,该润滑油弯液面由从非润滑状态到润滑状态过渡而被限定出,其中该轴承处于缺油润滑状态,各滚动元件表面具有充填有一定量润滑油的微小凹部,所述凹部在由滚动元件和环之间的接触点所限定的接触区域被压平,并且从而在各接触处的入口侧释放润滑油,并导致该弯液面从所述接触处远离。所述弯液面的移动导致各接触区的油膜厚度增加。
由于在接触区的油膜厚度增加,金属对金属接触的风险降低,轴承寿命延长。
可以看出,带有微小凹部的球的滚动元件轴承本身是公知的。但是却从没有考虑过这样的滚动元件轴承在缺油润滑条件下会表现更好。根据本发明,一滚动元件轴承设置有微小的表面凹部与缺油润滑状态结合,即润滑油膜厚度其通常在无凹部表面的情况下会太小以至于不能充分地分离接触表面。
如上所述,在缺油润滑的条件下,用于充分分离接触表面的环和滚动元件之间的接触区的润滑油太少。这样的缺油润滑状态可由采用弯液面位置处的压力梯度曲线来限定。在润滑油充分的情况下,可获得完全浸入的接触,其特征在于在压力形成的起点处的一个零压力梯度。但是在缺油润滑条件下,此压力梯度是非零的,不充足的润滑油可获得距离接触区一所需距离处的弯液面。由该弯液面和滚动元件与环的连接表面之间所限定的润滑油容量不足以在接触点位置处获得足够的分离。
另一种限定缺油的方式是,考虑该被充填的小量,由润滑油膜的厚度与间隙的比值所限定。然后该弯液面由油膜厚度偏离间隙的点所限定。当此点接近赫兹接触时,该接触为缺油状态。
但是根据本发明,此油容量由从表面凹部而来的微小的附加油量来供给,该表面凹部在接触点的负荷下被压平。这些微小的量然后使弯液面移动离开前述的接触点,这将会导致接触表面在缺油润滑条件下更好地分离。
此凹部可具有任何适合的形状,并可设置成任何适合的图案。
如前所述,在凹部中容纳一定量润滑油的情况下,在缺油润滑条件下获得了改进的润滑效果。为了提高凹部内的润滑油的利用率,较佳的是使该凹部的表面能不同于围绕该凹部的区域的表面能。
作为一实施例,滚动元件表面被涂层,而凹部未被涂层。
特别是,该涂层是类金刚石碳涂层,并且该凹部包括钢材料。

图1表示在垂直于轴承轴线的横截面中在充足润滑条件下单一接触时的油膜厚度和压力。

具体实施方式
在图中,H代表接触表面之间的间隙。在充分浸入润滑的条件下,这相应于油膜厚度。在缺油润滑的条件下,这相应于加压区的油膜厚度。
在图1的正常的曲线图中,虚线与无凹部滚动元件及其滚道之间接触处的润滑油膜厚度有关。在该接触处,润滑油层的实际厚度约为0.14微米。
实线表示滚动元件凹部移动经过接触处、在该凹部的位置X=0处获取的油膜厚度。很明显,接触处内侧的润滑油层的厚度几乎不受凹部的影响。
图2的结果表示,在缺油润滑的条件下,润滑油层的厚度在接触处急剧减小。对于没有凹部的滚动元件,该厚度约为0.036微米,这通常太小以至于不能充分地将滚动元件和滚道相互分离。因此表面的凸凹不平相互接触,导致轴承寿命的降低。
在有凹部的滚动元件轴承中,尽管滚动元件轴承处于缺油的轴承润滑条件下,但接触处的润滑油层的厚度却相当大。实线与一在X=0处带有一凹部的滚动元件轴承有关,在接触处的入口侧约为0.06微米。此良好的效果是由于润滑油从凹部传送到滚动元件前面的油容量中、或者换言之是传送到其上游的油容量中。此油容量由滚动元件、滚道和一弯液面的表面限定。
在图3中,表示在完全浸入润滑和缺油润滑的情况下,一有凹部的滚动元件和无凹部的滚动元件之间在接触位置的差别的比较。
图4和图5表示在完全浸入润滑和缺油润滑的情况下,在垂直于滚道的横截面上的油膜厚度。
从图1和图4会清楚,在完全浸入润滑的情况下,在Y=0的位置出现一凹部,除在凹部自身的位置外,不会有很大的不同。
从图2中可以清楚,在缺油润滑的情况下,一有凹部的滚动元件表面与一平滑的滚动元件表面相比,前者上游油膜的厚度较好。

Claims (11)

1.一种滚动元件轴承,包括一个内环和一个外环,所述各环各设有一滚道,该轴承还包括一系列与各环滚道相接触的滚动元件,润滑油膜设置在滚动元件与滚道之间的接触处,所述润滑油膜在各接触处的入口侧形成一润滑弯液面,其中该轴承处于缺油润滑状态,各滚动元件表面具有充填有一定量润滑油的微小凹部,所述凹部在由滚动元件和环之间的接触点所限定的接触区域被压平,并且从而在各接触处的入口侧释放润滑油,并导致该弯液面进一步远离所述接触处,所述弯液面的远离运动导致各接触区的油膜厚度增加。
2.根据权利要求1的轴承,其特征在于,润滑油弯液面相对于滚道的表面形成一个非零的压力梯度。
3.根据权利要求1或2的轴承,其特征在于,该凹部具有任意形状。
4.根据权利要求3的轴承,其特征在于,该凹部包括横向的槽。
5.根据权利要求1或2的轴承,其特征在于,当液面进一步远离接触处后所获得的润滑油膜的厚度在接触点的中部至少是0.01微米。
6.根据权利要求1或2的轴承,其特征在于,该凹部形成一个均质的表面图案。
7.根据权利要求1或2的轴承,其特征在于,该凹部形成一个非均质的表面图案。
