Abstract

Description

多层薄页纸产品的生产方法
本发明涉及生产具有改进的柔软度的多层薄页纸产品、特别是纸手绢的方法。
随着不断增加的对薄页纸产品的质量和舒适性的需求,除了改进的吸收性和抗撕裂性外,最大柔软度的重要性逐渐增加,这取决于产品的应用。对纸手绢来说,柔软性是特别重要的,因为当用鼻子吸气时,人的鼻子是特别敏感的。
从现有技术如EP 0239 910A1或WO93/09287A1得知,通过将化学柔软剂溶液加入含纤维素纤维的纸浆中可以生产柔软的吸收性薄页纸,所述柔软剂溶液例如由季铵化合物如二乙酯二甲基氯化铵和多羟基柔软剂如聚乙二醇的1%溶液构成。根据该溶液的活性成分的组成,除了柔软度的改进外,可以获得其它产品质量如改进的抗润湿性和生物降解性等。
但是,将柔软剂溶液加入造纸机的湿部具有一些缺点。例如,将活性成分分布在层状的薄页纸幅的整个体积上,从而根据造纸纤维的质量,必须加入大量的柔软剂。此外,溶液中存在的季铵化合物的正电荷分子必须中和纤维素纸浆中的负电荷纤维。这导致柔软剂溶液消耗量的增加。最后,当加入如11千克活性柔软剂/吨造纸纸浆,仅有0.4千克的量作为活性成分留在产品中。因此,由于在生产过程的“湿部”加入柔软剂溶液,已知的方法包括很大的消耗量。
基于上述的问题,本发明的目的是提供一种生产具有改进的柔软性的多层薄页纸产品的方法,其是通过更经济地消耗柔软剂而实现的。
该目的是通过权利要求1中提到的工艺步骤实现的,即:
生产层状的薄页纸幅,
组装层状的纸幅以形成多层纸幅产品,该纸幅未经过柔软性处理,以及
用柔软涂剂(lotion)印刷呈干态的产品纸幅,该涂剂具有以重量百分数表示的下列最小组成:
季铵化合物                           3-30%
硅氧烷泡沫抑制剂                     0.1-3.0%
芦荟粉末                              0.01-10%
多羟基柔软剂,特别是聚乙二醇          0.05-5%
余量的水。
优选的季铵化合物具有下列结构式:

及其混合物;其中每个R取代基是C1-C6烷基或羟烷基,或其混合物,优选R选自C1-C6烷基;R1
或C13-C19烃基或其混合物,优选R1选自C16-C18烷基;R2是C13-C21烃基或其混合物,优选R2选自C13-C17烷基;以及X-是相容的阴离子,优选氯离子或甲酯硫酸根。作为一个实例,提到二乙酯二甲基氯化铵。
通过印刷产品的纸幅,将有利地应用柔软涂剂,实际上仅在表面上进行,在表面上该柔软涂剂赋予纸产品愉快的触感性能。例如,相对于现有技术,柔软涂剂的消耗量可以减半,因为每吨纸涂敷5.5千克。由于该印刷法,在最终产品上发现该用量实际上没有损失。在四层纸手绢上的相应的滴定测试已表明,在该用量中,在两外层上柔软剂的含量为每吨纸5.3千克,而在两内层中柔软剂的含量仅为每吨纸0.1千克。
柔软涂剂的确定的化学组成提供了多种好处,其中一些好处与印刷法相结合而表现出来。例如,使用比现有技术高得多的一定含量的硅氧烷泡沫抑制剂。传统上使用该泡沫抑制剂仅仅通过包装过程的压力来抑制在产品上形成的泡沫。但是,当包装阶段产品上所受的压力相对较小时,小比例的泡沫抑制剂就足够了。传统上硅氧烷的比例通常是0.01%,即本发明所规定的比例的1/10。该高比例的硅氧烷抵消了印刷过程中所起的泡沫,其比上面提到的包装法对产品施加的压力更大。
在这方面还需指出的是,令人惊奇的是,柔软涂剂对剪切不敏感,并且由于硅氧烷泡沫抑制剂的加入量较大,所谓的小滴贯穿未受到损害,这与预期的相反。这意味着本发明的薄页纸产品的吸收性和亲水性实际上保持与未处理的产品同样好。
本发明的好处可以概括如下:
柔软涂剂的用量降低,
柔软涂剂不会留下令人不愉快的油脂气味,
柔软涂剂的亲水性和吸收性未受损害,
当通过印刷法涂敷时,柔软涂剂对剪切不敏感,
该方法使用不昂贵的化学物质。
为了该目的在现有技术中提到的聚二甲基硅氧烷是优选的泡沫抑制剂。
由于柔软涂剂的酸性调整,在薄页纸产品中使用防腐剂是不必要的。但是,该印刷工艺将使用具有防腐表面(如陶瓷材料)的凹版滚筒。
通过使用氯化钙和污垢隔离剂(soil release agent),调整乳液的浓度,并获得一定的储存稳定性。
将柔软涂剂涂敷到产品的多层纸幅的外侧的凹版滚筒用于印刷法是有利的。对于所需的柔软效果来说,选择每个外侧上每单位面积的重量范围是0.5-6.0克/米2
下文将参考一实施例详细描述本发明。
以更加常规的方式在造纸机上生产薄页纸的层状纸幅以生产多层纸手绢。进一步的描述是不必要的。仅需指出的是,在所有情况下,每单位面积层状纸幅的重量范围是约12-18克/米2
组装呈干态的四层这样的多层纸幅以形成产品的四层未处理的纸幅,各层通过如EP 0755 212 A1所述类型的模压法而连接。将该文件的公开部分包括在本发明中。
产品的干纸幅最终引导通过一对凹版滚筒,在所有情况下该滚筒将每单位面积重量为1.7克/米2的柔软涂剂涂敷到产品纸幅的两外侧的表面上。
柔软涂剂具有下列化学组成:
二乙酯二甲基氯化铵,呈N,N-(二牛酯酰基-氧-乙基)-N,N-二甲基氯化铵的形式,3%重量;
硅氧烷泡沫抑制剂,呈聚二甲基硅氧烷的形式,0.5%重量;
芦荟粉末,8%重量;
多羟基柔软剂,呈聚乙二醇的形式,2%重量;
盐酸,0.02%重量;
污垢隔离剂,0.5%重量;
氯化钙,0.2%重量。
就所用的化合物来说,应注意下列:
从EP 0239 910 A2可以得到有关聚二甲基硅氧烷用作泡沫抑制剂和污垢隔离剂的进一步细节,将其公开内容引入本发明。
可以称为“PEG 4000”的市售产品得到聚乙二醇,其由德国,Ludwigshafen的BASF生产。同样的产品以名称“PEG 4050”作为50%的水溶液销售。如果使用该形式的多羟基柔软剂,本发明的柔软涂剂的化学组成的比例应相应地加倍。
芦荟粉末是芦荟的高度浓缩的形式,其中浓度是挤压芦荟叶子得到的液体浓度的约200倍。
而且,上面提到的柔软涂剂实际上本身具有很好的杀菌性能。这不仅是由于pH值,而是由于活性成分本身和多羟基化合物的性质。

Claims (10)

1.一种生产具有改进的柔软性的多层薄页纸产品、特别是纸手绢的方法,其是通过下列工艺步骤实现的,即:
生产层状的薄页纸幅,
组装层状的纸幅以形成多层纸幅产品,该纸幅最好未经过柔软性处理,以及
用柔软涂剂印刷呈干态的产品纸幅,该涂剂具有以重量百分数表示的下列最小组成:
季铵化合物                       3-30%
硅氧烷泡沫抑制剂                 0.1-3.0%
芦荟粉末                         0.1-10%
多羟基柔软剂,特别是聚乙二醇      0.05-5%
余量的水。
2.权利要求1的方法,其中季铵化合物具有下列结构式:

5.根据权利要求1的方法,其中将柔软涂剂调节成酸性的,特别是通过加入0.01-0.5%重量的盐酸而实现的。
6.根据权利要求1的方法,其中以0.1-1.0%重量的比例将污垢隔离剂加入柔软涂剂中。
7.根据权利要求1的方法,其中以0.01-1.5%重量的比例将氯化钙加入柔软涂剂中。
8.根据权利要求1的方法,其中通过凹版滚筒将柔软涂剂涂敷到产品纸幅外侧上。
9.根据权利要求8的方法,其中以每单位面积重量为0.5-6.0克/米2将柔软涂剂涂敷到每个外侧上。
10.特别适用于权利要求1的方法中的涂剂,包括以重量百分数表示的下列最小组成:
季铵化合物                       3-30%
硅氧烷泡沫抑制剂                 0.1-3.0%
芦荟粉末                         0.1-10%
多羟基柔软剂,特别是聚乙二醇      0.05-5%
余量的水。
