Abstract

本发明涉及一种用于在电信模块的触点中端接电缆芯的端接工具。
背景技术
在电信工程中,电缆芯通过在模块中端接而相互连接,模块中包括的触点通常为绝缘层剥离触点(IDC)。电缆芯通过将其塞入到触点中进行端接,这样绝缘层剥离触点锋利的切割刀刃通过电缆芯的绝缘层咬入,然后与电缆芯的电线导体导电接触。在DE298 14 484 U1中描述了一种端接工具。这种端接工具包括手柄和夹具,在夹具上设有修剪器。修剪器构形成这样的形状,即基于侧边切割原理配合的两个刀片中间,通过挤住或是割断电缆芯,而将电缆芯修剪到一定长度。修剪器可构形成使电缆芯塞入触点后恰好可对一个电缆芯进行修剪。在本技术领域中所描述的其它端接工具也具有修剪器的特征,其中的修剪器构形成一次只修剪一根电缆芯的形状。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提出一种用于在电信模块的触点中端接电缆芯的端接工具,它可以在单次操作中将至少两根电缆芯修剪到一定长度。
上述目的的技术解决方案在于一种在电信模块的触点中用于端接电缆芯的端接工具,其包括手柄、用于接纳所述电缆芯并将它们塞入到触点中的夹具,以及在所述夹具上的一个至少是双作用的修剪器,其中所述修剪器包括至少一个双边可动刀片或至少两个可动刀片,所述至少一个双边可动刀片或至少两个可动刀片分别与该夹具上的两个固定刀刃或与该夹具上的至少一个固定刀刃配合而适合于在单次操作中将至少两根电缆芯修剪到一定长度。
由于本发明的修剪器至少是双作用的,这样在单次操作中可以塞入和修剪至少两根电缆芯。换句话说,在一个模块上端接电缆芯,至少两根电缆芯可以设置在夹具上的合适的导向装置上,并塞入到它们各自触点中然后由修剪器修剪到一定长度。这通过例如在两个相对边上具有锋利的刀刃的可动的刀片是可以实现的,其中该刀片首先枢转到一边以与一固定刀片配合形成第一修剪,然后枢转到另一边(在继续该行程期间)形成第二修剪,其中相对的切割刀刃与另外的固定切割刀刃配合。
依照本发明,用于将一完整的模块接通回路所需的时间实际上可以减半,因为两根电缆芯可以塞入它们相应的触点中,并在单独操作中进行修剪。前面描述的实施例仅需要用于在两根电缆上操作修剪的行程较长。然而这一缺点可以在优选的实施例中避免,其中两个刀片可以同时向分离的固定刀片移动,以同时修剪两根电缆芯。在这一实施例中,行程较短,虽然用于形成两个修剪作用的力比用于形成单个修剪作用的力大,但是所需的切割力可以是由人工提供的。
虽然可以采用所谓的“侧边切割原理”(也就是两个刀片向一起推动,当它们彼此接触时在两个切割刀刃之间产生修剪作用),但是更可取的是,本发明采用一种“剪刀作用”(也就是一可动刀片与夹具上的固定刀刃配合,当它们彼此贴近地通过时形成切割作用)。
如上所述,本发明的一个优选的实施例构形成,使得修剪器包括一双边的可动刀片,该刀片与夹具上的两个固定切割刀刃或刀片配合。双边的刀片是可动的,或甚至是可枢转的,这样其可以例如在塞入和修剪一根电线的操作中首先转动或移动到一边,以与夹具上的固定刀片或切割刀刃配合,以修剪设置在其间的电缆芯。随后,刀片枢转或移动到工具的另一边,(例如借助于与工具上的销配合的合适的导向装置),以与工具的所述其它侧上的另一个固定刀片配合来修剪第二根电缆芯。该实施例的优点是需要修剪两根电缆芯的力相对小,但是行程稍微长些。
另一方案是,利用第二优选的实施例行程可以短些,但是需要修剪的力要稍微大些。在第二实施例中,具有至少两个可动刀或刀片,其与夹具上的至少一个固定刀或刀片配合。换句话说,两个刀片是可移动到,或甚至是可枢转到夹具上的一个或多个固定切割刀刃,这样同时或实际上同时产生修剪作用。该实施例具有两个分开固定的切割刀刃,每个切割刀刃与可动的刀或刀片中的一个配合。然而,优选的是采用一个单独固定的双边的刀或刀片与两个可动刀片配合。两个可动刀片以向内的方向(即朝向彼此的方向)朝固定的双边刀片移动,以在两边修剪电缆芯。

具体实施方式
图中所描述的仅仅是端接工具的夹具部分26和修剪器10。然而可以理解,除了槽式凹口12以外,夹具26还可设有进一步的导向装置,例如在一个双设置中,凹口12的功能将在后面描述,这样两根电缆芯可以设置在夹具26中并塞入到通信模块的触点中。图中所描述的修剪器基本上可以起到以下所描述的作用。
在端接工具上设有一个移动元件,其包括一个销,该销在凸轮导向件14中被导向。当带有在其前端构形成止挡的夹具26完全位于电信模块中时,也就是当电缆芯完全塞入到它们对应的触点中的情况下,施加在该端接工具的手柄上的进一步压力使导向件14中的销移动,这样可动刀片16绕支点24枢转。刀片16的前端(如图顶部所示)在两边设有切割刀刃18。同刀片16配合的凹口12的刀刃28大致构形成固定切割刀刃28,其与刀片16合作。可动刀片16借助于销(未示出)枢转,该销在导向件14中向上运动。因为该销不能横向地移动,所以导向的范围大致从中间开始,到达如图中所示的左边,在点20处,其导致可动刀片16的后部转到右边。由于围绕支点24枢转,因此这将导致前部向左枢转。可动刀片16的切割刀刃18因此沿着固定部分和凹口12的切割刀刃28移动到左边,这样设置在凹口12中的电缆芯利用剪刀式作用被进行修剪。导向件从导向件14的“凸起”20运行到左边大致回到中间处,这样刀片16至少暂时返回到中间位置。从中间位置开始,导向件14稍微地偏斜到右边,向上达到末端22,这样销的进一步移动引起可动刀片16的后端转到左边,于是前切割刀刃18转到右边。这引起切割刀刃18通过在右边上的右手边的凹槽12的切割刀刃28,这样修剪了设置在其中的电缆芯。松开作用在夹具26上的压力,这样移动部分的销通过导向件14滑回,使修剪器返回到如图中所示的开始的位置。
因此在单独的操作中两根电缆芯可以借助于可动刀片16修剪到一定长度,其刃18首先枢转到一边然后转到另一边。
图中所示的实施例中的可动刀片16是可改变的,可动刀片16同样包括在其前端的两个凹口,两个凹口带有类似于固定部分的凹口12的切割刀刃。在这样的情况下,一旦只枢转可动刀片16到一边,就允许一起工作的两个配合凹口的每一个的切割刀刃去修剪设置在其间的电缆芯。这样的修剪器可以以一个较短的行程修剪两根电缆芯,但是需要一个较大的力用于修剪。这同样适用于具有两个向外部可动刀片的实施例中(图中未示出),可动刀片可以基本上同时朝内部固定刃移动,同时形成两个修剪作用。当然,两个可动刀片的每一个导向件构形成,使得修剪不会精确地同时发生,在本实施例中以确保一个相对短的行程与相对小的作用力(取决于修剪的顺序)。
Claims (3)
1.一种在电信模块的触点中用于端接电缆芯的端接工具,其包括手柄、用于接纳所述电缆芯并将它们塞入到触点中的夹具,以及在所述夹具上的一个至少是双作用的修剪器(10),其特征在于:所述修剪器(10)包括至少一个双边可动刀片(16)或至少两个可动刀片(16),所述至少一个双边可动刀片(16)或至少两个可动刀片(16)分别与该夹具上的两个固定刀刃或与该夹具上的至少一个固定刀刃配合而适合于在单次操作中将至少两根电缆芯修剪到一定长度。
2.如权利要求1所述的端接工具,其特征在于,在该夹具上设有两个固定刀刃,它们构成一个双边的固定刀。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的端接工具,其特征在于,可动刀片(16)相对于夹具上的固定刀刃是可枢转的。
