Abstract

Description

用于制备含水涂层剂的粉末组合物
本发明涉及粉末组合物,该组合物作为含水的分散体适用于金属-,木材-,和塑料基质的涂层,尤其是也适合钢材-和混凝土基质的涂层。
有一系列的涂层组合物是已知的,它作为含水的分散体可用于上述基质的涂层。
按EP-A 384 506采用一种含水的涂层组合物,它除了多元醇和填料以及任选的尿素树脂和聚丙烯酸酯分散体外还含15至55%(重量)的蜜胺树脂,其中各组分在搅拌下相互混合并掺入水。用水可稀释的酸作为硬组分。此涂层剂用于木材基质的涂层,主要用于成型的薄板(Finish-Folien)和连续的边缘料(Endloskanten)。
类似的组合物,该组合物除此之外还含有含羟基的聚酯,例如在EP-A 541 635和DE-A 40 01 672中有描述。按EP-A 279 441例如是在含水介质中分散的含量为含水涂层组合物的5至50%(重量)组分的蜜胺树脂。
基本上用家具和层压板工业例如也用纸板的基质作为基质。
例举的涂层组合物对水应稳定,这关系到内部潮湿的作用,但是特别是外用的涂层不耐水并因此是对气候不稳定的。
其它性能,如涂层组合物在随后的使用后对热作用的稳定性,尤其是在木材基质上的涂层无保证,但在钢材-和混凝土基质上也无保证。
含水涂层材料的制备通常是通过悬浮或将各个组分细分布在水中。在长时间放置和/或当贮存中环境温度大波动时含水涂层材料就出现稳定性问题或在加工中出现问题。
因此本发明的任务是,寻找涂层组合物,该组合物在长时间存放无稳定性问题和加工问题,特别是无冰冻稳定性问题,和此涂层组合物加工成含水涂层材料的费用不高。除此之外使得到的涂层提高对潮湿影响的稳定性以及在快速加热和在热的作用下基质着火时能起保护作用。
此任务通过用于制备含水的涂层剂的粉末组合物解决,该组合物包含:
A)15至30%(重量)的一种或多种蜜胺树脂,
B)3至30%(重量)的一种或多种多元醇,
C)10至50%(重量)的一种或多种磷酸盐和或多磷酸盐,
D)3至30%(重量)的一种或多种氯代烃和/或蜜胺和/或蜜胺衍生物和/或双氰胺。
除此之外可含有附加添加剂例如润湿剂,乳化剂,触变剂,颜料,填料和控制反应的试剂。
按本发明组分A可采用一种或多种的蜜胺树脂作粘接剂。蜜胺树脂是缩合产物,如它按已知的方法通过醛,特别是甲醛与苯胍胺或蜜胺反应得到。它们可与带有1至6个碳原子的醇全部或部分醚化。优选是蜜胺-甲醛-反应产物。特别合适的是六甲氧基甲基蜜胺树脂(Hexamethoximethylmelaminharze),例如商标为CYMEL 300,301,303的商品。
蜜胺树脂在按本发明粉末组合物中加入的量为15-30%(重量),优选超过15%(重量),特别优选15至20%(重量)。
组分B优选采用水不溶性的多元醇。这些醇可以是多元醇例如多元的,分枝对称的和不对称的醇,例如季戊四醇和二季戊四醇。除此之外也可采用碳水化合物如低聚糖,特别是较高的低聚糖,以及多聚糖,例如这种碳水化合物是纤维素和淀粉。
优选采用季戊四醇和二季戊四醇。
按本发明的组分C可采用磷酸盐和/或多磷酸盐,它们特别是能与组分B反应,例如多磷酸铵。
也可应用水溶性的磷酸盐,例如磷酸铵,用量可达基于粉末组合物的10至50%(重量)。
优选采用多磷酸铵。
组分D按本发明采用氯代烃,蜜胺和/或蜜胺衍生物例如蜜胺磷酸酯,蜜胺三聚氰酸酯,以及双氰胺。它用于在热的作用时不燃性气体的形成。特别优选是采用蜜胺和蜜胺衍生物。
如果必要在按本发明的粉末组合物中也可含基于组合物的至15%(重量)的其它粘合剂。这些例如可以是其它的交联的树脂如丙烯酸酯树脂,醇酸树脂,醋酸酯树脂。此外可采用分散粉末如醋酸乙烯酯-共聚物,醋酸乙烯酯-乙烯酯-共聚物,丙烯酸苯乙烯酯,聚丙烯酸酯和苯乙烯丁二烯(styrobutadien)。此外这些也可用作改善粘结性和柔韧性。
除了粉末状的组分A-D外必要时也可应用液体组分A-D,一般说来它们在加入粉末组合物之前通过喷雾干燥转化成粉末形式。
必要时按本发明的粉末组合物也可含能膨胀的石墨,它在热作用下膨胀。例如这种能膨胀的石墨含量为基于粉末组合物的0至5%(重量)。
除了上述的组分A至D外其它附加物如添加剂也有可能。这些添加剂可以是润湿剂,例如六偏磷酸钠,乳化剂,增塑剂,触变剂,例如硅酸,颜料,例如二氧化钛,成膜剂,脱泡剂,稳定剂,除尘剂和其它普通的添加剂。
液体添加剂组分可通过喷雾干燥转化成相应的粉末形式。
也可应用由按本发明的粉末组合物和其它的附加物的结合制备涂层组合物。这种附加物质例如可以是氢氧化铝和/或硼酸盐,例如硼酸锌,其加入量可至基于组合物的10%(重量)。
按本发明的粉末组合物可在制造粉末混合物的普通设备中制备,如需要,这些组成可用普通的为此目的的设备研磨成所需的粒度范围。
粉末组合物可存放在普通的容器和输送。
需要时,亦即直接在使用前,将按本发明的粉末组合物与水在搅拌下进行混合。例如可采用40至80%(重量)的按本发明的粉末组合物和60至20%(重量)的水,优选由55至75%(重量)按本发明的粉末组合物和45至25%(重量)的水组成的混合物。必要时与分散助剂和/或其它普通的添加剂一起使用。
涂层可按普通方法和用普通涂层设备进行,例如用喷涂法或用毛刷-或辊子涂层。
按本发明的粉末组合物可作为含水的分散体在所有的普通基质表面上涂层。可涂在金属-,木材-和塑料基质上,特别是也可按本发明涂在钢材-和混凝土表面上。
按本发明粉末组合物的含水分散体既可直接涂在未处理的基质表面上也可涂在打底的基质表面上。例如基质表面在涂敷组合物之前涂上防腐层。
含水的分散体可在基质上涂一层或多层。
涂层的干层厚度一般为例如200μm至10mm。它基本上取决于基质的种类和外形。空心型材通常需要较高的涂层厚度。
涂层的干燥或硬化可在室温或环境温度进行或通过提高温度进行。
在基于本发明的粉末组合物涂层上面可涂上另外的层保护表面免受环境影响。这可以用适当的遮盖涂料例如以PVC-丙烯酸酯为基础的涂料,在此遮盖层同时又作为颜色造型(farblichenGestaltung),或也可涂上清漆层。
用按本发明的粉末组合物有可能获得存放和温度稳定的组合物,该组合物用简单方法和基本不用花费时间就可在新鲜制备的条件下加工成待用的含水的分散体。因此粉末组合物与存放时间、温度影响,特别是冰冻影响没有关系。因为单组分体系在含水介质中仅短时间是稳定的,所以这是特别重要的。除此之外由于较少的运输量使运输花费明显减少,因为按本发明的粉末组合物只在使用地方与所需的水量掺合制备含水的分散体。特别惊讶的是,虽然按本发明应用蜜胺作粘结剂可达到涂层的目的,但是该涂层具有高的阻燃性和同时确保非常好的耐潮性和耐冻性和因此特别适用于对防火必须有相应要求的基质。
本发明借助于下列实例于以解释:
实例1
按本发明的粉末组合物的制备
在固体混合器中称量入20重量份六甲基酮蜜胺(Hexamethylonmelamin),20重量份的季戊四醇,10重量份的蜜胺,40重量份的多磷酸铵,10重量份的添加剂/颜料并进行混合形成一种干的粉状混合物。
实例2
粉末分散体的制备
100重量份的粉末混合物与25重量份的水在时间约3-4分钟内搅拌成均匀的分散体并然后直接在打底层的钢面上涂层。

Claims (6)

1.用含水的分散体形式的粉末组合物在基质上涂敷制备涂层的方法,其特征在于,所采用的粉末组合物包含:
A)15至30%重量的一种或多种蜜胺树脂,
B)3至30%重量的一种或多种多元醇,
C)10至50%重量的一种或多种磷酸盐和/或多磷酸盐,和
D)3至30%重量的一种或多种蜜胺和/或蜜胺衍生物,
和这种分散体用在以塑料、混凝土、钢材和木材为基础的基质上。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于,以蜜胺/甲醛反应产物为基础的蜜胺树脂用作组分A。
3.根据权利要求1或2的方法,其特征在于,季戊四醇用作组分B。
4.根据权利要求1或2的方法,其特征在于,除了组分A至D之外,粉末组合物包含氢氧化铝和/或硼酸锌作为另外加入的物质。
5.根据权利要求1或2的方法,其特征在于,除了组分A至D外,粉末组合物中含有含量为0-5%重量的可膨胀的石墨。
6.根据权利要求1或2的方法,其特征在于,使用含水的分散体,该分散体用40至80%重量的粉末组合物和20至60%重量的水在搅拌下进行混合制备。
