一种光纤通信电缆外护层材料配方及辐照交联工艺,它在普通配方中添加一定组分的抗氧剂、交联剂、阻燃剂等并进行辐照交联工艺处理,使光纤外护层具有耐热、耐磨损、耐开裂、耐老化、耐溶剂等特点,大大延长了光纤电缆的使用年限。

Description

光纤通信电缆外护层材料配方及辐照交联工艺
本发明涉及通讯器材领域,属于光纤通讯电缆外护层的材料及工艺。
目前国内市场光纤通信电缆的外护层采用高压聚乙烯为基料,辅加一般添加剂制成。电缆耐温等级低(80℃左右),机械性、阻燃性差、耐候性不好。导致电缆现场施工条件要求高,实际运行寿命短,对因火灾、碰撞等突发事件的预防及处理环节薄弱。
本发明的目的在于:提供一种新的材料配方及工艺,提高光纤通讯电缆的机械强度,耐候性和阻燃性。
本发明的技术方案是:
1、辐照交联光纤通信电缆外护层的材料配方的组份为:
高压聚乙烯每100份添加阻燃剂30份,碳黑3份,抗氧剂1.5份,交联剂,3份
2、辐照工艺
应用电子加速器高能射线对光纤通信电缆的外护层进行辐射交联处理,使其原来的线性分子结构变成三维网状结构,使它具有耐热、耐磨损、耐开裂、耐老化、耐溶剂等特点。辐照时对φ25mm以上光纤通信电缆采用跑道式辐照。辐照工艺流程(一般流程):拉丝→绞线→钢带铠装→绝缘层挤出→辐照交联→成品
采用以上配方及工艺生产的光纤通讯电缆具有以下优点及效果:
按此配方生产的光纤通信电缆经辐射交联后,电缆的机械、物理等性能比未辐照交联的光纤通信电缆有较大的改善和提高,主要技术指标达到耐温等级105℃;氧指数OI>27低囟;抗张强度TS12.5N/MM2;断裂伸长率EB<200%;经150℃、168h老化后Ts变化率<±25%;Eb变化率<±25%;热延伸Hs<175%;永久变形率<15%;人工老化1008h后指标合格。
实施方法:
应用电子加速器高能射线对光纤通信电缆外护层进行辐射交联时,根据电缆外径调整传动速度、束流强度、辐照剂量,一般指标为Φ3-12Φmm传动最高速度150m/分、Φ10-35传动速度为12-80m/分;束流强度1-20MA;辐照剂量10-15Mrad;辐照时要求电缆以钢带接地,注意成缆偏芯度,挤出温度为<175℃;控制辐照均匀度,使交联度达到70%以上。
经辐照交联与未经辐照交联的光纤通信电缆外护层主要物理、机械性能指标的比较见下表:

  1. 一种光纤通信电缆外护层材料配方及辐照交联工艺,其特征在于:
    1、辐照交联光纤通信电缆外护层的材料配方的组份为:
    高压聚乙烯每100份添加阻燃剂30份,碳黑3份,抗氧剂1.5份,交联剂,3份
  2. 2、辐照工艺
    应用电子加速器高能射线对光纤通信电缆的外护层进行辐射交联处理,辐照时对Φ25mm以上光纤通信电缆采用跑道式辐照。辐照工艺流程(一般流程):拉丝→绞线→钢带铠装→绝缘层挤出→辐照交联→成品。
