可变换辅助输入装置
本发明总体上讲涉及用于包括视频游戏控制台的计算机的辅助输入装置,更具体地讲涉及铰接机构的使用,这种铰接机构允许辅助输入装置从右手使用状态变换至左手使用状态。

计算机输入装置已有多种,这些输入装置可以单独使用或者与其他辅助输入装置联合使用。光栅式计算机(raster-basedcomputer)游戏通常使用操作杆和控制盘。在操作个人计算机时还通常使用键盘和鼠标控制器。当这些装置组合使用时,它们的排列要符合使用者的方位要求和喜好。一部分使用者喜欢使用位于键盘的右手侧的鼠标控制器。而其他使用者却喜欢将鼠标控制器放置在键盘的左边。两个辅助装置的有形联结或者甚至于是否将它们彼此联结,代表着特定的选择。另外,原始取位可能使所希望的装置之组合更加困难。

为实现上述目的,根据本发明所提供的可变换辅助输入装置包括:

一具有底表面的多轴输入装置;和

根据本发明,铰接机构具有两个旋转点,第一个旋转点位于控制盘的底表面上。这个旋转点允许铰接机构从控制盘的一侧旋转至另一侧,这种旋转是通过以控制盘的底表面作为圆弧直径旋转半圆弧度实现的。铰接机构的第二转点位于多轴输入装置的底表面上。这个旋转点允许多轴输入装置相对于控制盘的底表面的平面旋转180度。基于这两个旋转自由度,铰接机构允许多轴输入装置从控制盘的一侧移至另一侧,且不必使多轴输入装置完全与控制盘分离。

图1示出了根据本发明的第一实施例的可变换辅助输入装置10。在图1中,可变换辅助输入装置10包括一个控制盘12和一个三轴操作杆14。控制盘12具有用于向视频游戏控制台输入各种数据的按钮和按键。操作杆14具有一个供拇指操作的z轴控制器18。这两个装置(控制盘12和操作杆14)沿控制盘基体边缘20和操作杆基座边缘22相联结。

Claims (12)

1.一种可变换辅助输入装置,包括:
一具有底表面的控制盘(12);和
一具有底表面的多轴输入装置(14),
其特征在于:
设有一个铰接部件(42),此铰接部件具有第一端(48,60)和与所述第一端相对的第二端(44,62),以便连接所述控制盘(12)和所述多轴输入装置(14),所述铰接部件在所述第一端处以可相对于所述控制盘的所述底表面旋转基本上180度的方式安装至所述控制盘上,所述铰接部件还在所述第二端处以可相对于所述多轴输入装置的所述底表面旋转基本上180度的方式安装至所述多轴输入装置上,
其中,所述多轴输入装置可以移动至所述控制盘的右侧或左侧。
2.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述控制盘(12)在其所述底表面中具有第一开孔(36),并且所述铰接部件的所述第一端具有第一突耳(48),此突耳插入所述第一开孔中,以便所述铰接部件(42)能够相对于所述控制盘的所述底表面旋转。
3.根据权利要求2的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述铰接部件还包括沿与所述第一端(48)相同方向延伸的第三端(50)和沿与所述第二端(44)相同方向延伸的第四端(46),所述控制盘(12)在其所述底表面中具有第二开孔(36),所述第三端(50)具有第二突耳(50),它插入所述控制盘的所述第二开孔中。
4.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述控制盘(12)在其所述底表面中具有第一突耳,并且所述铰接部斜(58)的所述第一端(60)具有第一凹孔(60a),所述第一突耳插入此凹孔中,以便所述铰接部件能够相对于所述控制盘的所述底表面旋转。
5.根据权利要求4的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述铰接部件(58)还包括沿与所述第一端(60)相同方向延伸的第三端(64)和沿与所述第二端(62)相同方向延伸的第四端(66),所述控制盘(12)在其所述底表面中具有第二突耳,所述第三端(64)具有插入所述控制盘的所述第二突耳的第二凹孔。
6.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述控制盘(12)包括两个各具有一侧壁的高起部分(34,39)和在所述控制盘(12)的所述底表面中所述两高起部分(34,39)的所述侧壁之间形成的一个空间,所述侧壁的每一个垂直于所述控制盘的所述底表面并在其中具有一个槽形孔(36),所述高起部分(34,39)的每一个具有一个与相应槽形孔(36)连续相接的豁口(38,40),所述铰接部件(42)具有与所述第一端(48)沿相同方向延伸的第三端(50),所述第一端和所述第三端的每一个均具有一个突耳(48,50),所述突耳(48,50)插入相应豁口(38,40)和槽形孔(36)中,以便所述突耳(48,50)能够在所述槽形孔(36)中旋转并且能够朝着所述槽形孔(36)的延伸方向移动。
7.根据权利要求6的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述铰接部件(42)的所述突耳(48,50)的每一个均包括一个可插入相应的所述槽形孔(36)中的柱形部分和一个可插入相应的所述豁口中的矩形突出部分。
8.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,还设有一个固定装置(52),用于将所述铰接部件(42,58)牢靠地固定在所述控制盘(12)上。
9.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述固定装置包括一个螺钉(52),此螺钉穿过所述铰接部件(42)紧固至所述控制盘(12)。
10.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述多轴输入装置(14)是操作杆。
11.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述多轴输入装置(14)是跟踪球。
12.根据权利要求1的可变换辅助输入装置,其特征在于,所述多轴输入装置(14)是鼠标控制器。
