The preparation method of the traditional Chinese medicine composition comprises the following steps: mixing the Chinese medicine with water 2cm from which the Chinese medicine is soaked, decocting at 80deg.C for 10min, decocting the residue obtained by filtering again according to the above operation, and mixing the filtrates obtained by the two decoctions to obtain the Chinese medicinal composition.

A traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating calf viral pneumonia consists of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20 parts of gentian, 20 parts of cape jasmine, 20 parts of baical skullcap root, 15 parts of Chinese thorowax root, 35 parts of dried rehmannia root, 35 parts of plantain seed, 20 parts of oriental waterplantain rhizome, 35 parts of common akebia stem, 15 parts of Chinese angelica, 35 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizome, 20 parts of yam rhizome, 35 parts of dittany bark and 15 parts of honey-fried licorice root.
The preparation method of the traditional Chinese medicine composition comprises the following steps: mixing the Chinese medicine and water which is 5cm away from the Chinese medicine, decocting for 25min at 120 ℃, decocting the residues obtained by filtering again according to the operation, and combining the filtrates obtained by the two decoction to obtain the Chinese medicine composition.

1. Epidemiological investigation of calves in a farm:
Diseased calf: 3 months of age
Cough in calves, feverish lung, diarrhea, anorexia, etc.

the weight of 120kg calf was used, one pair of the traditional Chinese medicine composition prepared in example 1 was taken daily, and 2 pairs were taken as one treatment course, for 2 treatment courses.
5. The prognosis effect is as follows: as shown in tables 3 and 4, it is clear from table 3 that the lymphocyte, hemoglobin content and average volume of platelets, which are higher in the conventional blood test result, return to the normal range after administration of the Chinese medicinal composition of the present invention, and the hemoglobin, hemoglobin concentration and total number of platelets are significantly reduced although they do not return to the normal range; the total number of red blood cells and the distribution width of red blood cells with lower detection results are also returned to the normal range.
As shown in Table 4, the total protein and the aspartic acid transferase with higher detection results in the biochemical index detection results of blood return to the normal range, and the triglyceride with lower detection results also returns to the normal range after the traditional Chinese medicine composition is taken.

Clinical efficacy experiment
Clinical observations: the total number of calves is 60, and the calves are all calves with different ages between 60 and 90 days. The groups were randomly divided into 2 groups, i.e., experimental and control groups, 30 heads per group, with no significant differences between the groups.
The experimental method comprises the following steps: the experimental group took the traditional Chinese medicine composition prepared in example 1 one pair per day, taking 2 pairs as one treatment course, and total 2 treatment courses. The control group took the drug florfenicol. The effect of the traditional Chinese medicine composition on treating calf viral pneumonia is observed.
Diagnostic criteria: the clinical characteristics are depression of spirit, appetite drop and body temperature rise; when lying on the ground, the cough and the breathing times are increased, the abdomen type breathing is realized, the auscultation lung has dry or wet rales, and when serious, the mouth opening breathing is realized, the cough with different degrees is realized, and the dyspnea is even failure.
During clinical trial, i.e. before, during and 3 days after administration, 1 day of observation was performed to record the number of coughs, increased respiration, apparent asthma, decreased appetite or promotion, increased body temperature, mental and other systemic symptoms of the tested calf, and whether death occurred.
Determination criteria:

Invalidation criteria: symptoms are unchanged after administration, and aggravated or die.
The administration dose is calculated according to the weight of the sick calf, and the administration is orally carried out. Treatment results: the traditional Chinese medicine composition disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the cure rate is 93.33% for treating naturally-occurring calf viral pneumonia, the cure rate is 96.67%, the effective rate is 28, 0,1 and 1, and the total effective rate is 96.67%. The control group heals, shows effect, is effective and ineffective respectively at 28 heads, 1 head, 0 head and 1 head, the cure rate is 93.33% respectively, and the total effective rate is 96.67%. The traditional Chinese medicine composition has the treatment effect on calf pneumonia, can relieve symptoms and reduce death rate. The traditional Chinese medicine composition can achieve the effects of treating diseases and improving survival rate, and has no obvious difference (P is more than 0.05) between clinical cure rate and total effective rate. No adverse reaction is found in the clinical test process, and the treatment effect is equivalent to that of florfenicol.
The embodiment and experimental example show that the traditional Chinese medicine composition has the functions of clearing heat and detoxicating, clearing lung and relieving cough, eliminating phlegm and relieving asthma and the like, and can effectively treat calf viral pneumonia.

The traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating calf viral pneumonia is characterized by comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 15-20 parts of gentian, 15-20 parts of cape jasmine, 15-20 parts of baical skullcap root, 10-15 parts of Chinese thorowax root, 25-35 parts of dried rehmannia root, 25-35 parts of plantain seed, 15-20 parts of oriental waterplantain rhizome, 25-35 parts of common akebia stem, 10-15 parts of Chinese angelica, 25-35 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizome, 15-20 parts of yam rhizome, 25-35 parts of dittany bark and 10-15 parts of honey-fried licorice root.

The traditional Chinese medicine composition according to claim 1, which is characterized by comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 16-19 parts of gentian, 16-19 parts of cape jasmine, 16-19 parts of baical skullcap root, 11-14 parts of Chinese thorowax root, 28-32 parts of dried rehmannia root, 28-32 parts of plantain seed, 16-19 parts of oriental waterplantain rhizome, 28-32 parts of common akebia stem, 11-14 parts of Chinese angelica, 28-32 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizome, 16-19 parts of yam rhizome, 28-32 parts of dittany bark and 11-14 parts of honey-fried licorice root.

The traditional Chinese medicine composition according to claim 1, which is characterized by comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 18 parts of gentian, 18 parts of cape jasmine, 18 parts of baical skullcap root, 12 parts of Chinese thorowax root, 30 parts of dried rehmannia root, 30 parts of plantain seed, 18 parts of oriental waterplantain rhizome, 30 parts of common akebia stem, 12 parts of Chinese angelica, 30 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizome, 18 parts of yam rhizome, 30 parts of dittany bark and 12 parts of honey-fried licorice root.
