The patient has obvious feeling when swallowing oral water due to the globus hystericus in the throat, has no abnormality or even remission when swallowing food, and has no obvious organic lesions when checking the throat or adjacent organs. Modern medicine considers gastroesophageal reflux disease, laryngopharyngeal reflux, pharyngeal neurosis, oesophageal dyskinesia, upper oesophageal sphincter dysfunction and the like as common causes for globus hystericus, chronic pharyngitis, pharyngeal innervation by vagus, glossopharyngeal, accessory nerves, trigeminal nerves, branches of cervical plexus and the like, the nerve endings are widely exposed at the pharyngeal, the nerve endings act as sensors, the sensory abnormality is sensitive, various organic lesions, mental factors and the like are stimulated, and receptor potential ion channels on the mucosal surfaces of the nerve endings are opened under the action of media, so that the pharyngeal abnormal sensation is generated.
In recent years, with the increase of modern life pressure, the disease rate of patients rises year by year, and the daily work and life quality of patients are seriously affected. The clinical treatment of western medicine mainly uses a basic prescription of Dailixin, oryzanol and vitamin B1 to play roles in relieving emotion, regulating autonomic nerve disorder and improving neuritis, and takes active psychological dispersion, and although the effect is relatively quick, a part of patients have poor effect or no curative effect, and the patients are easy to relapse after stopping the medicine, so that the thought burden of the patients is increased. The traditional Chinese medicine has unique knowledge on the disease, and the treatment of the disease is always emphasized by the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, the disease is combined with the treatment of the disease, the adverse reaction is less, the price is relatively low, but the traditional Chinese medicine formulas for treating the globus hystericus have the defects of low cure rate, incapability of radically treating and the like.
