背景技术
香味是洗衣过程的一个重要方面。消费者经常将香味与清洁相关联或简单地享受气味;因此,许多洗衣产品包含芳香剂。然而,芳香剂的所需量因消费者而异。因此,已开发出芳香剂颗粒以允许消费者基于他们的个人偏好定制他们的芳香剂体验。
芳香剂颗粒通常包括诸如芳香材料和载体材料的成分。常用的载体材料包括含有乙氧基化物基团的成分,诸如醇乙氧基化物和聚乙二醇成分。
芳香剂颗粒的颜色稳定性或美观性是芳香剂颗粒的重要特征。如果所述颗粒随时间改变它们的美观特性,则消费者可能将产品看成是次品。
已经观察到,包含含有乙氧基化物基团的成分的芳香剂颗粒在某些储存条件下可以表现出颜色变化。因此,需要确保芳香剂颗粒随时间的颜色稳定性。
发明内容
我们已发现,包含至少10重量%的载体材料的芳香剂颗粒提供增强的颜色稳定性,所述载体材料包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元。
在本发明的一个方面,提供了一种芳香剂颗粒组合物,其包含:
a)至少10重量%的载体材料,该载体材料包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元;和
b)芳香剂成分。
本发明进一步涉及制备芳香剂颗粒组合物的方法,其中所述方法包括以下步骤:
i.获得载体成分,所述载体成分包含至少一种衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物;
ii.熔化所述载体材料;
iii.添加芳香剂成分;
iv.使熔体成型和冷却。

通常,载体材料可以是在水中分散、溶解、崩解或增溶的任何材料。该组合物可以包含一种载体材料,或不同载体材料的组合。
芳香剂颗粒包含至少10重量%、更优选至少20重量%、甚至更优选至少50重量%、最优选至少60重量%、且优选小于98重量%的载体材料,该载体材料包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元。

优选的额外的载体材料可以选自:非生物质衍生的合成聚合物(例如,聚乙二醇、环氧乙烷/环氧丙烷嵌段共聚物、聚乙烯醇、聚乙酸乙烯酯及其衍生物)、多糖(例如,淀粉、黄原胶、纤维素或其衍生物)、糖类(例如,右旋糖、果糖、半乳糖、葡萄糖、异葡萄糖、蔗糖)、植物皂(例如,椰子皂珠粒或棕榈皂)、非生物质衍生的乙氧基化的非离子表面活性剂(具有式R1O(R2O)xH,其中R1优选包含12至20个碳原子,R2为C2H4、或C2H4和C3H6单元的混合物,且x=8至120)以及它们的组合。

糖类是包含碳、氢和氧的分子化合物。出于本发明的目的,糖被定义为包含1至10个单糖单元及其混合物。换句话说,是单糖或寡糖或其混合物。寡糖是短的糖聚合物,通常在本领域中被认为包含2至10个单糖单元。优选的是,糖包含1至5个单糖单元、更优选1至4个单糖单元,最优选地糖包含单糖、二糖或其混合物。二糖是两个单糖之间的反应产物。它们可以由两个相同的单糖或两个不同的单糖形成。二糖的实例包括:蔗糖、麦芽糖、乳糖。单糖是具有通式(CH2O)n的简单糖单元。通常n为3、5或6。因此,单糖可以通过数字n分类,例如:丙糖(例如,甘油醛)、戊糖(例如,核糖)和己糖(例如,果糖、葡萄糖和半乳糖)。一些单糖可以被另外的官能团取代,例如葡糖胺,其他单糖可以经历脱氧并失去氧原子,例如脱氧核糖。因此,化学通式可以根据单糖而略微变化。
本发明优选的单糖是己糖分子(n=6)。己糖分子全部具有相同的分子式,然而,却具有不同的结构式,即,它们是结构异构体。优选的是,己糖包含6元环而不是5元环。葡萄糖和半乳糖具有6元环。在优选实施方案中,己糖单糖是葡萄糖。葡萄糖是手性分子,是具有D和L立体异构体的混合物。特别优选地,本发明的葡萄糖是葡萄糖的D异构体,也称为右旋糖。
优选地,本发明中使用的糖材料是无水的,即不含任何水。例如,右旋糖一水合物含有一分子水,而无水右旋糖则不含。
用于本发明的合适糖类的非限制性实例是:购自Cargill的C*Dex、购自Cargill的Treha、购自FoodChem的无水右旋糖。
在本发明中使用糖时,由于糖的甜味,可以优选包括苦味材料,诸如购自JohnsonMatthey Fine Chemicals的Bitrex。
现代碳百分比(pMC)水平是基于测量放射性碳(C14)的水平,该放射性碳是在它所扩散的高层大气中产生的,从而提供在空气中的一般背景水平。一旦被捕获(例如被生物质捕获),C14的水平就随着时间的推移而降低,以这样的方式,C14的量会在45,000年后基本耗尽。因此,传统石化工业中使用的基于化石燃料的碳的C14水平几乎为零。
100%的pMC值表示100%的碳都来自生活在自然环境中的植物或动物副产品(生物质),而0%的值则表示所有碳都来自石化产品、煤炭和其他化石来源。0和100%之间的值表示混合物。该值越高,材料中天然来源的组分的比例就越大。
在一个实施方案中,包含至少一种衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物的载体材料优选具有50%至100%、优选75%至100%、最优选90%至100%的pMC。
pMC提供了碳来源的可测量指示。化石燃料基碳的使用以可测量的方式改变pMC,因此pMC可用作产品中的生态标记。
可以使用%生物基碳含量ASTM D6866-20方法B,使用国家标准与技术研究院(National Institute of Standards and Technology)(NIST)现代参考标准(SRM 4990C)来测量pMC水平。这种测量在本领域中是已知的并且在商业上进行,诸如由Beta AnalyticInc.(USA)进行。测量C14碳水平的技术是自几十年以来都已知的,并且是从碳年代测定法考古有机发现中最已知的。
本发明的组合物包含芳香剂成分,即游离的油芳香剂或非限定芳香剂和/或芳香剂微胶囊。
本发明的组合物可包含一种或多种芳香剂组合物。芳香剂组合物可以是游离芳香剂组合物的混合物,或是包封的和游离的油芳香剂组合物的混合物的形式。
优选地,本发明的组合物包含0.5至20重量%的芳香剂成分,更优选1至15重量%的芳香剂成分,最优选2至10重量%的芳香剂成分。芳香剂成分指的是组合的游离芳香剂和任何包封的芳香剂。
有用的芳香剂组分可以包括天然和合成来源的材料。它们包括单一化合物和混合物。此类组分的具体实例可在当前文献中找到,例如Fenaroli’sHandbook of FlavorIngredients,1975,CRC Press;M.B.Jacobs的Synthetic Food Adjuncts,1947,VanNostrand编辑;或S.Arctander的Perfume and Flavor Chemicals,1969,Montclair,N.J.(USA)。这些物质对于对消费品加香、调味和/或芳香化的领域的技术人员来说是众所周知的。
特别优选的芳香剂组分是释香性(blooming)芳香剂组分和实质性(substantive)芳香剂组分。释香性芳香剂组分由低于250℃的沸点和大于2.5的LogP限定。实质性芳香剂组分由大于250℃的沸点和大于2.5的LogP限定。优选地,芳香剂组合物可以包含释香性芳香剂组分和实质性芳香剂组分的混合物。芳香剂组合物可以包含其他芳香剂组分。
在游离油芳香剂组合物中存在多种芳香剂组分是常见的。在用于在本发明中使用的组合物中,设想存在三种或更多种、优选四种或更多种、更优选五种或更多种、最优选六种或更多种的不同芳香剂组分。可适用300种芳香剂成分的上限。
基于组合物的总重量,游离芳香剂可以优选以0.01至20重量%、更优选0.1至15重量%、更优选0.1至10重量%、甚至更优选0.1至6.0重量%、最优选0.5至6.0重量%的量存在。
优选地,一些芳香剂组分包含在微胶囊中。合适的包封材料可以包括但不限于:氨基塑料、蛋白质、聚氨酯、聚丙烯酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸酯、多糖、聚酰胺、聚烯烃、树胶、硅酮、脂类、改性纤维素、多磷酸盐、聚苯乙烯、聚酯或它们的组合。
微胶囊中所含的芳香剂组分可包含芳香性材料和/或芳香剂前体材料。
特别优选的芳香剂组分如针对游离芳香剂所描述的。
基于组合物的总重量,包封的芳香剂可以优选以0.01至20重量%、更优选0.1至15重量%、更优选0.1至10重量%、甚至更优选0.1至9.0重量%、最优选0.5至8.0重量%的量存在。
可任选地通过添加一种或多种着色剂向芳香剂颗粒提供颜色。着色剂包括一种或多种染料和/或颜料。该颜料/染料可以是任何颜色。这些可以是实质性或非实质性染料/颜料。对于实质性染料/颜料,优选蓝色或紫色。优选的水平是其中颜色是消费者可辨别的并且在美学上令人愉悦的水平。洗衣产品可以是多种颜色。
颜料可选自无机和有机颜料,最优选地颜料为有机颜料。
颜料描述于由G.Buxbaum和G.Pfaff编辑的Industrial Inorganic Pigments(第三版,Wiley-VCH 2005)中。合适的有机颜料描述于由W.Herbst和K.Hunger编辑的Industrial Organic Pigments(第三版,Wiley-VCH 2004)中。颜料列于颜色索引国际Society of Dyers and Colourists和美国纺织化学师与印染师协会(AmericanAssociation of Textile Chemists and Colorists)2002。

优选的颜料为颜料绿8、颜料蓝28、颜料黄1、颜料黄3、颜料橙1、颜料红4、颜料红3、颜料红22、颜料红112、颜料红7、颜料棕1、颜料红5、颜料红68、颜料红51、颜料53、颜料红53∶1、颜料红49、颜料红49∶1、颜料红49∶2、颜料红49∶3、颜料红64∶1、颜料红57、颜料红57∶1、颜料红48、颜料红63∶1、颜料黄16、颜料黄12、颜料黄13、颜料黄83、颜料橙13、颜料紫23、颜料红83、颜料蓝60、颜料蓝64、颜料橙43、颜料蓝66、颜料蓝63、颜料紫36、颜料紫19、颜料红122、颜料蓝16、颜料蓝15、颜料蓝15∶1、颜料蓝15∶2、颜料蓝15∶3、颜料蓝15∶4、颜料蓝15∶6、颜料绿7、颜料绿36、颜料蓝29、颜料绿24、颜料红101∶1、颜料绿17、颜料绿18、颜料绿14、颜料棕6、颜料蓝27和颜料紫16。
Cosmenyl绿、Cosmenyl黄、Cosmenyl蓝和Cosmenyl红是优选的市售颜料。
染料描述于K.Hunger编辑的Industrial Dyes 2003Wiley-VCH ISBN 3-527-30426-6中。
用于本发明的染料选自阳离子、阴离子和非离子染料。
染料可以是烷氧基化的。烷氧基化染料优选具有以下通式:染料-NR1R2。NR1R2基团与染料的芳环连接。R1和R2独立地选自具有2个或更多个重复单元并且优选具有2至20个重复单元的聚氧化烯链。聚氧化烯链的实例包括环氧乙烷、环氧丙烷、缩水甘油氧化物、环氧丁烷及其混合物。
优选地,染料选自酸性染料;分散染料和烷氧基化染料。
最优选地,染料是阴离子或非离子染料。甚至更优选染料是非离子染料。

染料可以与聚合物物质共价结合。
芳香剂颗粒可另外包含织物护理成分。这种织物护理成分包括硅酮、低水平的季铵化合物、酯油等。
本发明的组合物可含有其他任选的洗衣成分。此类成分包括着色物(colourant)、防腐剂、pH缓冲剂、芳香剂载体、助水溶物、聚电解质、抗收缩剂、抗氧化剂、防蚀剂、悬垂性赋予剂、防静电剂、熨烫助剂、消泡剂、着色剂、珠光剂和/或遮光剂、天然油/提取物、加工助剂例如电解质、卫生剂例如抗菌剂和抗真菌剂、增稠剂和皮肤有益剂。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,提供了一种制备芳香剂颗粒组合物的方法,其中所述方法包括以下步骤:
i.获得载体成分,所述载体成分包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元;
ii.熔化所述载体材料;
iii.添加芳香剂成分;
iv.使熔体成型和冷却。
芳香剂颗粒可以是任何固体形式,例如:粉末、丸粒、片剂、球粒、锭剂或挤出物。优选地,所述组合物为锭剂或挤出物的形式。锭剂例如可以使用购自Sandvick Materials的ROTOFORMER造粒系统制造。
本发明的芳香剂颗粒组合物可由熔体形成。固体组合物可以例如通过以下方式形成颗粒:成锭,如使用购自Sandvick Materials的ROTOFORMER、挤出、颗粒化、通过使用模具、铸造熔体并按尺寸切割或喷射熔体。
示例性制造方法可包括在高于该载体材料熔点,优选地高于载体材料的熔点至少2℃,更优选地高于载体材料的熔点至少5℃,优选高于载体材料熔点不超过20℃的温度下熔化载体材料(包括包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元的载体材料)。在使用多于一种的载体材料的情况下,熔点被认为是单个材料的最高熔点。一旦熔化,芳香剂和其他成分就可以混合到组合物中。随后是熔体冷却和成形的过程,例如挤出或成锭(Pastillation)。
本发明的芳香剂颗粒组合物优选是均质结构的。均质是指在整个固体产品中存在连续相。没有核壳类型的结构。任何存在的颗粒诸如芳香剂微胶囊可以分布在连续相内。连续相主要由载体材料提供。
芳香剂颗粒组合物可以是适合于在洗衣过程中溶解的任何形状或尺寸。优选地,固体组合物的每个单独颗粒具有在0.95mg至5g之间、更优选0.01g至1g、最优选0.02g至0.5g的质量。优选地,每个单独颗粒具有10mm、更优选1-8mm、最优选4-6mm的在任何方向上的最大线性尺寸。颗粒的形状可以例如选自球形、半球形、压缩半球形、扁豆形、长圆形(oblong)或平面形状(诸如花瓣)。颗粒的优选形状是半球形,即圆顶形,其中圆顶的高度小于基底的半径。当颗粒被压缩成半球形时,优选的是基本平坦的基底的直径提供最大线性尺寸,并且颗粒的高度为1-5mm,更优选2-3mm。本发明的颗粒的尺寸可以使用卡尺测量。
优选地,芳香剂颗粒被包装在容器中。当容器是塑料时,优选地,容器包括回收塑料,特别是PCR。“消费后树脂(PCR)”通常指经由已建立的消费品再循环流收集,分类,洗涤和再加工成例如丸粒的塑料。
在本发明的一个方面,提供了包含至少一种衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物的成分用于改善芳香剂颗粒的颜色稳定性的用途。改善的颜色稳定性可以通过颜色变化来测量。越稳定,颜色变化越小。该测量可以简单地通过视觉评估进行,或者可以使用UV Vis光谱测定法诸如由X-rite生产的光谱仪,特别是型号VS450进行测量。着色剂不需要看到颜色变化。颜色变化可以简单地是白色(未着色)芳香剂颗粒的黄化。
另外,本发明提供如本文所述的芳香剂颗粒通过使用生物质而不是原始化石燃料来减少产品的碳足迹的用途。生物质是可再生来源,并且有助于循环碳经济。包含至少一种衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物的成分的使用为消费者提供了产品中的有形生态标记。因此,本发明的一个方面提供了包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元的成分作为芳香剂颗粒组合物中的有形生态标记物的用途。

实施例
本文证明了使用生物质衍生的载体材料而不是原始石化产品衍生的材料的效果。

芳香剂微胶囊4-所提供的重量
在搅拌下在混合容器中加热PEG,直到熔融和均匀。然后在搅拌下缓慢加入右旋糖。在加入芳香剂、随后是包封的芳香剂期间保持搅拌。然后使用2ml移液管将混合物滴在冷的不锈钢表面上,并使其冷却。
为了测试颜色稳定性,将芳香剂颗粒储存在50℃下。在提供基线的0周,在4周、8周和13周进行颜色测量。通过比较陈化样品与0周样品的ΔE值来评估颜色。使用CIELAB色空间计算ΔE,其中每种颜色具有L*,a*和b*值,并且
ΔE*ab=√(L*2-L*1)+(a*2-a*1)+(b*2-b*1)

Claims (14)
1.一种芳香剂颗粒组合物,其包含:
a)至少10重量%的载体材料,所述载体材料选自醇乙氧基化物、聚乙二醇及它们的组合,所述载体材料包含至少一个衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物单元;和
b)芳香剂成分。
2.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中成分a)中至少50重量%的所述乙氧基化物单元衍生自生物质。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中成分a)中小于90重量%的所述乙氧基化物单元直接获自原始化石燃料源。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中成分a)为醇乙氧基化物。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中成分a)为分子量为2000至20000的聚乙二醇。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中所述生物质为植物生物质。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中所述生物质为纤维素材料。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中包含至少一种衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物的所述载体材料具有50%至100%的pMC。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中所述芳香剂颗粒包含额外的载体材料,所述额外的载体材料选自:非生物质衍生的合成聚合物、蛋白质、糖类、多糖、水溶性或水分散性填料、植物皂、非生物质衍生的乙氧基化的非离子表面活性剂、脲以及它们的组合。
10.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中所述芳香剂成分包含游离的芳香剂。
11.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中所述芳香剂成分包含包封的芳香剂。
12.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的芳香剂颗粒,其中所述芳香剂颗粒还包含着色剂。
13.一种制备芳香剂颗粒组合物的方法,其中所述方法包括以下步骤:
i.获得载体成分,所述载体成分包含至少一种衍生自生物质的乙氧基化物;
ii.熔化所述载体材料;
iii.添加芳香剂成分;
iv.使熔体成型和冷却。
14.根据权利要求1至12所述的芳香剂颗粒用于减少所述芳香剂颗粒的碳足迹的用途。
