Description

Skin conditioner composition and method of making the same
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of cosmetics, in particular to a skin conditioner composition and a preparation method thereof.
Background
When retinol or retinol esters penetrate the skin, they are gradually metabolized to retinoic acid under the oxidative action of enzymes, which in turn acts to promote epidermal cell turnover. Retinoic acid is slowly released on the skin through the metabolic process, so that the skin is prevented from being strongly stimulated, and the effect of activating cell renewal is achieved. Retinol and its derivatives have effects of preventing collagen decomposition and stimulating skin fibroblast to synthesize collagen, and can be applied to skin to exert antiaging effect.
However, retinol has poor stability and is easily decomposed by light and heat, especially under the action of ultraviolet rays, and is more easily catalyzed and decomposed; in addition, retinol has lipid solubility and poor solubility in water. Thus, retinol has disadvantages of instability and low availability in cosmetics, and cannot be stably present in cosmetics and slowly released on the skin.
Accordingly, improvements are needed in the art.
Disclosure of Invention
In the prior art, retinol has the defects of instability and low utilization rate in cosmetics, and cannot be stably existing in the cosmetics and slowly released on the skin, so the invention provides a skin conditioner composition and a preparation method thereof, which are used for solving the problems.

the weight percentage content of the retinol compound is 0.001-10%;
the retinol-like compounds include retinol and/or derivatives of retinol;
the oil is immiscible with the polydimethylsiloxane, which is the continuous phase;
the oil is mutually dissolved with the retinol and/or the retinol derivative to form a disperse phase, so as to form oil globules, and the particle size of the oil globules is 90-2000 microns.
In one implementation, the oil has a density of 0.810 to 0.970.
In one implementation, the polydimethylsiloxane has a viscosity of 0 to 2000 mpa.s.
In one implementation, the oil comprises any one or more of peony seed oil, macadamia nut seed oil, sandalwood seed oil, white pool flower seed oil, berk seed oil, rosewood seed oil, wild soybean oil, cranberry seed oil, spiny tree seed oil, avocado oil, olive fruit oil, monkey seed oil, grape seed oil, and jojoba seed oil.
In one implementation, the skin conditioner composition further comprises an antioxidant comprising any one or more of pentaerythritol tetrakis (di-t-butylhydroxyhydrocinnamate), tocopherol, tocopheryl acetate, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, bakuchiol, phytol, and dimethylmethoxychromanol.

In one implementation, the skin conditioning composition further comprises a conditioning agent comprising one or more of lactic acid, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, essential oils, and fragrances.
In one implementation, the skin conditioning composition further comprises a viscosity modifier comprising hydroxyethylcellulose or carbomers.
In a second aspect, the present invention also provides a method of preparing a skin conditioning composition for use in preparing the above skin conditioning composition, comprising the steps of:
s1, adding a regulator and a stabilizer into polydimethylsiloxane, and heating to dissolve and uniformly mix the regulator and the stabilizer; wherein, the weight percentage of the regulator is 0.01-2 percent, and the weight percentage of the stabilizer is 0-2 percent;
s2, placing the retinol compound into oil, and mixing until the retinol compound is completely dissolved;
s3, slowly adding a solution containing retinol compounds into the polydimethylsiloxane solution, and continuously stirring at the same time to fully mix the two substances;
s4, cooling the mixed solution to room temperature to form an oil gel system;
s5, after the oil gel system is formed, adding a thickening agent and a preservative to obtain a required skin conditioning composition; wherein the weight percentage of the thickening agent is 0.05-2%, and the weight percentage of the preservative is 0-2%.
In one implementation mode, in the step S1, the temperature is heated to 80-90 ℃, and the stabilizer comprises any one of an emulsifier, an antioxidant, a preservative and a viscosity regulator.
The beneficial effects are that: the skin conditioner composition provided by the invention forms a disperse phase by setting oil to be mutually soluble with the retinol and/or the retinol derivative to form oil globules, so that the retinol and/or the retinol derivative is at least partially wrapped by the oil and is jointly dispersed in polydimethylsiloxane with the oil, the direct and complete contact between the disperse oil phase containing retinol and an oxidizing environment can be effectively avoided, and the activity loss of retinol or retinol derivative is reduced; retinol and/or retinol derivatives and oil are dispersed in polydimethylsiloxane to form tiny particle oil beads, so that the tiny particle oil beads existing in the tiny particle oil beads can be visually seen, and the tiny particle oil beads have attractive appearance; a skin conditioner composition is provided which has good appearance, good stability of retinol compounds and convenient preservation.
