As described in the background art, in the related art, a plurality of targets for media information delivery, for example, ROI targets and activation cost targets, are satisfied by buying a pay-per-view user, however, buying only a pay-per-view user results in unaware of the activation cost of the active user, and thus buying only a pay-per-view user essentially satisfies only the ROI targets and fails to satisfy the activation cost targets. And because the people who pay easily are not easy to activate, buying only the paid users can lead to very few activated users who can buy, and then lead to the whole number of users who buy after the end of the delivery period of the media information not to reach the standard.
In view of this, the present disclosure discloses a media information delivery method, apparatus, medium, and electronic device, which adjusts the media information delivery policy of the ROI plan and the activation plan by each period in the delivery period of the media information, so as to simultaneously adjust the number of paid users and the number of activated users. The total ROI target and the activation cost target of the delivery period of the media information can be simultaneously met by adjusting the number of different types of users, and the target of the activation quantity can be met.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a media information delivery method according to an exemplary embodiment, and referring to fig. 1, the method includes the steps of:
step 110, a total ROI target and an activation cost target for a delivery period of media information are obtained.
The media information may be information that is displayed on the terminal device in the form of characters, images, movies, sounds, moving pictures, and the like. For example, the media information may include advertisements. ROI (Return On Investment ) refers to the value returned by investment, i.e., the economic return from an investment activity, i.e., the ratio of the obtained revenue to the input cost, and the ROI in the media information delivery is the yield ratio of the media information. The total ROI target may refer to the lowest ROI reached after the end of the delivery period.
For example, taking the media information delivery in the game field as an example, the activation refers to the downloading and installation of the user and the opening of the game, and the activation cost refers to the consumption/activation amount of the media information, wherein the activation amount refers to the number of the activated users, and the activation cost target refers to the overall activation cost in the delivery period, that is, the highest activation cost reached after the delivery period is finished.
In a possible manner, the total ROI target and the activation cost target set by the media information master may be determined as the total ROI target and the activation cost target of the delivery cycle. By way of example, the media information master may be a user who needs to deliver media information, for example, a game manufacturer or a game carrier, etc.
Step 120, for each period in the delivery period, according to the media information delivery result of the period, adjusting the media information delivery strategy of the ROI plan and the activation plan of the period, so that the actual total ROI obtained according to the adjusted media information delivery strategy reaches the total ROI target, and the actual activation cost obtained according to the adjusted media information delivery strategy is less than the activation cost target; wherein the media information corresponding to the ROI plan is used to adjust the number of activated and paid users and the media information corresponding to the activation plan is used to adjust the number of activated and unpaid users.
For example, the delivery period of the media information may be specifically determined according to the actual situation, for example, the delivery period may be 1 week, 1 month, etc., which is not limited herein. The period in the delivery period may be specifically determined according to actual requirements, for example, the period may be 5 hours or 1 day. In a possible manner, the time period is 1 day, then the present disclosure may adjust the ROI schedule and the media information delivery strategy of the activation schedule daily in the delivery period.
In some embodiments, the media information delivery policy may be a delivery policy of media information corresponding to the ROI plan and the activation plan, the media information delivery policy being used to determine how to combine the media information of the ROI plan and the activation plan. The media information corresponding to the ROI plan is used to adjust the number of activated and paid users (hereinafter, paid users), and the media information corresponding to the activation plan is used to adjust the number of activated and unpaid users (hereinafter, active users). For the server perspective, the media information corresponding to the ROI plan is used for buying the paid users, and the media information corresponding to the activation plan is used for buying the activated users, it is understood that the media information delivery policies of the ROI plan and the activation plan of the present disclosure may be used to adjust the number of paid users and activated users purchased.
The present disclosure adjusts the media information delivery strategy of the ROI plan and the activation plan for each period in the delivery cycle of the media information, that is, adjusts the number of paid users and activated users so that the actual total ROI reaches the total ROI target and the actual activation cost is less than the activation cost target. By adjusting different types of users, the ROI target and the activation cost target can be simultaneously met, and the number of the activated users can be adjusted through the activation plan, so that the requirement of the activation quantity can be met.
In some embodiments, the media information delivery results may be actual delivery results obtained by the media information delivery platform according to the ROI plan for the period and the media information delivery strategy for the activation plan. In a possible manner, the media information delivery result may deliver a first actual ROI planned by the ROI and a second actual ROI planned by the activation plan; according to the media information delivery result of the period, adjusting the media information delivery strategy of the ROI plan and the activation plan of the period, including: and adjusting the media information delivery strategy of the ROI plan and the activation plan of the period according to the first actual ROI and the second actual ROI of the period.
Illustratively, the first actual ROI is an actual ROI that the media information delivery platform delivers the ROI plan to be taken during the time period, and the second actual ROI is an actual ROI that the media information delivery platform delivers the activation plan to be taken during the time period. It can be appreciated that if the second period is 3 rd day, the first actual ROI obtained on 3 rd day is the actual ROI of the ROI plan accumulated on 1 st-2 nd day, and the second actual ROI is similar and will not be described herein.
In some embodiments, the second actual ROI may reflect the actual activation cost incurred by the delivery activation plan. The second actual ROI may be obtained by the following formula (1), for example:
wherein, ROI BB2 For the second actual ROI, F BB2 Payment for activation plansAmount of G BB2 To activate the planned media information consumption, e.g., activate the planned advertisement consumption, the actual activation cost of the AA activation plan, D is the number of conversions of the activation plan.
From equation (1) above, it is known that the actual activation cost of the activation plan directly affects the second actual ROI of the activation plan. According to the method and the device, the media information delivery strategy is adjusted through the first actual ROI and the second actual ROI, the ROI plan and the activation plan are adjusted by adopting indexes of the same dimension (namely, all the ROI indexes are adopted), the actual total ROI can reach the total ROI target at the same time, the actual activation cost is smaller than the activation cost target, and the media information delivery of the activation plan is not required to be adjusted independently according to the actual activation cost, so that the strategy adjustment mode is simple and efficient.
In some embodiments, the media information delivery of the ROI plan and the activation plan may be adjusted normally based on the first actual ROI and the second actual ROI. In a possible manner, adjusting the media information delivery strategy of the ROI plan and the activation plan of the period according to the first actual ROI and the second actual ROI of the period, including: increasing a first initial budget of the activation plan in the period and decreasing a second initial budget of the ROI plan in the period under the condition that the first actual ROI is larger than a first threshold and the second actual ROI is larger than a second threshold, so as to adjust the media information delivery strategy according to the increased first initial budget and the decreased second initial budget; reducing a first initial budget of the activation plan for the period and increasing a second initial budget of the ROI plan for the period when the first actual ROI is less than a first threshold and/or the second actual ROI is less than a second threshold, so as to adjust the media information delivery strategy according to the reduced first initial budget and the increased second initial budget; the first threshold and the second threshold together enable the actual total ROI obtained by the adjusted media information delivery strategy to reach a total ROI target, and the second threshold is used for enabling the actual activating cost obtained by the adjusted media information delivery strategy to be smaller than an activating cost target.
In some embodiments, a first threshold is used to increase the actual total ROI by a first actual ROI greater than the total ROI target, and a second threshold is used to decrease the actual total ROI by a second actual ROI not less than the total ROI target, the first and second thresholds together bringing the actual total ROI to the total ROI target. In some embodiments, the second threshold may be used to cause the adjusted media information delivery strategy to result in an actual activation cost that is less than the activation cost target, as the actual activation cost may directly impact the second actual ROI of the activation plan.
The first threshold value and the second threshold value may be predetermined according to actual conditions, and the first threshold value and the second threshold value may be the same or different for each period. In a possible manner, the first threshold is a total ROI target of a first preset multiple, the first preset multiple being greater than 1, the second threshold is a total ROI target of a second preset multiple, the second preset multiple being less than 1. Illustratively, a first threshold = K1 ROI B K1 is a first preset multiple, ROI B K1 > 1 for the total ROI target; second threshold = k2 ROI B K2 is a second preset multiple, ROI B K2 < 1 for the total ROI target. K1 and K2 may be specifically determined according to practical situations, for example, K1 is 1.2, K2 is 0.8, or K1 is 1.1, and K2 is 0.9.
In some embodiments, the first actual ROI may be obtained by the following equation (2):
wherein, ROI BB1 For the first actual ROI, F BB1 Payment amount planned for ROI, G BB1 Media information consumption for the ROI plan, e.g., advertisement consumption for the ROI plan.
In some embodiments, the actual total ROI may be obtained by the following equation (3):
wherein, ROI BB For the actual total ROI, F BB1 Payment amount planned for ROI, F BB2 To activate the planned payment amount G BB1 Media information intended for ROIConsumption, G BB2 To activate the planned media information consumption. It will be appreciated that the payment amount of the ROI plan is the payment amount of the payment user who purchased through the delivery of the media information of the ROI plan, and the payment amount of the activation plan is the payment amount of the activation user who purchased through the delivery of the media information of the activation plan.
As can be seen from the above formula (2), the first actual ROI increases, mainly due to the increase of the payment amount of the ROI plan, and in combination with the above formula (3), the first actual ROI will increase the actual total ROI, and therefore the first actual ROI of the period is larger than the first threshold (i.e. larger than the total ROI target), which characterizes the payment amount of the ROI plan is very high, in which case the numerator of formula (3) is very large, such that the actual total ROI is larger than the ROI target.
Since the payment amount of the active user purchased by the active schedule is very small, the payment amount of the active schedule approaches 0, and it is known from the above formula (1) that the second actual ROI decreases mainly due to the increase of the media information consumption of the active schedule, and correspondingly, according to the above formula (3), the second actual ROI decreases to cause the actual total ROI to decrease.
Therefore, when the first actual ROI is greater than the first threshold, the actual total ROI will be greater than the ROI target, and since the adjusted delivery strategy only needs to reach the ROI target, the first initial budget of the activation plan in the period can be increased to increase the media information delivery of the activation plan and reduce the actual total ROI when the first actual ROI is greater than the first threshold, so that the actual total ROI reaches the ROI target. At the same time, by the second actual ROI being greater than the second threshold, it is ensured that the activation plan will not pull the actual total ROI down to less than the ROI target.
The method and the device increase the first initial budget of the activation plan in the period only when the first actual ROI is larger than the first threshold value and the second actual ROI is larger than the second threshold value, and the first threshold value and the second threshold value jointly enable the total actual ROI to reach the ROI target, so that the budget of the activation plan is increased only on the premise that the total actual ROI reaches the ROI target, and the actual total ROI can be guaranteed to reach the standard preferentially.
The first actual ROI being smaller than the first threshold and/or the second actual ROI being smaller than the second threshold, the actual total ROI for the time period may be characterized as being smaller than the ROI target, at which time a first initial budget for the activation plan for the time period may be reduced and a second initial budget for the ROI plan for the time period may be increased to reduce the delivery of media information for the activation plan based on the reduced first initial budget and to increase the delivery of media information for the ROI plan based on the increased second initial budget to increase the actual total ROI such that the actual total ROI can reach the ROI target.
In some embodiments, the first initial budget and the second initial budget of the activation plan and the ROI plan for the period may be determined according to the actual ROIs of the activation plan and the ROI plan, respectively, and specific details regarding determining the first initial budget and the second initial budget may be found in fig. 2 and the related description thereof, which are not described herein.
In a possible manner, multiple activation plans and multiple ROI plans may be launched per time period, and the media information delivery platform may obtain a real-time data stream of the ROI plan, supporting shutdown of the ROI plan. In some embodiments, the media information delivery results may include delivering the actual ROIs planned for each ROI, the method further comprising: and determining a target ROI plan of which the actual ROI does not meet the preset condition from the ROI plan, and stopping media information delivery of the target ROI plan. The preset condition may be specifically determined according to the actual requirement, for example, the preset condition may be that the actual ROI is greater than a preset value. According to the method and the device, the target ROI plan which does not accord with the preset condition is shut down, so that waste of resources caused by the ROI plan with poor effect can be avoided.
FIG. 2 is a flow chart illustrating determining a first initial budget and a second initial budget, according to an exemplary embodiment, referring to FIG. 2, including the steps of:
step 210, the total budget for the period is obtained.
Step 220, determining a budget ratio for the ROI plan and the activation plan based on a first difference between the first actual ROI and the total ROI target and a second difference between the total ROI target and the second actual ROI.
Step 230, based on the budget proportion and the total budget, determining a second initial budget for the ROI plan for the period and a first initial budget for the activation plan for the period.
In some embodiments, the total budget for the period may be determined from the total budget of the dosing period, e.g. may be a total budget determined for each period from the total budget of the dosing period, such as a daily budget.
In some embodiments, the budget ratio may be obtained by the following equation (4):
wherein B is the budget ratio, B2 is the second initial budget of the ROI plan, ROI BB1 For the first actual ROI of the ROI plan, the ROI B For the total ROI target, ROI BB2 To activate the planned second actual ROI, B1 is the first initial budget for the activation plan.
After determining the budget ratio, a second initial budget for the ROI plan and a first initial budget for the activation plan may be derived from the product of the budget ratio and the total budget occupied by each of the ROI plan and the activation plan.
In some embodiments, the first period of the delivery cycle is an initial state in which the ROI plan and the activation plan are not delivered temporarily, and the estimated actual ROI may be determined for the ROI plan and the activation plan, respectively, for determining the second initial budget for delivering the media information of the ROI plan for the first period, and the first initial budget for delivering the media information of the activation plan.
In a possible manner, the method further comprises: in the case that the period is the first period, the first actual ROI and the second actual ROI are a first preset value and a second preset value, respectively, the first preset value being greater than the total ROI target and the second preset value being less than the total ROI target. For example, the first preset value may be K1 ROI B The second preset value may be K2 ROI B Regarding K1 ROI B And K2 ROI B Reference may be made to the relevant description in fig. 1, and details are not repeated here.
Referring to fig. 3, the media information delivery platform adjusts the media information delivery policies of the ROI plan and the activation plan for each of the delivery period n days, for example. As shown in fig. 3, the media information delivery platform will first acquire the entered activation cost target, total ROI target, and daily budget, then, on the first day in the delivery cycle, use the estimated ROI of the activation plan and the estimated ROI of the ROI plan to allocate the budget, and create the activation plan and the ROI plan by the budgets allocated by the two plans respectively. In some embodiments, an activation plan may be created based on an activation plan delivery objective and a first initial budget on day 1, the activation plan delivery objective may include an actual activation cost less than the activation cost objective and a second actual ROI ≡k2×b of the activation plan. In some embodiments, an ROI plan may be created based on the ROI plan delivery target and a second initial budget on day 1, the ROI plan delivery target including a first actual ROI of the ROI plan ≡K1×B.
Finally, on any of the 2 nd-n days of the dosing cycle, budget allocation is performed according to the actual ROI of the activation plan accumulated from day 1 to the day before and the actual ROI of the ROI plan accumulated from day 1 to the day before, and the activation plan and the ROI plan are adjusted by the budgets allocated by the two plans respectively. Specific details regarding budget allocation and adjustment activation plans and ROI plans may be found in the relevant description of fig. 1 above, and are not repeated here.
