这种蒸发器尤其是用于汽车驾驶室的空调设备中,以冷却要进入驾驶室的空气流,空气中的热量传递给冷却液,使其在蒸发器内汽化。
通过小室间的空气中通常都含有水分,这些水分易于聚集在蒸发器较冷的部分,一般位于气流的下游。凝结的水特别容易在小室与隔板接触的地方汇聚。
本发明的目的就是要克服这一缺陷,并利于排出冷凝水。
本发明尤其适用于上述的蒸发器,其小室向着气流的下游突出到隔板以外,并具有基本垂直的下游边,以引导附着在其上的积水。
冷凝水因此不再与隔板接触,它们全部沿小室的下游边自然向下流动,并可被收集到其下部的收集器中。
根据本发明的一个可选的特性,每个小室由两个相对页板形成,两页板在连接区密封连接,限定一内部的空间,使得冷却液可在中间循环,两个页板在隔板下游从基本垂直的一条连接线开始彼此张开成沟槽形,直到各自的基本垂直的边缘。
本发明的特征和优点在下面结合附图详细介绍,此唯一的附图是本发明蒸发器的剖视图。
本发明的蒸发器具有通常已知的结构,它具有一在图中自左至右排列的多个叠置小室1。每一小室分别由图中所示的薄金属板2、3形成,其剖面为波浪形,以交替形成连接区4和凸起部5,在连接区,两页板相对贴靠密封连接,在凸起部,两页板相对离开,以限定使冷却液从图中的前方向后方、即垂直于蒸发器的使用方向循环流动的管道。在最后的连接区4之外,朝向图中上方,两页板2和3相互张开形成直线形的垂直自由边7和8,以构成一垂直的沟槽9。同样,在朝向图的下方的最后连接区4以外,两页板分别张开形成直线形的垂直自由边7和8,以构成一垂直沟槽9。小室1由波浪形隔板13分开,隔板上开有百叶窗14,以在图中沿箭头F方向自下而上的气流中产生紊流,小室之间设置隔板13。
以同样公知的方式,隔板13在气流进入的一端一直伸展到小室页板2和3的边10和11。相反,在气流出口一端,也就是图中上方,隔板13缩进页板2和3的边7和8一段距离d。因此,附在位于隔板以外的小室下游端部区的冷凝水就不会与隔板接触,并能够毫无阻碍地沿小室下游边流动并收集到图中未示出的位于下方的容器中。

Claims (2)

1.一种蒸发器,它包括一系列流通冷却液并使其由液态变为气态的叠置扁平小室(1),它们在其至少一部分表面上彼此由间隔分开,空气流在基本水平垂直于小室叠置的方向上,穿过小室壁板,流过小室之间的间隔并与冷却液热接触,在小室间隔中设有隔板(13),以保证其厚度和/或改善小室与空气流之间的热交换,其特征在于,小室向着气流的下游突出到隔板以外,并具有基本垂直的下游边(9),以引导附在其上的积水。
2.根据权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其特征在于,每个小室由两个相对的页板(2、3)构成,两页板在连接区(4)密封连接,限定一内部的空间(6),使得冷却液可在其中流动循环,两个页板在隔板下游从一基本垂直的连接线开始直到各自的基本垂直的边缘(7、8),彼此分开成一沟槽形。
