Background
Such a motor vehicle side door is known from DE 10 2006 037 594 A1. The motor vehicle side door has a body-in-white body part, the window opening of which can be closed by means of a lowerable window sheet. The window sheets may be masked by a flexible masking structure implemented as a roller blind track (Rollobahn). A drive system is associated with the roller blind track to displace the roller blind track between a standby position for opening the window sheet and a screening position for screening the window sheet. The roller blind track is associated with the window pane on the inner side facing the vehicle interior space.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to create a motor vehicle side door of the type mentioned above which can be produced reliably with little outlay in terms of functions.
This task is solved by: a double-shelled module housing is provided for accommodating the at least one screening arrangement and the screening arrangement guide system, which has an outer housing shell which closes off in a watertight manner with a wet space formed on the inner side of the door body-in-white part on a side of the door body-in-white part directed outwards from the inner side of the door body-in-white part, the window sheet being arranged in its open position in the wet space. According to the solution of the invention, all functional components that are pre-assembled for the functional setting of the screening arrangement are realized in a simple manner. The person skilled in the art will understand watertight sealing as such a sealing function between a wet space, in which the lowerable window sheet is operated, and a dry space, to which the functional components provided on the vehicle interior space side are assigned, for an existing motor vehicle side door. Penetration of water from the outside into the vehicle interior must be avoided. The module housing of the double shell encloses the shielding structure and the functional components of the shielding structure guiding system, so that the respective functional components are arranged in a protected manner. The functional components can be completely preloaded at least to a large extent in the double-shell module housing. The outer housing shell forms a separating wall between the wet space and the dry space of the motor vehicle side door. The drying space is at least to a large extent formed by the interior of the double shell module housing. The solution according to the invention is particularly advantageously suitable for side doors in the rear seat area of a passenger vehicle. However, the motor vehicle side door according to the invention can also be used for other types of motor vehicles.
In a further embodiment of the invention, at least one functional component of the window guide system is arranged outside the outer housing shell. A further improved possibility of preassembly can thereby be achieved. In particular, as a functional component, a longitudinal guide for the carrier slider of the window pane is provided.
In a further embodiment of the invention, at least one functional component of the screening arrangement guiding system is arranged on the inside of the outer housing shell. The at least one functional component of the screening arrangement guiding system can thus be pre-loaded partly at the outer housing shell before it is connected to the door body-in-white component. In particular, as functional component, a longitudinal guide for the carrier slide of the screening arrangement is provided.
In a further embodiment of the invention, an inner housing shell is provided which is directed to the vehicle interior, said inner housing shell being joined to the outer housing shell in the formation of a drying space in which the at least one shielding structure is arranged in its standby position. The inner housing shell and the outer housing shell form a double-shell module housing.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the at least one shielding structure is configured as a dimensionally stable shielding sheet. Preferably, two shielding structures are provided, one of which serves as a main shielding structure for shielding a main window pane of a motor vehicle side door and the other as an auxiliary shielding structure, likewise provided in the form of a dimensionally stable shielding pane, for shielding an auxiliary window of a motor vehicle side door, in particular a triangular window.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the outer housing shell and the inner housing shell are designed as plastic components. This enables the functional component or the holder for the functional component to be molded in one piece at the housing shell.
In a further embodiment of the invention, at least one linear guide element for the at least one screening arrangement is molded in one piece on the inside of the outer housing shell and another linear guide element for the window pane is molded in one piece on the outside of the outer housing shell. Advantageously, both the outer housing shell and the inner housing shell are designed as thermoplastic plastic components, whereby one-piece molding of the linear guide part is made possible in a particularly simple manner.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the linear guide is embodied as a longitudinal contour for guiding the carrier slide for the window pane and the at least one masking pane, respectively. The longitudinal profiles are preferably embodied in the form of grooves or webs (or as webs, i.e. as step-over), so that the respective carrier slide for the window pane on the one hand and for the at least one masking pane on the other hand can be positively supported on the respective longitudinal profile in order to achieve the desired linear guidance.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the electric drive unit is mounted on the inside of the outer housing shell. The electric drive unit is preferably used not only for driving the at least one screening arrangement but also for driving the window pane. The arrangement of the electric drive unit inside the outer housing shell means that the electric drive unit is arranged in the drying space. This ensures a particularly good functional safety for the electric drive unit. Preferably, a coupling system is associated with the electric drive unit, which coupling system enables a driven coupling of the window pane to the at least one screening arrangement, advantageously as described in DE 10 2021 204 275.9. The electric drive unit comprises an electric motor and a transmission following the electric motor. The drive transmission system, preferably a pull cord system, facilitates transmission of the driving force of the driving unit to the respective carrier slider for the at least one screening arrangement and the window pane.
In a further embodiment of the invention, a rope guiding system for displacing at least one screening structure in the drying space and a further rope guiding system for displacing the window pane in the wet space are provided, wherein both rope guiding systems are directly or indirectly coupled with the electric drive unit. The corresponding rope guiding system is also called a pull rope system. The pull-cord system comprises at least one pull cord, which may be embodied as a metal wire cord or a plastic wire cord, and a plurality of cords and deflection rollers, which are rotatably supported on the inside or outside of one of the two housing shells of the double-housing module housing.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the inner housing shell has at least one mounting opening, which is provided for enabling the functional components of the screening arrangement guide system to be mounted or adjusted when the module housing is closed. At least one mounting opening in the inner housing shell can be accessed from the inside of the motor vehicle side door facing the vehicle interior space and can be introduced into the interior of the module housing even when the module housing is closed. In order to gain access to the interior housing shell, the door trim must first be removed after the motor vehicle side door has been completely installed. The inner housing shell preferably has fastening points in order to be able to fasten the door trim to the inner housing shell, as long as the door trim is not directly connected to the inner side of the body-in-white part.

Detailed Description
The passenger vehicle has two rear-seat-side doors 1 in the rear seat region, wherein the left side door 1 is shown by means of fig. 1 to 3, viewed in the normal driving direction of the passenger vehicle. In the installed state ready for operation, the side door 1 is attached on the front side in a swingable manner with a B pillar of a vehicle body of the passenger vehicle. The side door 1 has a door body-in-white body part 2 which is provided with a body skin on the outside and is limited on the inside facing the vehicle interior by a door trim 9 facing the vehicle interior. The door body-in-white body part 2 has a window opening 3 above the vehicle sill (or vehicle window sill, i.e. fahrzeugbri stung), which can be closed and opened by a main window sheet 5. A triangular window 4, which is provided with a fixed window pane, is attached in the vehicle longitudinal direction back to the window opening 3. The main window sheet 5 for closing the window opening 3 is supported movably in the vehicle height direction between an open position for opening the window opening 3 and a closed position for closing the window opening 3. In the region of the body-in-white part 2, a guide section, not shown in detail, is provided for laterally guiding the window pane 5 in the vehicle height direction.
In the open position, the main window pane 5 is lowered almost completely into the wet space of the door body-in-white part 2 at the vehicle sill. As can be seen from fig. 1, the wet space is provided with an opening 10 toward the vehicle interior, which is delimited by the circumferential edge contour of the inner skin of the body-in-white part 2. The opening 10 at the door inner side of the door body-in-white part 2 is closed by the outer housing shell 7 of the double-shell module housing, wherein the outer housing shell 7 has a circumferential edge region 11 which is connected to the edge contour of the opening 10 of the door body-in-white part 2 in an exactly matching manner in order to bring about an at least largely watertight closure of the wet space in the region of the opening 10 towards the vehicle interior. The circumferential edge contour 11 may additionally be provided with a seal to further improve the sealing effect of the housing shell 7 through the outside of the module housing in the edge contour region of the opening 10 (see fig. 3).
The outer housing shell 7 is designed as a one-piece plastic component and has a linear contour 14 extending in the vehicle height direction on the outside, i.e. on the outside of the housing shell 7 facing the door skin. Along these linear contours 14, which are integrally molded into the housing shell, a carrier slide, not shown in detail, for the main window pane 5 is mounted so as to be linearly movable in the vehicle height direction. Therefore, the main window sheet 5 is held at the housing case 7 movably in the vehicle height direction on the outside of the outer housing case 7.
On the inside, the housing shell 7 has an inwardly projecting, one-piece molded linear contour 13, which is provided for the linear guidance of the dimensionally stable shielding structure 6. The linear contour 13 also extends in the vehicle height direction, wherein the linear contour 13 is preferably formed inevitably by shaping of the outer linear contour 14 from the outside (or called inward shaping, i.e., einching). For holding the screening arrangement 6, a carrier slide, not shown in detail, is provided, which is mounted so as to be linearly movable along the linear contour 13 in the vehicle height direction. The dimensionally stable shielding structure 6 is designed as a partially transparent shielding plate 6, which may be provided with an electrically activatable light-protective layer, preferably a PDLC film, in order to change the transparency of the shielding structure 6 by a corresponding electrical activation. An electric drive unit 12 is provided for displacing the screening arrangement 6 and also the window pane 5, which electric drive unit is mounted on the inner side of the outer housing shell 7 facing the vehicle interior. The drive unit 12 has, in a manner not shown in detail, a drive transmission system which interacts with two carrier slides for the screening arrangement 6 and the main window pane 5 in order to displace the screening arrangement 6 and the window pane 5 together or separately from one another in the vehicle height direction. Associated with the drive unit 12 is a coupling system which can couple or decouple the drive transmission system of the carrier blocks for the window panes 5 and the screening arrangement 6 as required. The corresponding couplings for driving the screening arrangement 6 on the one hand and the main window pane 5 on the other hand correspond to the coupling system described in DE 10 2021 204 275.9, so that a more detailed explanation is additionally referred to this unpublished patent application.
The module housing is completed by an inner housing shell 8 which can be mounted in a precisely fitting manner on the edge of the outer housing shell 7 and can be firmly connected thereto. In the assembled, closed state of the module housing, the inner housing shell 8 and the outer housing shell 7 delimit an inner space in which the shielding structure 6 and the relevant functional components for displacing the shielding structure 6 are arranged. The drying space is open towards the top so that the screening arrangement 6 can be moved out and in.
The shielding structure 6 is designed as a form-stable plastic plate, which is transparent. On at least one surface of the transparent plastic sheet, a light-proof functional layer is applied in a planar manner, which can change the transparency of the plastic sheet by means of electrical activation. It is advantageous to provide a PDLC film as a light-proof functional layer. Alternatively, the plastic panel itself is coloured to allow light transmission through the most part of the shielding structure 6.
As a drive transmission system for displacing the main window pane 5 and the screening arrangement 6, a rope guide system provided with at least one rope pulling device is advantageously provided, which has a rope and deflection rollers and is coupled with the drive unit 12 for driving by the drive unit 12.
The inner housing shell 8 is covered in the installed state ready for operation by the door trim 9 toward the vehicle interior, wherein the door trim 9 is fastened in the door trim region of the door body-in-white part and in the region of the inner housing shell 8 facing the outside of the vehicle interior.
The motor vehicle side door according to fig. 4 to 9 is also provided as a rear seat side door for a passenger vehicle in the same manner as in the case of the motor vehicle side door according to fig. 1 to 3. The functionally identical parts and sections of the side door according to fig. 4 to 9 are provided with identical reference signs with the addition of the letter a. In order to avoid repetition, reference is additionally made to the implementation of the side door according to fig. 1 to 3 in relation to the side door according to fig. 4 to 9. Differences of the side door according to fig. 4 to 9 compared to the side door according to fig. 1 to 3 will be explained below.
The side door according to fig. 4 also has a body-in-white body part 2a which has a door skin on the outside of the body and a door inner skin on the inside facing the vehicle interior. Not only the door skin but also the door inner skin is formed stably, and is preferably formed into a metal plate structure. Between the door inner skin and the door outer skin there is a cavity in which a main window sheet, not shown, is displaceable in order to close or open the window opening 3a. The window openings 3a are each laterally limited by a guide rail provided for displacement of the main window sheet. The body-in-white body part 2a also has a triangular window 4a, which adjoins the window opening 3a on the rear side. The triangular window 4a is provided with a fixed window sheet.
The double shell module housing according to fig. 4 to 9 serves on the one hand for holding and displacing the window panes and on the other hand for holding and displacing the two screening arrangements 6a, 19. Two screening arrangements 6a,19 are provided for screening the window pane 3a and the triangular window 4a on the inside as required.
One of the screening arrangements 6a is a main screening arrangement provided for screening of the main window sheet 3a. The auxiliary shielding structure 19 serves to shield the triangular window 4a. Both shielding structures 6a,19 are designed as plate-like shielding structures of stable shape.
In this case, both the main shielding structure 6a and the auxiliary shielding structure 19 are embodied as transparent plastic window parts, which are supplemented by an electrically activatable light protection layer, in each case one PDLC film, in order to change the light transmission of the respective shielding structure 6a, 19. The PDLC film is applied face-wise to the plastic sheet component.
The main screening arrangement 6a is held at a carrier slide 15a which can run in the vehicle height direction along a longitudinal contour 13a which is molded on the inside in the region of the outer housing shell 7a (see in particular fig. 6 and 8).
The auxiliary screening arrangement 19 is held on a further carrier slider 24 along a diagonally extending guide contour 20 (see fig. 6 and 8). The guide contour 20 is also formed in one piece from the outer housing shell 7 a.
The carrier slider 24 of the auxiliary screening arrangement 19 has a tab guide which is guided in the guide contour 20 in a linearly movable manner.
The electric drive unit 12a has an electric motor and a suitable transmission. The drive unit 12a is coupled to a rope guiding system for displacing the main screening arrangement 6a and the auxiliary screening arrangement 19. Furthermore, the drive unit is coupled to a further cable guide system, which is provided for the displacement of a carrier slider 22 of a window sheet, not shown, which is arranged in the wet space. As can be seen by means of fig. 7, the carrier slide 22 is displaceable along the longitudinal contour 14a outside the outer housing shell 7 a.
The rope guide system for the displacement of the main screening arrangement 6a and the auxiliary screening arrangement 19 is arranged at least partially in the inner region of the inner housing shell 8a, as can be seen from the rope guide section 23 visible in fig. 7.
In contrast, the carrier slider 15a for the main screening arrangement 6a is arranged on the inside of the outer housing shell 7a at the respective longitudinal contour 13 a. The coupling system 21 shown in fig. 7 and 8 is used solely to drive the drive force of the drive unit 12a as required to the rope guide system of the carrier slide 22 on the outside of the housing shell 7a for the outside. This rope guide system with corresponding ropes and deflection rollers provided for the outer side is represented by the rope guide section 25 in fig. 7.
The drive unit 12a is arranged next to the linear contour 13a below the inner side of the housing shell 7a at the holding portion 26 of the outer housing shell 7 a. The holding portion 26 is formed at least in sections from the outer housing shell 7a in one piece.
The carrier slider 15a is connected to a holding section of the main screening arrangement 6a, which is associated with the inner housing shell, as can be seen from fig. 7. The guide slide 24 and the holding section are coupled to one another in a positively guided manner, so that a displacement of the carrier slide 15a necessarily also leads to a complementary displacement of the guide slide 24 in the guide profile 20.
The outer housing shell 7a also has a circumferential edge region 11a which can be fitted with an exact fit over the edge contour of an opening, not shown, of the door inner skin of the door body-in-white part, in order to achieve a tight closure between the door outer skin and the door inner skin of the door body-in-white part 2a, i.e. into the vehicle interior. Furthermore, the outer housing shell 7a can be connected to the inner housing shell 8a on the edge side by means of releasable connections, so that a double-shell module housing is created.
The inner housing shell 8a additionally has a plurality of mounting openings 16 to 18, which can be seen with the aid of fig. 4 to 9. These serve to adjust the respective functional components for the screening arrangements 6a and 19 even when the module housing has been closed, so that, when the inner and outer housing shells 7a, 8a have been connected to one another, the remaining adjustment or installation steps can also be carried out via these mounting openings 16 to 18.
The respective lateral guides at the door body-in- white parts 2,2a for the panes 5,5a and also the carrier blocks for the panes 5,5a belong to the pane guidance system in the sense of the invention. The same applies to the linear contours 14, 14a of the outer housing shells 7,7 a.
The linear contours 13, 13a, the carrier blocks 15, 15a, the guide contours 20, the guide blocks 24 and the holding elements for the main screening arrangement 6a, which are not shown in detail, belong to the screening arrangement guide system in the sense of the invention.
