本申请实施例公开了一种用于天线切换的探测参考信号SRS触发方法及其装置，可以应用于5G NR系统中，该方法包括：网络设备接收终端设备发送的能力上报信息，所述能力上报信息用于表示所述终端设备支持的天线切换配置组合；网络设备根据所述能力上报信息，在支持的天线切换配置组合中为所述终端设备配置至少一种功能的SRS资源，至少一种功能包括天线切换配置。通过实施本申请实施例，可以更加灵活和快速的切换或者回退到不同的天线切换配置。
