背景技术
慢性消耗性疾病(CWD)是一种与朊病毒相关的疾病,会影响鹿科动物,例如鹿、麋鹿、驯鹿、梅花鹿和驼鹿。CWD是有问题的,因为更多的动物通过直接接触环境中受感染的鹿或活的CWD朊病毒而接触到传染性朊病毒。促进动物聚集的活动(例如诱饵或喂食)会加强鹿科动物之间的传播。随着越来越多的鹿被感染,随后的环境污染成倍增加,其在CWD的持续传播中发挥关键作用。

发明详述
本公开涉及用于施用于鹿科动物的各种制剂和方法。鹿科动物基础制剂是一种添加剂,可用于颗粒饲料、蛋白质块、饮用水以及用于鹿和某些牲畜设施的喷雾清洁剂。鹿科动物基础制剂是3种植物提取物的组合。鹿科动物基础制剂包含驯鹿地衣(鹿蕊)、肺地衣(老龙皮)和女巫胡子地衣(长匐树发)的提取物。含有女巫胡子地衣(长匐树发)提取物的制剂比不含这种提取物的制剂更易消化75%。
收获整株植物并通过高温灭菌加工成粉末状。它们呈棕黄色细粉末状,气味适中,味道适中。该粉末经过重金属测试并符合标准。该粉末经过微生物测试并符合标准。
通过高温灭菌过程,以10:1、20:1、30:1和40:1的提取物比率提取整株植物。确切的提取物比率用于特定的产品制剂。
驯鹿地衣提取物(鹿蕊)以按重量计1%至40%的百分比范围用作正在制造的特定产品的添加剂。
肺地衣提取物(老龙皮)以按重量计1%至40%的百分比范围用作正在制造的特定产品的添加剂。

实施例3-用于鹿科动物的饮用水制剂
未灭菌
活性成分:100%基础制剂粉末,如图3所示

施用:每30天在鹿科动物饮用水中口服施用5天。

实施例4-喷雾产品
该实施例测试各种喷雾清洁剂制剂的稳定性。
基于地衣提取物的喷雾清洁剂是基于以下制剂制成的。发现除5%肺制剂外的所有制剂都具有较好的稳定性。良好的样品在老化过程后没有表现出视觉差异、气味差异或喷洒能力的变化。

根据表2,用5%、10%、15%和20%的地衣提取物和甘油制成驯鹿和肺地衣提取物喷雾清洁剂。每批300克。将每种喷雾制剂置于各自的32盎司喷雾瓶中。喷雾瓶被贴上标签并被检查以测试制剂被喷雾到表面上的能力。图4显示了装有制剂的喷雾瓶。喷雾测试后,将喷雾瓶放置在稳定室中7天(40℃,75%湿度)以检查稳定性。稳定室允许在温度和湿度方面的受控环境,以测试样品对设定温度和湿度的稳定性。
在将喷雾瓶放入稳定室之前,保留大约20mL的每种制剂。7天后,收集了约20mL的每种制剂,用于与稳定性测试前收集的样品进行视觉比较。再次喷洒每个瓶子以确保样品仍然容易喷洒。
图5(5%)、图6(10%)、图7(15%)、图8(20%)显示了稳定性测试前后的肺地衣制剂。5%制剂测试后有漂浮颗粒。这被归类为不可接受的。10%、15%、20%肺地衣制剂在测试后没有显著差异。所有制剂在稳定性测试前后都能够喷洒。
图9(5%)、图10(10%)、图11(15%)、图12(20%)显示了稳定性测试前后的驯鹿地衣喷雾制剂。5%、10%、15%和20%的驯鹿地衣制剂在测试后没有显著差异。所有制剂在稳定性测试前后都能够喷洒。所有喷雾制剂都被认为是稳定性合格的。

18.基于地衣提取物的喷雾清洁剂制剂,其包含:
包含驯鹿地衣提取物(鹿蕊)和肺地衣提取物(老龙皮)中的至少一种的成分;
酶稳定剂;
防腐剂;
抗菌活性物;和
载体溶剂。
19.权利要求18所述的喷雾制剂,其中所述载体溶剂是水。
20.权利要求18所述的喷雾制剂,其中所述成分以5%至40%的量存在。
21.方法,其包括:
向鹿科动物施用包含驯鹿地衣提取物(鹿蕊)、肺地衣提取物(老龙皮)和女巫胡子地衣提取物(长匐树发)的混合物的组合物。
22.权利要求21所述的方法,其中所述组合物进一步包含:
蛋白质;脂肪;纤维;维生素;矿物质;防腐剂和乳化剂,呈蛋白质块的形式,其中所述混合物包含按重量计1%至40%的驯鹿地衣提取物(鹿蕊),按重量计1%至40%的肺地衣提取物(老龙皮),以及按重量计5%至45%的女巫胡子地衣提取物(长匐树发)。
