本公开提出了一种终端设备的控制方法及装置，涉及通信领域，本申请的技术方案主要是当前为终端设备提供服务的第一网络设备在从该第二网络设备接收到切换请求确认消息后，向终端设备发送控制信息以对终端设备进行控制。由此，通过基于终端设备将要切换至的网络设备的类型向终端设备发送控制信息，以指示终端设备执行与该类型对应的控制行为，从而实现可对终端设备的控制。
