本申请公开了一种应用于无线双耳耳机的通信方法和装置,涉及芯片技术领域,能够提升双耳耳机的传输成功率,降低双耳耳机连续重传带来的功耗。其中,该无线双耳耳机包括第一耳机和第二耳机,第一耳机和第二耳机分别与终端进行无线通信。其方法可以为:第一耳机与第二耳机建立通信连接,第一耳机接收第一指示信息,并根据第一指示信息确定第二耳机在从终端接收第一数据包时存在接收失败,当第一耳机从终端成功接收所述第一数据包时,第一耳机通过通信连接将第一数据包转发给第二耳机。本申请实施例用于无线双耳耳机之间进行数据包转发/重传。
