According to this ore sorting unit that this disclosure provided, through a plurality of ore container that set up the in-line type on surveying the platform, can correspond different ore detection modes, simultaneously, a plurality of ore containers can once only place a plurality of ores and survey, have guaranteed this sorting unit's time utilization efficiency for it has higher efficiency to select separately to survey of ore.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates generally to the field of ore sorting, and more particularly to an ore sorting apparatus.
Background
Currently, valuable metals such as uranium, thorium, copper, iron, gold, aluminum, and the like are generally extracted from ores. The valuable metal content of different ores varies, and before the ores are refined, the ores with higher valuable metal content, namely concentrate, need to be sorted out, and the ores with lower valuable metal content, namely tailings, are usually selected to be discarded.
In conventional radioactive beneficiation schemes, the spectrometer detectors are often placed in a line directly below the radioactive ore channels. When the system works, radioactive ores sequentially pass through the spectrometer detectors, the radioactive counting of the ores is measured by the spectrometer detectors, the radioactive counting of the ores is compared with the background counting of the non-radioactive ores, the quality of the ores is estimated at the same time, the specific radioactivity level of the ores is further calculated, and therefore the sorting work of the radioactive ores is achieved. In order to reduce the mutual interference of adjacent ores on a conveying device, a proper shielding structure must be arranged, so that the measuring time utilization rate of the detector is low, and the time utilization rate of each detector does not exceed: the distance of visibility of the spectrometer to the transport device/sample spacing; this results in the need for more spectrometer detectors for a given amount of ore, which increases the cost of the equipment.
In the sorting scheme based on detection technologies such as XRF, (near) infrared, LIBS, raman, etc., a loading device, a conveying device, a light source and detector, a sorting module, a control module, and a storage bin are generally included. When the sample is sorted, target atoms or molecules in the sample can emit characteristic spectral lines under the excitation of a light source, the characteristic spectral lines reflect the components of the atoms or the molecules, and the intensity of the characteristic spectral lines is positively correlated with the content of substances. If the required measurement time may be extended to s-level or more due to the low content of the target substance, it may become impossible to perform the sorting of the sample on the conveyor in a pipeline, or the throughput may be insufficient.
On the other hand, in the beneficiation, since it is necessary to perform beneficiation according to the relative content of the target component of the ore, it is sometimes necessary to measure the quality of the ore sample. In conventional radioactive beneficiation schemes, a pressure sensor is mounted on the conveyor to measure mass or an optical camera is used to estimate volume and then mass from density. The errors of the two measurement methods are large, so that the error of the result of the selection is large, and the false positive rate-FPR (false positive rate-FPR) and the false negative rate-FNR (false negative rate-FNR) are increased during ore dressing.

In different situations, different types of detection devices are used for the detection of ore. For example, in the case of sorting uranium ores, a gamma ray detector may be used as the detection device. In addition, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of conveying devices 7 are provided as the distributing devices, the conveying devices 7 are also provided in an in-line arrangement manner, the conveying devices 7 correspond to the ore containers 4 one by one, the plurality of ore containers 4 can be distributed simultaneously, the distributing work of a row of ore containers can be completed at one time, and the efficiency is high.
According to the ore sorting device of the present disclosure, a plurality of ore containers 4 of an in-line type are provided on the detection platform 1, and the detection device is provided above or below the corresponding ore container 4, which can correspond to different detection modes of the ore 8. For example, the ore 8 may be placed in each ore container 4 at a time and then detected and sorted in batches. The solid angle between the detection device and the ore 8 is preferably as large as possible, so that the time efficiency of the ore sorting device is ensured, and the detection sorting of the ore 8 is more efficient. The space surrounded by one tapered surface is called a solid angle. For example, a sphere is formed by taking a detecting device arranged below the ore container 4 as a sphere center, the length between the detecting device and the ore is a radius, and the ratio of the area of a cone on the sphere surface to the square of the sphere radius is the current solid angle. In the ore sorting device of the present disclosure, the solid angle is pi/3 or more, preferably pi/2 or more, and more preferably pi or more.
In one embodiment, a plurality of ore containers 4 are arranged in an array on the detection platform 1, and the detection progress of each row or column of ore containers 4 may or may not be identical.
Further, the plurality of ore containers 4 arranged in-line in the present disclosure may comprise a plurality of ore containers 4 arranged in an array, wherein the array is embodied as a rectangular array, i.e. a linear planar array of rows and columns. Accordingly, the distribution device may be provided in an array type, but is preferably a movable distribution device that distributes the ore containers 4 arranged in an array in one row or one line. In other words, the distribution device can distribute only one line or row of ore containers at the same time, and after the distribution of the one line or row of ore containers is completed, the distribution of the next line or row of ore containers is performed, thereby sequentially completing the distribution of all the lines or rows of ore containers 4 arranged in an array.
In the present disclosure, in the process of detecting and sorting the ores 8, the ores 8 are firstly moved to the corresponding ore containers 4 through the distributing device, then the corresponding detection is performed in the ore containers 4, and finally the detected ores are moved to the corresponding receiving devices, so that at least three steps of distributing, detecting and sorting are included. The placement and detection of ore 8 is performed according to a plurality of ore containers 4 arranged in an array-type arrangement in the present disclosure, and the progress of ore detection performed by each ore container 4 may not be exactly the same as compared to the structure of the single-column arrangement of fig. 1-4, and preferably the ore containers 4 of each row or column may be arranged to perform the same operation, with the operation being different between different rows or columns. For example, in the case that five rows of ore containers 4 are arranged in an array, a group of movably arranged distributing devices sequentially distribute the ore containers 4 in each row, after the first row is distributed, the distributing devices move to the second row to perform a distributing operation, and at the same time, the detection of the ores in the first row of ore containers 4 is started, and then the distributing devices sequentially move to the third, fourth and fifth rows to perform a distributing operation, for example, when the distributing devices perform a distributing operation in the fifth row, the ores 8 in the first row of ore containers 4, which have been detected, are sorted, so that the distributing, detecting and sorting of the ore sorting device can be circulated, and the detection efficiency is higher. Another advantage is that the number of receiving devices can be significantly reduced, for example, one receiving device may be placed in each two rows of ore containers 4, that is, the number of receiving devices (number of columns) = number of columns in the placement area + 1.
Note that the number of rows and columns of the ore containers 4 arranged in an array may be appropriately selected according to the distribution, the required time for detection and/or sorting, and the like.
In one embodiment, a plurality of ore containers 4 arranged in-line are provided on a rotatable structure, such as a drum rotatable about an axis. The circumferential side wall of the drum may be formed by a plurality of axially extending support plates arranged at intervals, each support plate being provided with an array of ore containers 4. Every backup pad can the level setting, and from this when the cylinder is rotatory, the backup pad can not change its level setting's form yet, places the ore in corresponding backup pad, and the cylinder rotation drives the backup pad and rotates together with the ore structure of top. The support plate may be considered a probe platform. Furthermore, each support plate may be provided with a hook portion or a hinge portion, by means of which each ore container 4 is connected, when the drum is rotated, the ore container 4 is vertically suspended in the support plate by its own weight, i.e. the ore container 4 may remain horizontal all the time during the rotation of the drum. Here, the rotation of the ore container 4 when moving the ore to the receiving device can be performed by an auxiliary mechanism (e.g., a telescopic rod). The distributing device can be arranged above the roller so as to distribute the ore container located at the highest position, and the receiving device can be arranged below the roller so as to accommodate the ore located at the lowest position and completing detection. At ore sorting unit during operation, can carry out the cloth to ore container 4 on certain fagging, this ore container 4 leaves the distributing device and begins to survey afterwards, and next backup pad drives ore container 4 below to distributing device through the rotation in order to carry out the cloth, selects separately when ore container 4 rotates to the below of cylinder, falls into corresponding receiving device, so circulation. Therefore, the supporting plate on one roller can be used for detecting, distributing and sorting at the same time, and the detection efficiency is higher. The number of the supporting plates of the drum, the rotation speed, and the positions of the distributing device and the receiving device may be appropriately selected according to the distribution, the time required for detection and/or sorting, and the like.
