Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of skin care products, and particularly relates to an essential oil composition with after-sun restoration and whitening effects.
Background
The plant essential oil is volatile aromatic substance prepared from flower, stem, leaf, fruit, skin, etc. of plant by specific water distillation and squeezing. Plant essential oils contain complex structures of compounds (tens to hundreds), and the effects produced by the combination of different essential oil compounds may vary widely.
Whitening is an important requirement in the field of skin care products in China. Many essential oils are being attempted to be used in whitening skin care products, including some single and compound essential oil combinations. Because of the uncertainty of the efficacy of the combination of the essential oils, many attempts of the essential oils, whether single or compound, fail to achieve the expected whitening effect. For example, CN105686981a relates to a whitening and acne-removing essential oil, which is declared to have remarkable whitening and acne-removing effects. But it was verified by the present inventors that it did not achieve the expected significant effect.
Disclosure of Invention
According to the invention, a large amount of essential oil components are widely researched, and a specific essential oil composition is finally obtained, so that the effect of the specific essential oil composition has unexpected effects on inhibiting various cell melanin increases caused by sunburn, skin damage and inflammation, and has remarkable effects on whitening and after-sun repair.
It is verified that this effect results from the synergistic effect of specific essential oil compositions in precise proportions.
The invention relates to a compound essential oil composition with whitening or after-sun restoration, which comprises the following components in parts by weight:
lavender essential oil: 30-38%
Lemon essential oil: 16-23%

Performance experiment 2:
the test researches the post-sun erythema repairing condition of the product of the invention on a subject.
20 volunteers (subjects) were randomly selected to try out the product of example 3. The standard of the subject is 18-60 years old male or female, the subject has sunburn within one week, the test part is neck, back or arm with obvious sunburn skin, the sunburn part has obvious erythema compared with the surrounding skin, and skin damage symptoms such as desquamation and the like do not appear.
The experimental method comprises the following steps: the product of example 3 was applied to a portion of erythema, and applied once in the morning and evening for 7 days continuously, and compared with the skin of the erythema nearby without the product of the invention.
Several aspects of erythema regression, reduced dryness, desquamation were observed and scored by an experienced panel. Score definition: severe sunburn 5 min, severe sunburn 4 min, moderate sunburn 3 min, mild sunburn 2 min, mild sunburn 1 min, and normal skin 0 min.
Experimental results: the product of example 3 according to the invention was applied to a portion of sunburned skin and after 7 days the average score of the experimental group was 1.6 points compared to the score of the control group, which was 4.6 points. Sunburn relief was shown to be a reduction of 14.3% in erythema and papules from the next day after application, and 65.2% in erythema and papules after 7 consecutive days. The number of subjects with severe sunburn and significant peeling in the control area was 11 (usually the population with severe sunburn generally started peeling 2-3 days after sunburn and stopped peeling after 10-15 days). After the 11 persons continuously apply the product for 7 days, 7 persons tested the area without peeling, 3 persons tested the area with only slight peeling, and only 1 person did not change significantly compared with the control skin around which the product of the invention was not applied.

Comparison experiment:
in this example, the compositions of lavender essential oil, lemon essential oil, tea tree essential oil, geranium essential oil and these four essential oils according to the formulation disclosed in CN105686981a according to the present invention were used to test melanin inhibiting effects in comparison with the essential oil composition of example 1 (5%, 20% concentration) according to the present invention. The above essential oils were used in an amount of 20% by weight, and after dilution treatment with the cosmetic carrier exemplified in example 3, the test materials were as follows:
1. lavender essential oil 20%
2. Lemon essential oil 20%
3. Tea tree essential oil 20%
4. Geranium essential oil 20%
5. Lavender essential oil, lemon essential oil, tea tree essential oil and geranium essential oil compound 20% (CN 105686981A, weight ratio of the above four components is 25:5:2:3)
6. Essential oil composition of example 1 of the present invention 5%
7. 20% of essential oil composition of example 1 of the present invention
The experimental method adopts an in vitro whitening experiment, namely a tyrosinase activity inhibition experiment. Tyrosinase plays a key role in the biosynthesis of skin melanin, and the amount of melanin produced is directly related to tyrosinase activity. Therefore, the intensity of the inhibition effect on tyrosinase can be used as a main index of melanin inhibition rate.
The experimental steps are as follows:
buffer solution configuration: 7.8g of sodium dihydrogen phosphate and 17.91g of disodium hydrogen phosphate are weighed, distilled water is used for constant volume to 500ml respectively, a proper amount of PBS buffer solution with pH value of 6.8 and 0.1mol/L is mixed and prepared,
preparing a tyrosine solution: 0.05g g L-Aminocystic acid was dissolved in 35ml of a 0.1mol/L hydrochloric acid solution, and 65ml of the buffer solution was added to obtain a 0.05% tyrosine solution.
Preparing tyrosinase solution: dissolving tyrosinase with enzyme activity of 25000U in 250ml distilled water to obtain 100U/ml
The tyrosinase solution was dispensed into test tubes.
Tyrosinase activity assay: the above test sample (1 g) was added to a tyrosine solution, water-bath was conducted at 37℃for 10 minutes, tyrosinase was added to each test substance separately, and the reaction was stopped by shaking thoroughly and accurately for 15 minutes, and the absorbance at 475nm was measured by an enzyme-labeled instrument. And the inhibition ratio was calculated.
The experiment uses PBS buffer solution to replace the test sample to carry out the same operation steps, and the result is that: tyrosinase inhibition rates of the above 7 experimental groups were respectively: 1.4% of lavender, 4.7% of lemon, 8.2% of tea tree, 11.3% of geranium, and 23.5% of lavender, lemon, tea tree and geranium compound; whereas the inhibition at 5% concentration of the composition of the present invention was 78.2%, the inhibition at 20% concentration was 92.1%.
Conclusion: the essential oil composition has a synergistic effect on melanin inhibition, and the effect of the essential oil composition is obviously superior to that of the essential oil composition in the prior art.
