Abstract

一种铁-碳合金表面富勒碳涂层的激光改性方法,属材料表面工程领域。本发明方法是将富勒碳粉末涂覆于铁基合金表面,在惰性气体保护下通过连续式激光器辐照。使融熔的基底与富勒碳熔合均匀,然后对其进行热处理,在奥氏体化温度以上保持一定时间后淬入介质中。

Description

铁-碳合金表面富勒碳涂层的激光改性方法
本发明涉及材料的激光表面改性,属材料表面工程领域。
以C60、巴基管(Buckytube)为代表的富勒碳团簇,自1990年被宏观量制取出来以后,立即引起了物理、化学及材料界的极大兴趣,特别是巴基管,因其生产率高、生产成本低,更受到材料工作者的重视。巴基管的横截面是由二个或多个同轴管组成,管壁相距0.34纳米。理论分析表明,巴基管的性能要比石墨纤维强得多。然而,目前国内外在这方面进行的大量工作主要集中在它的物理、化学性质方面,在工程材料方面的研究较少,并且至今尚未有进入工程材料领域得到应用的报导。
本发明的目的是提供一种以富勒碳作为涂层材料,对铁-碳合金表面进行激光改性强化的方法。以富勒碳作为涂层材料,对铁基合金进行激光表面改性,有别于其它材料激光表面改性方法,即激光相变硬化、激光合金化和激光熔覆,原因在于富勒碳在激光作用下不发生熔解,而基底合金表面熔解,这样熔融合金与富勒碳熔合均匀,并发生部分化学反应,甚至在后续的热处理过程中发生同素异构的转变。
本发明方法是将富勒碳(巴基球或巴基管)粉末涂覆于铁基合金表面(约300微米)在惰性气体保护下,通过连续式激光器辐照,使熔融的基底与富勒碳熔合均匀,其后对其热处理,在奥氏体化温度以上保持一定时间后淬入介质中。组织中除含有大量弥散颗粒状碳化物外,还有金刚石颗粒存在,尺寸在微米量级。此时材料表面的宏观硬度可达HRC65以上。

说明实施例如下:实施例1:
将巴基球(C60/C70)粉末均匀涂覆于45#钢表面,形成0.3mm左右的涂层,试样在连续式CO2激光器下辐照,窗口输出功率密度<104W/mm2,光斑直径5mm,搭接率为50%,激光处理后试样于900℃奥氏体化10min后淬入有机醇+冰中。硬度检测表明,其表面宏观硬度在HRC65以上。经由扫描电镜形貌、能谱分析,透射电镜形貌及电子衍射斑的标定,证明其中含有微米量级的金刚石颗粒。实施例2:
将巴基管(Buckytube)粉末均匀涂覆于球墨铸铁试样表面,形成约0.3mm的涂层,试样在连续式CO2激光器下辐照,窗口输出功率密度<104W/mm2,光斑直径4mm,搭接率30%,激光处理后试样于900℃奥氏体化10min后淬入有机醇+冰中,扫描电镜形貌观察,拉曼检测以及X射线衍射结果表明有金刚石颗粒存在,另外还存在大量弥散分布的碳化物颗粒,其宏观硬度达到HRC65以上。
用此方法可以得到较高的宏观表面硬度,基体中存在有金刚石颗粒。因而具有极好的耐磨性能。

Claims (4)

1、一种铁-碳合金表面富勒碳涂层的激光改性方法,其特征是将富勒碳(巴基球或巴基管)粉末涂覆于铁基合金表面,在惰性气体保护下通过连续式激光器辐照,使融熔的基底与富勒碳熔合均匀,然后对其进行热处理,在奥氏体化温度以上保持一定时间后淬入介质中。
2、根据权利要求1所说的铁-碳合金表面富勒碳涂层的激光改性方法,其特征是所用的惰性气体为氮气。
3、根据权利要求1、2所说的铁-碳合金表面富勒碳涂层的激光改性方法,其特征所说的激光器为CO2激光器。
4、根据权利要求1、2、3所说的铁-碳合金表面富勒碳涂层的激光改性方法,其特征是富勒碳涂层厚度为0.3毫米。
