The invention discloses a novel colorful diatom ooze wall material and a manufacturing process thereof, wherein the diatom ooze wall material is prepared by uniformly stirring and mixing a component A and a component B, and the mass ratio of the component A to the component B is 2: 3; the component A comprises, by weight, 20-40% of high molecular polymer, 15-35% of powder, 2-5% of cellulose ether, 25-50% of aggregate sand and 1-3% of wood fiber; the component B comprises one or more glitter powder with the color and the grain diameter of 0.2 mm. The invention has simple preparation and construction process, can obviously enhance the visual effect of the product, enables the decorative part to be concave and convex, has more stereoscopic impression and various gorgeous colors, and has the efficacy of adsorbing and purifying harmful gases by diatom ooze.
