Detailed Description
The following describes a mode for carrying out the present invention with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration of a main part of an information providing system 500 including an information providing server 100 of an embodiment. The information providing system 500 provides information for a driver of a vehicle on which a user is mounted and which is traveling.
Generally, the driving behavior of the driver is composed of three elements, i.e., recognition, judgment, and operation. If the driver misselects at least one of these three factors, the vehicle may be caused to act dangerously and an accident may result. In the case where a driver omits a part of three elements or is careless about to comply with traffic regulations due to confidence, over-confidence, subjective assumption, or habit generated based on past driving experience, a three-element error is liable to occur. The information provided by the information providing system 500 to the driver is educational information for improving the driving action of the driver that may be a cause of dangerous behavior of the vehicle.
In the embodiment, the content is provided as the educational information effective for the point of the driving action of the driver to be improved. The improvement point of the driving behavior is determined based on evaluation information from the user riding the vehicle. The content of the behavior of the vehicle sensed by the user who is seated in the vehicle is used as the driver's education information, and the content is determined based on the idea that the content of the behavior of the vehicle more contributes to the improvement of the user's satisfaction when compared with the content based on the behavior of the vehicle detected by the sensor.
The evaluation information is an evaluation value obtained by evaluating at least one of a driving behavior of a driver of the vehicle and a behavior of the vehicle by a user who is riding the vehicle, and includes information indicating a riding date and time.
An example of such an information providing system 500 will be described in detail below.
In fig. 1, the information providing system 500 is configured by, for example, an information providing server 100, an in-vehicle unit 10, a driver terminal 20, and a user terminal 30, and the information providing server 100 is owned by a 1 st business entity engaged in a vehicle distribution service business or a 2 nd business entity that has received a request for information providing service from the 1 st business entity; the on-board unit 10 is installed in a vehicle not shown in the drawings, which is held by the 1 st business entity or a driver contracted with the 1 st business entity; the driver terminal 20 is owned by the driver who drives the vehicle; the user terminal 30 is owned by the user riding in the vehicle.
The information providing server 100, the in-vehicle unit 10, the driver terminal 20, and the user terminal 30 are connected to a communication network 40 such as a wireless communication network, the internet, or a telephone network line. For convenience, fig. 1 shows the on-board unit 10, the driver terminal 20, and the user terminal 30 as one, but the on-board unit 10 may be provided in each of a plurality of vehicles, a plurality of drivers driving each vehicle having the driver terminal 20, and a plurality of users using each vehicle having the user terminal 30. Although fig. 1 shows one information providing server 100, the functions of the information providing server 100 may be distributed among a plurality of server devices.
< information providing Server >
Fig. 2 is a block diagram illustrating a main portion configuration of the information providing server 100 of fig. 1. The information providing server 100 may also be configured with a virtual server function, for example, on the cloud. The information providing server 100 includes a communication unit 110, an input/output unit 120, a calculation unit 130, and a storage unit 140.
The communication unit 110 is configured to be capable of wireless communication with the in-vehicle unit 10, the driver terminal 20, and the user terminal 30, respectively, via the communication network 40. The communication of the communication unit 110 is controlled by the arithmetic unit 130.
The input/output unit 120 includes, for example, a keyboard, a pointing device, a display, a touch panel, and the like. The input/output unit 120 transmits a signal input by an operation on a keyboard, a pointing device, a touch panel, or the like to the arithmetic unit 130, and displays information based on the signal output from the arithmetic unit 130 on a display or the like.
The arithmetic unit 130 is constituted by a microcomputer and its peripheral circuit. The arithmetic unit 130 executes predetermined processing based on a signal input via the input/output unit 120, a signal received from the outside of the information providing server 100 via the communication unit 110, data stored in the storage unit 140, and the like, and outputs a control signal to the communication unit 110, the input/output unit 120, and the storage unit 140.
The arithmetic unit 130 includes an evaluation information acquisition unit 131, a behavior information acquisition unit 132, a comparison unit 133, a content extraction unit 134, a determination unit 135, and an output unit 136. The following describes each part in the arithmetic unit 130.
The storage unit 140 includes a volatile or nonvolatile memory not shown. The storage unit 140 stores various programs and various data executed by the arithmetic unit 130. The storage unit 140 includes a content information database 141, an evaluation information database 142, a behavior information database 143, and an incentive information database 144, and is configured as a functional structure that is assumed to be a memory.
The content information database 141 stores a plurality of contents as education information. The content is, for example, data such as animation (including animation to which voice information is added), still image (including image to which text information is superimposed and image to which voice information is added), message image (image including text information on a background-free screen), voice prompt, or the like, or data in which a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) indicating a reference object for these is stored, or data obtained by combining these. As described above, in order to improve the driving behavior of the driver and the dangerous behavior of the vehicle based on the driving behavior, a plurality of contents respectively corresponding to a plurality of improvement points of the driving behavior are prepared in advance and stored in the content information database 141.
The evaluation information database 142 stores evaluation information obtained by evaluation by the user. As described above, the evaluation information includes the evaluation value obtained by evaluating the driving behavior of the driver of the vehicle on which the user uses the vehicle-matching service and the behavior of the vehicle, and the information indicating the riding date and time. The evaluation information stored in the evaluation information database 142 may be acquired from a server managed by the 1 st business entity that collects the evaluation information from the user, or the information providing server 100 may collect the evaluation information from the user without passing through the server managed by the 1 st business entity. In the embodiment, the information providing server 100 acquires evaluation information from a user.
For example, application software (hereinafter referred to as application) distributed by the 1 st business entity or the like is installed in advance in the user terminal 30 of the user. The installation of the application can be performed when the user registers with the 1 st service entity. The user starts an application at the user terminal 30 to perform evaluation, and evaluation information is transmitted from the user terminal 30 to the information providing server 100 via the application. In the case of evaluation in five grades, if the optimum is set to 5, the minimum is 1. When the user feels danger or terrorism while traveling in the vehicle, the user terminal 30 can transmit the content felt by the user to the information providing server 100 by clicking on specific items displayed by the user terminal 30, such as "distance between vehicles is short", "brake is late", "brake is weak", "acceleration is fast", "speed is slow", "steering is sharp", "sway", "yellow signal traveling", "lane change is frequent", and "temporary stop is insufficient". In the embodiment, when the vehicle carrying the user arrives at the destination and the user gets off, the 1 st service entity transmits a mail to the user terminal 30 to prompt the start of the application and input of evaluation information.
When the evaluation information is transmitted from the user terminal 30, the driver id (identification) of the driver of the vehicle on which the user is riding is associated with the evaluation information by the application. Thus, the evaluation information transmitted from the user terminal 30 can be stored in the evaluation information database 142 in association with the driver ID of the driver of the vehicle used by the user.
The evaluation information database 142 can read out evaluation information made by a plurality of users for each driver. For example, the specific items can be read out in addition to the evaluation values in the five-level evaluation. Further, it is also possible to read out the evaluation information transmitted from the user terminal 30 at the latest predetermined cycle (for example, one month or three months) and read out the number of times of evaluation (appearance frequency) is low. In the embodiment, in the five-level evaluation, the low evaluation process is performed when the evaluation belongs to the first from last or the second, and the high evaluation process is performed when the evaluation belongs to the first from positive.
The behavior information database 143 stores the behavior information transmitted from the in-vehicle unit 10. The behavior information includes the behavior of the vehicle detected by the in-vehicle unit 10 of the vehicle during traveling from the departure point of the vehicle to the destination point of the alighting of the vehicle by the user using the vehicle matching service, and information indicating the detection date and time. In the embodiment, when the vehicle on which the user is mounted arrives at the destination and the user gets off the vehicle, the in-vehicle unit 10 is configured to transmit the behavior information together with the driver ID from the in-vehicle unit 10 to the information providing server 100. This allows the behavior information detected by the in-vehicle unit 10 to be stored in the behavior information database 143 in association with the driver ID of the driver of the vehicle.
The evaluation information stored in the evaluation information database 142 and the behavior information stored in the behavior information database 143 can be associated with each other with reference to the driver ID so that the vehicle in which the user evaluates the driver (in other words, the vehicle in which the user is riding) can be matched with the vehicle in which the on-board unit 10 that transmitted the behavior information is installed.
The incentive information database 144 stores information on incentives given to the driver by the computation unit 130, for example, in accordance with the driver. Excitation is described later.
< vehicle-mounted Unit >
Fig. 3 is a block diagram illustrating the configuration of a main portion of the on-board unit 10 of fig. 1. The in-vehicle unit 10 includes a processing unit 1, an input unit 2, a camera 3, a sensor group 4, a storage unit 5, a communication unit 6, a microphone 7, a speaker 8, and a display 9.
The processing unit 1 is constituted by a microcomputer and its peripheral circuit. The processing unit 1 executes predetermined processing based on a signal input from the input unit 2, image information acquired by the camera 3, information acquired by the sensor group 4, data stored in the storage unit 5, a signal received from the outside of the in-vehicle unit 10 via the communication unit 6, and the like, and outputs a control signal to each unit inside the in-vehicle unit 10.
The processing section 1 includes an image analysis section 11. The image analysis unit 11 detects, for example, that the inter-vehicle distance between the host vehicle and another vehicle such as a preceding vehicle is too small, that the host vehicle is too close to a shoulder, and the like, based on the image information of the surroundings of the vehicle acquired by the camera 3.
The input unit 2 includes various switches operated by the driver, for example. Note that a touch panel provided on the display screen of the display 9 may be configured as the input unit 2. The input unit 2 transmits a signal input by operation of various switches and the like to the processing unit 1.
The camera 3 is constituted by a camera for ADAS (Advanced driver assistance systems, Advanced driving assistance system), for example. The camera 3 transmits the captured image information of the surroundings of the vehicle to the processing unit 1.
The sensor group 4 has various detectors that detect the operation amount of an operation member that changes the behavior of the vehicle in accordance with the operation amount and the running state of the vehicle. The detector includes, for example, a steering sensor 41 that detects an operation angle of a steering wheel, an acceleration sensor 42 that detects an operation amount of an accelerator pedal, a brake sensor 43 that detects an operation amount of a brake pedal, a vehicle speed sensor 44 that detects a traveling speed of the vehicle, an acceleration sensor 45 that detects acceleration, and the like. In the embodiment, the driving behavior of the driver and the behavior of the vehicle based on the driving behavior are detected by the sensors 41 to 45. The detection signal of the sensor group 4 corresponds to the behavior information of the vehicle. The sensor group 4 transmits a detection signal as behavior information of the vehicle to the processing portion 1.
The storage unit 5 includes a volatile or nonvolatile memory not shown. The storage unit 5 stores various programs and various data executed by the processing unit 1. The storage unit 5 stores behavior information detected by the sensor group 4 during traveling of the vehicle as traveling information 51. The storage unit 5 also stores a driver ID52 of a driver driving the vehicle. The driver ID is registered in the processing portion 1 when the driver starts working on the vehicle.
As described above, when the vehicle on which the user is mounted reaches the destination and the user gets off, the processing unit 1 reads the travel information 51 and the driver ID52 from the storage unit 5 and transmits them to the information providing server 100 via the communication unit 6. That is, every time the traveling of the vehicle in which the user is installed is completed, the behavior information of the vehicle detected by the sensor group 4 during the traveling of the vehicle is transmitted to the information providing server 100 together with the driver ID52, and is stored in the behavior information database 143.
The communication unit 6 is configured to be able to communicate with the information providing server 100 via a wireless public line such as a telephone network or an internet line and the communication network 40. The communication of the communication unit 6 is controlled by the processing unit 1.
The communication unit 6 is also capable of performing short-range wireless communication with the driver terminal 20 present in the vehicle.
The microphone 7 takes an indication that the driver is speaking. The voice signal collected by the microphone 7 is input to the processing unit 1 as voice data via, for example, an a/D converter.
The speaker 8 plays the voice message generated by the processing unit 1.
The display 9 displays information based on the signal output from the processing section 1.
< driver terminal >
The driver terminal 20 is provided with the driver-oriented content from the information providing server 100. For example, a mail is transmitted from the information providing server 100 to the driver terminal 20, and it is notified that the content for the driver is provided. The driver starts a browser application installed in the driver terminal 20 and views the content saved in the designated URL through the driver terminal 20.
Fig. 4 is a block diagram illustrating a main portion configuration of the driver terminal 20 of fig. 1. For example, a mobile wireless terminal represented by a smartphone is used. The driver terminal 20 includes a communication unit 201, an input/output unit 202, a control unit 203, and a storage unit 204.
The communication unit 201 is configured to be able to communicate with the information providing server 100 via a wireless public line such as a telephone network or an internet line and the communication network 40. The communication of the communication unit 201 is controlled by the control unit 203. The communication unit 201 can also perform short-range wireless communication with the in-vehicle unit 10 provided in the vehicle.
The input/output unit 202 includes a touch-operable display, for example. The input/output unit 202 transmits a signal based on an input by a touch operation or the like to the control unit 203, and displays information based on the signal output from the control unit 203 on a display or the like.
The control unit 203 is constituted by a microcomputer and its peripheral circuit. The control unit 203 executes predetermined processing based on a signal input via the input/output unit 202, a signal received from the outside via the communication unit 201, data stored in the storage unit 204, and the like, and outputs a control signal to the communication unit 201, the input/output unit 202, and the storage unit 204.
< user terminal >
As described above, the user terminal 30 is provided with an application for transmitting the evaluation information to the information providing server 100.
The user terminal 30 is constituted by a mobile wireless terminal or the like as in the driver terminal 20. That is, since the configuration of the main portion of the user terminal 30 is the same as that of the driver terminal 20 illustrated in fig. 4, the description thereof is omitted.
In the case of the user terminal 30, the function of the communication unit 201 for performing short-range wireless communication with the in-vehicle unit 10 may be omitted.
< description of the flow chart >
The information providing server 100 extracts content suitable for the driver's education information based on the evaluation information from the user riding in the vehicle from the plurality of contents stored in the content information database 141, and the flow of processing to provide the extracted content to the driver will be described with reference to fig. 5.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a flow of processing of a program executed by the arithmetic unit 130 of the information providing server 100. The arithmetic unit 130 starts a program for executing the processing shown in fig. 5, for example, once every predetermined period (for example, one month). Even if the routine shown in fig. 5 is not started, the evaluation information received from the user terminal 30 and the behavior information received from the in-vehicle unit 10 are stored in the evaluation information database 142 and the behavior information database 143, respectively.
At S10 (S: processing step), the arithmetic unit 130 obtains evaluation information from the evaluation information database 142 of the storage unit 140 via the evaluation information obtaining unit 131, and obtains behavior information from the behavior information database 143 via the behavior information obtaining unit 132, and the process proceeds to S20. The evaluation information and behavior information are acquired for each driver with reference to the driver ID.
At S20, the arithmetic unit 130 counts evaluations during a period (for example, the latest one month period) based on the acquired evaluation information, and proceeds to S30. Note that the statistical period is appropriately changed according to the interval between the execution of the program, for example, when the period for starting the program is set to be three months, the evaluation of the last three months is counted, when the period for starting the program is set to be a week, the evaluation of the last week is counted, or the like, in other words, according to the interval for providing the driver with the education information (contents).
At S30, based on the acquired behavior information, the arithmetic unit 130 proceeds to S40 for the statistical period (for example, the latest one month). As in the case of S20, the statistical period may be changed as appropriate.
In S40, the comparison unit 133 of the operation unit 130 compares the evaluation information acquired in S20 with the behavior information acquired in S30. For example, the process proceeds to S50 by comparing the evaluation information and behavior information in which the date and time information included in the evaluation information matches the date and time information included in the behavior information and is associated with the same driver ID.
At S50, the arithmetic unit 130 determines whether or not there is dangerous behavior in the behavior information. The dangerous behavior refers to sudden deceleration (rapid deceleration), sudden acceleration (rapid acceleration), and sudden steering operation (rapid steering). When the number of occurrences of the signal indicating the dangerous behavior in the detection signals of the sensor group 4 within the period (for example, the latest one month) exceeds the predetermined number of occurrences, the arithmetic unit 130 determines S50 as affirmative (S50: yes) and proceeds to S60. When the number of occurrences of the signal indicating the dangerous behavior in the period (for example, the latest one month) is equal to or less than the predetermined number of occurrences, the arithmetic unit 130 determines that S50 is negative (S50: no) and proceeds to S100.
In S60, the arithmetic unit 130 determines whether or not there is a low evaluation in the evaluation information. As described above, the low evaluation means a case of belonging to the penultimate or second in the case of five-level evaluation. If the number of occurrences of low evaluation in the evaluation information period (for example, the latest one month) exceeds the predetermined number of times, the arithmetic unit 130 determines that S60 is affirmative (S60: yes) and proceeds to S70. When the number of occurrences of the low evaluation in the period (for example, the latest one month) is equal to or less than the predetermined number, the arithmetic unit 130 determines that S60 is negative (S60: no) and proceeds to S90.
At S70, the content extraction unit 134 of the arithmetic unit 130 extracts a content corresponding to a combination of the dangerous behavior and the evaluation content from the content information database 141 of the storage unit 140, and the process proceeds to S80. The content corresponding to the combination of the dangerous behavior and the evaluation content means the content effective for the improvement point of the driving action determined based on the combination of the dangerous behavior and the evaluation content.
In S80, the output unit 136 of the arithmetic unit 130 outputs the extracted content to the driver terminal 20. Specifically, the information is distributed to the driver terminal 20 via the communication unit 110, and the processing of fig. 5 is ended.
In S90, in which the decision S60 is negative (S60: no), the content extracting unit 134 of the computing unit 130 extracts a content corresponding to the dangerous behavior from the content information database 141 of the storage unit 140 and proceeds to S80. The content corresponding to the dangerous behavior is the content effective for the improvement point of the driving behavior determined based on the dangerous behavior.
In S100, which proceeds to the negative of determination S50, the arithmetic unit 130 determines whether or not there is a low evaluation in the evaluation information. If the number of occurrences of a low evaluation in the evaluation information within a period (for example, the latest one month) exceeds a predetermined number of times, the arithmetic unit 130 determines that S100 is affirmative (S100: yes) and proceeds to S110. When the number of occurrences of the low evaluation in the period (for example, the latest one month) is equal to or less than the predetermined number, the arithmetic unit 130 determines that S100 is negative (S100: no) and proceeds to S120.
In S110, the content extraction unit 134 of the calculation unit 130 extracts a content corresponding to the evaluation content from the content information database 141 of the storage unit 140 and proceeds to S80. The content corresponding to the evaluation content is effective for the improvement point of the driving action determined based on the evaluation content.
In S120, which proceeds with the negative determination of S100 (S100: no), the arithmetic unit 130 determines whether or not the cumulative number of security actions is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The cumulative number of safety behaviors refers to the number of occurrences that a dangerous behavior is not included in behavior information stored during a period (for example, the last month) or that evaluation information stored during a period (for example, the last month) is a high evaluation. As described above, the high rating means that the five-level rating is the first highest.
When the cumulative number of safety behaviors is equal to or greater than the predetermined value, the arithmetic unit 130 determines that S120 is affirmative (S120: yes) and the process proceeds to S130. When the cumulative number of security actions is smaller than the predetermined value, the arithmetic section 130 determines that S120 is negative (S120: no) and proceeds to S150.
When the process proceeds to S130, the content extraction unit 134 does not extract the content. That is, the calculation unit 130 determines that there is no improvement point in the driving behavior during the period (for example, the latest one month). The calculation unit 130 determines not to provide the content to the driver and gives the driver an incentive to the driver, and the process proceeds to S140. The incentive is, for example, an increase in reward during the period, or the like.
In S140, the output unit 136 of the computing unit 130 outputs "given incentive" to the driver terminal 20. Please continue to pay attention to the message of safe driving. When the output unit 136 transmits a message to the driver terminal 20 via the communication unit 110, the process of fig. 5 is ended. The message transmitted to the driver terminal 20 may be processed as an example of the content.
When the process proceeds to S150, the content extraction unit 134 does not extract the content. That is, it is determined that there is no point of improvement in the driving behavior within the period (for example, the latest one month). The calculation unit 130 determines not to provide the content to the driver and proceeds to S140. When the process proceeds to S140 after S150, the output unit 136 of the arithmetic unit 130 outputs "no content to be distributed" to the driver terminal 20. Please continue to note the message "safe driving". When the output unit 136 transmits a message to the driver terminal 20 via the communication unit 110, the process of fig. 5 is ended. The message to be distributed to the driver terminal 20 may be handled as an example of the content.
< examples of distributed Contents >
Fig. 6A is a diagram illustrating a part of the content extracted by the content extraction section 134 in S70. For example, the "relationship between the inter-vehicle distance and the rapid deceleration" is the title of the content extracted by the content extraction unit 134. As shown in fig. 6A, the content extraction unit 134 extracts content of the education information suitable for the driver, which is effective for the improvement point of the driving action and is determined based on the combination of the evaluation content included in the evaluation information and the dangerous behavior included in the behavior information.
The items "short distance between vehicles", "slow braking", "weak braking", "fast acceleration" as examples of the evaluation content are items in which the user feels danger or terrorism while the vehicle is traveling. The "rapid deceleration", "rapid acceleration", and "rapid steering" as examples of the dangerous behavior are dangerous information detected while the vehicle on which the user is riding is traveling.
In the case of fig. 6A, when the user feels danger or terrorism while the vehicle is traveling, dangerous behavior is detected by the sensor group 4 of the in-vehicle unit 10. In this case, the evaluation content corresponding to the user is verified by the detection signal of the sensor group 4, and the reliability of the evaluation information is further improved. The higher the reliability of the evaluation information is, the higher the importance of the content is extracted by the content extraction portion 134, so that the improvement point of the driving action can be reliably improved.
In addition, the improvement of the driving behavior related to the dangerous behavior is more necessary than the improvement of the driving behavior not directly related to the dangerous behavior. The content extraction section 134 extracts a content of high importance for the improvement point of high necessity so that the improvement point of the driving action can be reliably improved. In the embodiment, the content such as the animation that is effective and important for the improvement point in order to prevent the driver from repeating the three-element error of the driving action related to the dangerous behavior and is suitable for the education information of the driver is provided.
Fig. 6B is a diagram illustrating a part of the content extracted by the content extraction section 134 in S110. For example, "please leave a sufficient car-to-car distance" is a message included in the content extracted by the content extraction unit 134. As shown in fig. 6B, the content extraction unit 134 extracts content of the education information suitable for the driver, which is effective for the improvement point of the driving action determined based on the evaluation content included in the evaluation information.
In the case of fig. 6B, when the user feels danger or terrorism while the vehicle is traveling, the sensor group 4 of the on-board unit 10 does not detect dangerous behavior. In this case, the evaluation content corresponding to the user is not confirmed by the detection signal of the sensor group 4, and the reliability of the evaluation information is lower than that in the case of fig. 6A. The calculation unit 130 determines that the degree of importance of the educational information effective for improving the driving behavior is lower than that in the case of fig. 6A, and causes the content extraction unit 134 to extract the content having the degree of importance lower than that in the case of fig. 6A, for example, the content having a short viewing time such as a message image instead of a moving image. In the embodiment, the content of the education information suitable for the driver is extracted, which is effective for the improvement point for the careful driving without causing the user to feel danger or terrorism.
In the case of proceeding to S90, although a dangerous behavior is detected by the sensor group 4 of the in-vehicle unit 10, the user does not feel danger or fear. The calculation unit 130 determines that the degree of importance of the educational information effective for improving the driving behavior is lower than that in the case of fig. 6B, and causes the content extraction unit 134 to extract the content having the lower degree of importance than that in the case of fig. 6B, for example, the voice prompt. In this case, although the contents extracted by the content extraction unit 134 are not shown, the content extraction unit 134 extracts the contents of the education information suitable for the driver, which is effective for the improvement point for careful driving without causing the dangerous behavior.
< procedure >
The program for executing the processing executed by the arithmetic unit 130 of the information providing server 100, that is, the processing illustrated in fig. 5, may be recorded in a computer-readable recording medium, or the program recorded in the recording medium may be provided to the information providing server 100. The computer-readable recording medium refers to a portable recording medium such as a flexible disk, a magneto-optical disk, an optical disk, and a memory card, and a storage device such as a hard disk incorporated in a computer system. The computer System includes hardware of an OS (Operating System) and peripheral devices, like the information providing server 100 of the example.
The computer-readable recording medium may include a medium that dynamically holds a program for a short time, such as a communication line when the program is transmitted via a communication line of a communication network 40 such as the internet or a telephone network, or a medium that holds a program for a certain period of time, such as a volatile memory in a computer system serving as a server or a client in this case. The program may be a program for realizing a part of the above-described functions, or may be a program for realizing the above-described functions by combining with a program already recorded in a computer system.
The information providing server 100 can receive a program recorded on a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) or the like, for example. The information providing server 100 can also receive the provision of the program via the communication line.
The program is transmitted from a server computer storing the program in a recording medium such as a hard disk to the information providing server 100 via a communication line of the communication network 40, for example. That is, the program is transmitted as a data signal by a carrier wave and transmitted via a communication line. The information providing server 100 receives the transmitted program and stores the program in the storage unit 140.
In this way, the program can be supplied as a computer program product readable by a computer in various forms such as a recording medium and a carrier wave.
The present embodiment can provide the following effects.
(1) The information providing server 100 provides the driver with information relating to at least one of the behavior of the vehicle on which the user is mounted and the driving behavior of the driver of the vehicle. The information providing server 100 includes: an evaluation information acquisition unit 131 that acquires evaluation information obtained by evaluating at least one of the behavior of the vehicle and the driving behavior of the user while the vehicle is traveling; a storage unit 140 that stores information of a plurality of contents for improving the behavior and driving behavior of the vehicle; a content extraction unit 134 that extracts content information to be provided to the driver from the information of the plurality of contents stored in the content information database 141 of the storage unit 140, based on the evaluation information acquired by the evaluation information acquisition unit 131; and an output unit 136 that outputs the information of the content extracted by the content extraction unit 134.
With this configuration, when providing a content effective for a point to be improved in the driving behavior of the driver, it is possible to extract information of the content from the perspective of the user who is riding in the vehicle. Therefore, as compared with the case where the information of the content is extracted based on the behavior of the vehicle detected by the sensor, the information of the content that is the education information suitable for the driver can be extracted and provided to the driver. Further, since the content based on the behavior of the vehicle perceived by the user who is riding the vehicle is extracted, it is expected that the satisfaction of the user is improved in the case of using as the education information of the driver. Further, the driver becomes more likely to accept the provision of the driving information.
(2) In the information providing server 100, the content extraction unit 134 extracts, as information to be provided to the driver, information of a content corresponding to an evaluation of a behavior and a driving action of the vehicle lower than a predetermined value from among the plurality of pieces of information of the content stored in the content information database 141 of the storage unit 140.
With this configuration, since the content based on the behavior of the vehicle evaluated by the user who is riding the vehicle is extracted, the information of the content effective for the point to be improved in the driving behavior of the driver can be extracted and provided to the driver.
(3) The information providing server 100 includes a behavior information acquiring unit 132 that acquires behavior information indicating a behavior detected by a traveling vehicle, and the content extracting unit 134 extracts content information to be provided to the driver based on the evaluation information acquired by the evaluation information acquiring unit 131 and the behavior information acquired by the behavior information acquiring unit 132.
With this configuration, as compared with the case where the content information is extracted based on one of the evaluation information and the behavior information, it is possible to extract the information that is effective for the improvement point of the driving behavior of the driver and that is suitable for the content of the education information of the driver.
(4) In the information providing server 100, the content extraction unit 134 extracts content information having different degrees of importance from among the plurality of pieces of content information stored in the content information database 141 of the storage unit 140, based on a combination of the evaluation information acquired by the evaluation information acquisition unit 131 and the behavior information acquired by the behavior information acquisition unit 132.
With this configuration, it is possible to extract information that is content of the education information suitable for the driver, based on the degree of importance of the point at which the driving of the driver should be improved, which is different depending on the combination of the evaluation information and the behavior information.
(5) In the information providing server 100, when the evaluation information is verified by the behavior information, the content extracting unit 134 extracts the information of the content having a higher degree of importance than the case where the evaluation information is not verified.
With this configuration, when the reliability of the evaluation information is high, it is possible to extract a content having a high degree of importance so that the improvement point of the driving behavior can be reliably improved.
The above embodiment can be modified into various modes. The following describes modifications.
(modification 1)
In the description of the embodiment, the driver of the vehicle equipped with the vehicle-allocating service for the user to go to the destination is taken as an example, but the present invention can also be applied to a case where the driver of a taxi is provided with content as education information.
In addition to the paid traveler transportation, the present invention can be applied to a case where a driver driving a transportation vehicle such as a staff of a company receiving the fee for free is provided with contents as education information. The user in this case is an employee who rides the transport vehicle, or the like.
(modification 2)
In the description of the embodiment, an example is described in which the driver views the content using the driver terminal 20 when the driver is provided with the content as the education information. When the vehicle driven by the driver is determined, the driver may view the content using the in-vehicle unit 10 of the driven vehicle. In this case, it is possible to provide the contents for the driver to the in-vehicle unit 10 and omit the driver terminal 20. However, the driver views the content through the in-vehicle unit 10, and is restricted when the vehicle is stopped.
(modification 3)
An example of the processing executed by the determination unit 135 of the calculation unit 130 of the information providing server 100 will be described. In modification 3, the determination unit 135 performs a determination process for improving the reliability of the evaluation information. In general, in the car-allocating service, when a user registers with the 1 st service entity, the user registers user information such as his/her name and credit card number. The determination unit 135 uses the registered user information for the determination process.
When the evaluation information is transmitted from the user terminal 30 to the information providing server 100, the determination unit 135 determines whether or not the user information transmitted together with the evaluation information from the user terminal 30 matches the registered user information. If they match, the evaluation information is determined to be valid. If they do not match, the evaluation information is determined to be invalid evaluation information and is excluded from the statistical result at S30. The invalid evaluation information is, for example, an evaluation that the driver pretends to be a false evaluation by the user in order to improve his/her own evaluation, or an evaluation that the third party intends to increase the number of occurrences of a low evaluation for the purpose of preventing business behavior.
In the case of the evaluation information made by the user who does not intend to make an invalid evaluation but is difficult to normally make an evaluation due to, for example, drinking after, the determination unit 135 determines that the evaluation information is evaluation information with low reliability and excludes the evaluation information from the statistical result of S30.
When the alcohol detector detects an alcohol concentration of a predetermined value or more in the case where the exhalation type alcohol detector is installed in the vehicle, or when the infrared body temperature sensor detects a body temperature of a predetermined value or more in the case where the infrared body temperature sensor is installed in the vehicle, the processing unit 1 of the in-vehicle unit 10 determines that it is difficult for the user in the vehicle to normally evaluate the alcohol concentration, and adds the reliability flag to the behavior information transmitted to the information providing server 100.
When the date and time information included in the evaluation information matches the date and time information included in the behavior information to which the reliability flag is added, and the date and time information and the behavior information to which the reliability flag is added have a correlation with the same driver ID, the determination unit 135 of the information providing server 100 determines that the evaluation information is low in reliability.
According to modification 3 described above, it is possible to ensure that invalid evaluation information and evaluation information with low reliability are not involved in determining the content as the education information for the driver.
One or more of the above embodiments and modifications may be arbitrarily combined, or modifications may be combined with each other.
The invention can provide proper information for the driver.
While the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made therein without departing from the scope of the disclosure of the claims to be described later.
