Abstract
本发明公开了一种共聚物作为第一种材料和第二种材料之间的粘合促进剂的应用,该共聚物由以下组分聚合而成:a)70-90%重量至少一种C2-C4烯烃,和b)10-30%重量至少一种单体,它选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C8单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C8二羧酸,以及这些单和二羧酸的酸酐;第一种材料包含不多于70%重量至少一种C2-C4聚烯烃,第二种材料包含不少于70%重量至少一种C2-C4聚烯烃。
Description
在许多领域,需要解决如何叠置不同材料的许多附加层并把它们永久地结合在一起的问题。在多层地面覆盖材料结构领域,这个问题显得特别紧迫。
因此,本发明涉及在欲接合在一起的两层之间使用粘合促进剂生产多层制品的方法,以及某些粘合促进剂的使用。最后,本发明涉及具有适宜粘合层的地面覆盖材料。
现在参考簇绒地毯的制造,更详细地描述本发明。簇绒地毯的制造涉及簇绒,即拉伸通过底布的纱绒或纱束,然后用粘合剂将其固定在基材上。该粘合剂通常含有聚合物,这类聚合物包括丁二烯-苯乙烯、丁二烯-丙烯腈、丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯、(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯、(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯、甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯、(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯或聚氨酯这些比例适当的共聚物。粘合剂最好以水分散液刷到基材上,然后干燥。
为了改进地毯的弹性以及绝热和隔音性能,织物衬里一般被层压即粘合到预制的织物面层上。常常用粉状聚乙烯加到粘合剂中,然后熔融来完成这一工作。聚乙烯通常能与织物衬里很好地粘合,但对粘合剂的附着力很不够。不利的结果是衬里部分脱层,特别是在通行较多的区域从地面覆盖材料上脱层。
DE4111455,DE4140580,EP538625,EP547533和EP595063充分地叙述了簇绒地毯的制造。EP595063提出用含聚酰胺的粘合剂与未熔融的纤维把织物衬里层压到基层上。这篇参考文献的主要目的似乎是要改善由不同材料制成的地毯的重复利用。US5332773特别提出用包含乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的混合物作簇绒基材和衬里之间的粘合促进剂,然而,在通行较多的区域,提出的叠层剂或粘合促进剂远远达不到地板覆盖材料的要求。
针剌毯地面覆盖材料与簇绒地毯产生类似的问题。基材和常用的含聚烯烃或聚乙烯层的底表面之间的粘合力一般也不能完全满足要求。
在其它技术应用方面,即相应的组合层必须永久地粘合在一起的技术领域,也存在这种粘合问题。
本发明的目的是提供一种借助粘合促进剂生产多层制品,特别是地毯的方法,其中至少一层含有聚烯烃。更详细地说,本发明提供一种用于永久地粘合聚乙烯和含有丁二烯-苯乙烯、丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯、丁二烯-丙烯腈、丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯、甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯或聚氨酯共聚物的层的粘合促进剂。本发明进一步的目的是提供层间粘合良好的地面覆盖材料。
我们发现通过使用要求保护的某种共聚物作粘合促进剂便可达到这些目的。
因此,本发明提供一种共聚物作为第一种和第二种材料之间的粘合促进剂的应用,该共聚物由以下组分聚合而成:
a)70-90%重量至少一种C2-C4烯烃,和
b)10-30%重量至少一种单体,该单体选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C8单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C8二羧酸,以及这些单羧酸和二羧酸的酸酐;第一种材料包含不大于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,第二种材料包含不少于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃。
用作组分a)的优选的烯烃单体是乙烯和/或丙烯,C2-C4烯烃与其它烯烃的混合物,特别是乙烯与至多10摩尔%高级单烯烃(如己烯或辛烯)的混合物。
优选使用这样一种共聚物,其中至少一种单体b)选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C5单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C5二羧酸,和这些单-和二羧酸的酸酐。进一步优选选用的单体b)选自丙烯酸、马来酸及其酸酐。特别优选的共聚物是乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物。
特别适用于本发明目的的用作粘合促进剂的物质是可从BASFR获得的聚合物分散体,商标名为EpotalR DS4024X和PoligenR WE3。
优选的共聚物重均分子量为15000-25000,熔融粘度最好为10-150pas。这些粘度值使用产自Physica的MC10仪器于200℃和600转/分下测定,以Couette排列其剪切距离从0.6mm起和长度为21mm。
下述条件下能达到特别优异的粘合促进效果,即第一种材料包括不少于50%重量的至少一种聚合物,该聚合物选自聚氨酯和共聚物,该共聚物构成中不少于90%重量的单体是下述单体对或三个一组的单体之一:丁二烯-苯乙烯,丁二烯-丙烯腈,丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯,甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酯酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯最好是C1-C8烷醇酯,特别是正丁醇,2-乙基己醇,甲醇和乙醇的酯。
当第一种材料包含至少5%重量的至少一种具有至少一个酸基(特别是羧基)或酰胺基的聚合物时所得结果更加优良。酸基可被部分中和或全部中和,合适的中和剂是碱金属氢氧化物,胺,特别是氨。
本发明还提供一种由第一种材料、粘合促进剂和第二种材料生产多层制品的方法,将粘合促进剂施加到第一种材料表面,第一种材料包括不大于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,并使如此处理过的表面与第二种材料接触,第二种材料包括不少于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,该方法包括使用这样一种粘合促进剂,该粘合促进剂是一种共聚物,它由以下组分聚合而成:
a)70-90%重量至少一种C2-C4烯烃,和
b)10-30%重量至少一种单体,该单体选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C8单酸酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C8二羧酸,和这些单和二羧酸的酸酐。
该方法最好使用一种共聚物作粘合促进剂,其中至少一种单体b)选自α,β单烯属不饱和C3-C5单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C5二羧酸,和这些单和二羧酸的酸酐。进一步优选的单体b)选自丙烯酸,马来酸及其酸酐。特别优选的共聚物是乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物。
在优选的方法中,共聚物的重均分子量为15000-25000,共聚物的熔融粘度(用上面说明的方法测定)优选为10-150pas,。
本发明的方法特别是当使用下述第一种材料时得到优异的结果,该第一种材料包括不少于50%重量的至少一种聚合物,该聚合物选自聚氨酯和共聚物结构中不少于90%重量的单体是下面的单体对和三个一组的单体之一的共聚物:丁二烯-苯乙烯,丁二烯-丙烯腈,丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯,甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯,其中,(甲基)丙烯酸酯优选的是C1-C8烷醇酯,特别是正丁醇、2-乙基己醇,甲醇和乙醇的酯。
当第一种材料包括至少5%重量的有至少一个酸基,特别是羧基或酰胺基的至少一种聚合物时,该方法的结果更优良。酸基可被部分中和或全部中和。合适的中和剂是碱金属氢氧化物,胺类,特别是氨。
优选的方法中,粘合促进剂以低熔融粉末或聚合物水分散液的形式被应用。合适的聚合物水分散液的制备是已知的,并在EP024034,DE3420168和US4613679中作了说明。粘合促进剂优选的用量是0.1-1000克/米2,特别是20-50克/米2。添加量以添加的干重为基准。可采用喷雾、成膜、底涂、刮涂或印刷的方法施加到织物基材上。
本发明特别地提供下述一种方法,其中,带有第一层衬里(第一种材料,预涂层)的织物支承材料、特别是地毯,借助于所述的粘合促进剂粘合到第二层衬里上,特别是织物第二衬里上。该方法中,或者含聚烯烃的第二层衬里本身是第二种材料,或者用聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯-丙烯-二烯共聚物层或类似的含高级聚烯烃的层涂到第二层衬里上。预涂层由常规聚合物分散液组成,例如,丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物以及其它上面提到的优选的第一种材料。预涂层通常以水分散液应用,可填充或不填充填料,如白垩、三水合铝或硫酸钡。预涂层也可包含抗静电剂和阻燃剂,例如磷酸酯衍生物和具有吸湿性的低级羧酸盐。
本发明还提供一种地面覆盖材料,它包括用一种粘合促进剂粘合在一起的第一种材料层和第二种材料层,第一种材料包括不大于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,第二种材料包含不少于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,其中的粘合促进剂是一种共聚物,它由以下组分聚合而成:
a)70-90%重量至少一种C2-C4烯烃,和
b)10-30%重量至少一种单体,该单体选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C8单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C8二羧酸,以及这些单和二羧酸的酸酐。
优选的地面覆盖材料中所用的粘合促进剂包括至少一种单体b),单体b)选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C5单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C5二羧酸,以及这些单和二羧酸的酸酐。更优选的单体b)选自丙烯酸,马来酸及其酸酐,特别优选的共聚物是乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物。
被用作粘合促进剂的共聚物的重均分子量为15000-25000,该共聚物的熔融粘度(测量方法如上述)最好为10-150Pas,。
对于两种材料的粘合,下述地面覆盖材料提供了特殊的优越性,其第一种材料包含不少于50%重量的至少一种聚合物,该聚合物选自聚氨酯和共聚物结构中不少于90%重量的单体是下述单体对或三个一组的单体之一的共聚物:丁二烯-苯乙烯,丁二烯-丙烯腈,丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯,甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯,其中(甲基)丙烯酸酯优选的是C1-C8烷醇酯,特别是正丁醇、2-乙基己醇、甲醇和乙醇的酯。
下述地面覆盖材料也是特别好的,该地面覆盖材料中的第一种材料包括至少5%重量的具有至少一个酸基(特别是羧基)或酰胺基的至少一种聚合物。酸基可被部分中和或全部中和。合适的中和剂是碱金属氢氧化物、胺类,特别是氨。
为本发明之目的,对于地面覆盖材料,特别好的是,其中带有第一层衬里的簇绒地毯支承材料用所述的粘合促进剂粘合到第二层衬里上,特别是织物第二层衬里上。
实施例
首先,将用聚酰胺纤维簇绒的聚酯纺粘支承材料与预涂层(第一种材料)压固,该预涂层包含已知的通常为羧化的聚合物水分散液,含或不含填料。如此处理过的支承材料放在室验室干燥箱中在130℃下干燥,将聚乙烯粉末LupolenR 2410TQ276撒在预涂层上,其量为约250克/米2(第二种材料)。
簇绒支承材料毛重约1000克/米2,预涂层增加大约800克/米2干重(参考表1),预涂层包含白垩或三水合铝作填料(参考表1)。
为了制备代表现有技术的比较例,织物衬里(一般为聚酯针刺毡),在用红外辐射加热此粉末后,被层压成下层。
按照本发明的实施例中,在应用聚乙烯层之前,用发泡PoligenR WE3作粘合促进剂施加到预涂层上,用量为25克/米2干重,并在130℃干燥。PoligenR WE3是乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物水分散液,该水分散液具有DIN53211粘度范围为15-60秒。
最后,用张力试验机Zwick 1425型(ulm,德国),在23℃和50%相对湿度测定预涂层与牢固粘附到织物衬里上的聚乙烯之间的粘合力,结果见表1。

在比较例中不用粘合促进剂,与织物衬里层粘合的聚乙烯层会从预涂层上脱开,而簇绒基材牢固地粘合到上面,根据所用预涂层分散液的性质,使用大约10-30N/5cm的力,按照本发明生产的簇绒地毯,室温下不能使之脱层,使用更大的力将使织物衬里撕裂。
Claims (28)
1.一种共聚物作为第一和第二种材料之间的粘合促进剂的应用,该共聚物由以下组分聚合而成:
a)70-90%重量至少一种C2-C4烯烃,和
b)10-30%重量至少一种单体,该单体选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C8单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C8二羧酸,以及这些单羧酸和二羧酸的酸酐;第一种材料包含不大于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,第二种材料包含不少于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃。
2.根据权利要求1的应用,其中至少一种单体b)选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C5单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C5二羧酸,和这些单和二羧酸的酸酐。
3.根据权利要求2的应用,其中至少一种单体b)选自丙烯酸、马来酸及其酸酐。
4.根据权利要求1或2的应用,其中共聚物是乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任一项的应用,其中共聚物的重均分子量为15000-25000。
6.根据权利要求1-4中任一项的应用,其中共聚物的熔融粘度是10-150pas。
7.根据权利要求1-4中任一项的应用,其中第一种材料包括不少于50%重量的至少一种聚合物,该聚合物选自聚氨酯和共聚物,该共聚物构成中不少于90%重量的单体是下述单体对或三个一组的单体之一:丁二烯一苯乙烯,丁二烯-丙烯腈,丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯,甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯最好是C1-C8烷醇酯,特别是正丁醇、2-乙基己醇、甲醇和乙醇的酯。
8.根据权利要求1-4中任一项的应用,其中第一种材料包含至少5%重量具有至少一个酸基、特别是羧基或酰胺基的至少一种聚合物。

15.根据权利要求9-12中任一项的方法,其中第一种材料包括不少于50%重量的至少一种聚合物,该聚合物选自聚氨酯和共聚物结构中不少于90%重量的单体是下面的单体对和三个一组的单体之一的共聚物:丁二烯-苯乙烯,丁二烯-丙烯腈,丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯,甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯,其中,(甲基)丙烯酸酯优选的是C1-C8烷醇酯,特别是正丁醇、2-乙基己醇、甲醇和乙醇的酯。
16.根据权利要求9-12中任一项的方法,其中,第一种材料包括至少5%重量的具有至少一个酸基、特别是羧基或酰胺基的至少一种聚合物。
17.根据权利要求9-12中任一项的方法,其中粘合促进剂以低熔融粉末或聚合物水分散液应用。
18.根据权利要求9-12中任一项的方法,其中,以干重为基准,粘合促进剂的用量为0.1-1000克/米2,优选20-50克/米2。
19.根据权利要求9-12中任一项的方法,其中带有第一层衬里的织物支承材料,、特别是地毯,借助于一种所述的粘合促进剂粘合到第二层衬里上,特别是织物第二衬里上。
20.一种地面覆盖材料,包括用一种粘合促进剂粘合在一起的第一种材料层和第二种材料层,第一种材料包括不大于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,第二种材料包含不少于70%重量聚合的至少一种C2-C4烯烃,其中的粘合促进剂是一种共聚物,它由以下组分聚合而成:
a)70-90%重量至少一种C2-C4烯烃,和
b)10-30%重量至少一种选自α,β-单烯属不饱和C3-C8单羧酸,α,β-单烯属不饱和C4-C8二羧酸,以及这些单和二羧酸的酸酐。

25.根据权利要求20-23任一项的地面覆盖材料,其中共聚物的熔融粘度为10-150pas。
26.根据权利要求20-25任一项的地面覆盖材料,其中第一种材料包含不少于50%重量的至少一种聚合物,该聚合物选自聚氨酯和共聚物结构中不少于90%重量的单体是下述单体对或三个一组的单体之一的一种共聚物:丁二烯-苯乙烯,丁二烯-丙烯腈,丁二烯-丙烯腈-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-乙酸乙烯酯,甲基丙烯酸酯-丙烯酸酯,(甲基)丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯-丙烯腈,乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯,其中(甲基)丙烯酸酯优选的是C1-C8烷醇酯,特别是正丁醇、2-乙基己醇、甲醇和乙醇的酯。
27.根据权利要求20-23任一项的地面覆盖材料,其中,第一种材料包括至少5%重量的具有至少一个酸基、特别是羧基或酰胺基的至少一种聚合物。
