Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a video-based book recommendation method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step S110, receiving an access operation of a user to a video channel page, and displaying the video channel page.
The video channel refers to a channel in an electronic book APP or an electronic book reader, and the video channel page is used for playing recommended videos for a user. The electronic book APP or the electronic book reader generally includes a bookshelf channel, a book city channel, a user channel, and the like, in the manner of this embodiment, a video channel is added, and the video channel may be an independent channel, parallel to the above channels, or a sub-channel below the book city channel, which is not limited in this invention.
The access operation to the video channel page is used to open the video channel page, for example, the user clicks on the video channel TAB in the bottom navigation bar, which is identified as the access operation to the video channel page.
Step S120, any recommended video and at least one recommended book associated with the recommended video are presented on a video channel page. And switching to the next recommended video and at least one recommended book associated with the next recommended video for presentation when receiving the switching operation of the user in the video channel page.
For each candidate video, at least one book related to the candidate video is found in advance, an association relationship between the candidate video and the books is established, and at least one recommended book related to the candidate video is the book having the association relationship with the candidate video. For example, if the similarity between the classification label of the candidate video and the classification label of the book is calculated to be high, the association relationship between the two is established, and if the candidate video deduces the content plot of the original book, the association relationship between the two is established.
And screening a plurality of recommended videos aiming at the user from the candidate videos, playing each recommended video in a video channel page, and presenting at least one recommended book having an association relation with the recommended video in the process of playing any recommended video. Specifically, basic information such as book covers, author names, book blurbs and the like of at least one recommended book having an association relationship with the recommended video is presented.
And only one recommended video can be played in the video channel page, when the switching operation of the user in the video channel page is received, the next recommended video is switched to be played, and at least one recommended book associated with the next recommended video is presented. And when a pause instruction is monitored, the recommended video is paused to be played, and the pause instruction can be triggered by pause operation of the user, channel switching operation of the user, trigger operation of the user on other elements, and pulling out or disconnecting of the earphone.
Fig. 2a is a schematic diagram of a video channel page according to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2a, a recommended video is displayed in a vertical screen in an area 211, and meanwhile, recommended books associated with the recommended video, such as recommended books displayed in an area 212, are displayed, and a user may also view more recommended books through a sliding operation, for example, each recommended book may be displayed in a transparent layer overlaid on the recommended video.
According to the video-based book recommendation method provided by the embodiment, the access operation of a user to a video channel page is received, and the video channel page is displayed; presenting any recommended video and at least one recommended book associated with the recommended video on a video channel page; and switching to the next recommended video and at least one recommended book associated with the next recommended video for presentation when receiving the switching operation of the user in the video channel page. Through the method, the video channels are integrated in the electronic book platform, each recommended video is played through the video channels, and the recommended books related to the recommended videos are presented at the same time, compared with a text book recommendation mode, the display of the videos on the information is more visual, the attention of the user can be attracted, and if the user is interested in the played videos, the user is likely to be interested in the recommended books related to the videos, and then the recommended books are searched and checked, so that the effect of recommending the books through the videos is achieved, the user is convenient to screen the interested books, and the book click conversion rate can be improved.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a video-based book recommendation method according to another embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 3, the method includes the following steps:
step S310, for any candidate video, at least one recommended book associated with the candidate video is determined according to the configuration information of the candidate video.
The candidate video can be made and uploaded by a platform registered user or a platform operator, specifically, the video data is uploaded through a candidate video uploading page and the configuration information of the video is filled, the page comprises a video uploading entry and filling entries of various information, the user uploads the video through the video uploading entry, and the configuration information of the candidate video, including video name, video introduction, classification tag, original book information, extended book information and the like, is filled through the filling entries of the information. And various pieces of configuration information can be presented to the user as identification information of the candidate videos. For example, the book in which the deduced story content of the candidate video is located is the original book of the candidate video, and the extended book may be a strongly related book of the original book, such as other books of the series to which the original book belongs, other books of the author of the original book, and so on. The way for the user to fill out the classification tag may be: inputting a text through a filling inlet of the classification label, associating a label closest to the input text from the existing book label library by a background, displaying the label, and clicking a proper classification label by a user; the original book information, the extended book information and the classification labels configured here are all used for determining the recommended books associated with the candidate videos in the subsequent process.
After receiving the uploaded candidate video and the configuration information thereof, carrying out verification processing, including mandatory item verification, namely verifying whether the mandatory item is completely filled, and reminding if the unfilled mandatory item exists, wherein the mandatory item comprises: video name, video introduction and classification label, original book information and extended book information are optional items. In addition, security check can be performed, such as checking whether the content of the candidate video is illegal.
Optionally, whenever a new candidate video is online, performing online reminding of the new video, for example, displaying a preset identifier at an access entrance of a video channel page, so as to inform a user that the new candidate video is online, so as to improve the access rate of the video channel page; or, a new video online prompt is pushed to the user to prompt the user that a new video is online, so that the opening rate of the APP is improved.
If the configuration information of the candidate video includes original book information (such as an original book ID or a book name) and/or extended book information (such as an extended book ID or a book name), determining a recommended video associated with the candidate video by: inquiring a book library according to the original book information of the candidate video, and determining at least one book obtained by inquiry as at least one first recommended book associated with the candidate video; and/or querying a book library according to the extended book information of the candidate video, and determining at least one queried book as at least one second recommended book associated with the candidate video. And establishing the association relation between each book and the candidate video, wherein the book having the association relation with the candidate video is the recommended book associated with the candidate video. In the method, original book information and/or extended book information of the candidate video are configured in advance, and the recommended books associated with the candidate video can be determined by directly querying the book library, so that the efficiency of matching the video and the books can be improved, and the matching degree of the video and the recommended books can be improved.
If the configuration information of the candidate video comprises the classification label, determining a recommended video associated with the candidate video by the following method: and obtaining at least one algorithm recommended book by adopting a preset recommendation algorithm according to the classification label of the candidate video, and determining the at least one algorithm recommended book as at least one third recommended book associated with the candidate video. In the method, based on the classification labels of the candidate videos and the classification labels of the books, a plurality of algorithm recommended books are obtained through calculation by a recommendation algorithm, and the algorithm recommended books are used as a third recommended video associated with the candidate videos, wherein the similarity between the classification labels of the third recommended books associated with the candidate videos and the classification labels of the candidate videos is higher than a preset threshold. In the method, the recommended books related to the candidate videos are determined through the recommendation algorithm, the recommended books related to the candidate videos can be increased, and a larger screening range is provided for the user.
In addition, after each recommended book associated with the candidate video is determined in the above manner, books included in the book clustering result may also be used as recommended books associated with the candidate video by performing book clustering on each recommended book.
In an alternative mode, the display priorities of different types of recommended books associated with the candidate videos are different, the display priorities represent the correlation between the candidate videos and the recommended books, the display priority of a first recommended book (a book queried according to original book information) is higher than the display priority of a second recommended book (a book queried according to extended book information), the display priority of the second recommended book is higher than the display priority of a third recommended book (an algorithm recommended book), and when the recommended books associated with the recommended videos are presented, the arrangement order or the display order of the recommended books is determined according to the display priority order of the recommended books.
In an alternative embodiment, if any of the candidate videos includes an audio clip of a voiced book, original book information of the candidate video is configured according to book information of the voiced book, and classification tags of the candidate videos are configured according to classification tags of the voiced book. In this way, related personnel are supported to make candidate videos based on audio books in a library, audio clips of the audio books can be obtained in a screen recording manner, the candidate videos can be made according to image-text mixed and cut contents, screen scrolling contents and audio clips of the audio books, can also be made according to image-text mixed and cut contents and audio clips of the audio books, and the manner of making the candidate videos based on the audio clips of the audio books includes but is not limited to the above manner. In this case, the original book information of the candidate video is the book information of the audio book, and the other related configuration information of the candidate video may directly use the description information of the audio book.
In another alternative, the candidate videos are further divided into a general video and a single-book video, the general video refers to a candidate video capable of being associated with a plurality of recommended books, the single-book video refers to a candidate video capable of being associated with only one recommended book, and only the recommended book with the highest display priority can be associated with the single-book video, that is, the single recommended video is only used for recommending the recommended book with the highest relevance.
And step S320, receiving the access operation of the user to the video channel page, and selecting at least one recommended video for the user from each candidate video.
After receiving an access operation of a user to a video channel page, firstly screening a plurality of recommended videos from a candidate video pool aiming at the user, and specifically screening at least one recommended video from each candidate video according to the score of at least one evaluation dimension of each candidate video. Further, candidate videos distributed to the user are filtered out, and repeated recommendation to the user is avoided.
Wherein the at least one evaluation dimension comprises at least one of the following dimensions: a distribution time dimension, a classification preference dimension, a video effect dimension, an import time dimension, and a book consumption dimension. Regarding the distribution time dimension, the scoring factor is the latest distribution timestamp, if the candidate video is not distributed, the latest distribution timestamp is 0, and the candidate video with the smaller latest distribution timestamp (that is, the latest distribution is less distant from the current time) is preferentially distributed, so that the score of the dimension is smaller when the latest distribution timestamp is larger, and conversely, the score of the dimension is larger when the latest distribution timestamp is smaller. Regarding the classification preference dimension, the scoring factor includes a classification label of the candidate video and a classification label of the user preference, and specifically, the score of the classification preference dimension of the candidate video is obtained according to the matching degree between the classification label of the candidate video and the classification label of the user preference, for example, the candidate video has two classification labels dc1 and dc2, the matching degree with the classification label of the user preference is dc1_ value and dc2_ value, respectively, the score of the dimension is dc1_ value + dc1_ value, and candidate videos with higher scores of the classification preference dimension are preferentially distributed. Regarding the video effect dimension, the scoring factors of the video effect dimension comprise the complete reading rate and the book click conversion rate of the video effect dimension, for example, the product of the complete reading rate and the book click conversion rate is calculated to obtain the score of the dimension, and candidate videos with higher scores of the video effect dimension are preferentially distributed; regarding the import time dimension, the scoring factor refers to the time when the candidate video is successfully imported into the platform video library, and preferentially distributes the candidate video with earlier import time, that is, the longer the interval between the import time of the candidate video and the current time is, the higher the score of the import time dimension of the candidate video is; and for the book consumption dimension, the score of the dimension is used for evaluating the putting effect on the third-party platform, and the candidate video with the higher score of the book consumption dimension is preferentially distributed according to the click rate, the downloading amount and the like of the recommended book associated with the candidate video in the third-party platform.
If the recommended video is screened according to the scores of the multiple evaluation dimensions, obtaining the total score of the candidate video according to the scores of the multiple evaluation dimensions of the candidate video; and screening at least one recommended video from each candidate video according to the total score of each candidate video. Optionally, summing the scores of multiple evaluation dimensions of the candidate video to obtain a total score of the candidate video; or calculating a weighted sum according to preset weight values of all evaluation dimensions and scores of multiple evaluation dimensions of the candidate video to obtain a total score of the candidate video. In the screening aspect, a plurality of candidate videos with total scores higher than a score threshold value can be screened as recommended videos, or sorting can be performed according to the total scores of the candidate videos, so that candidate videos at the top N bits are screened as recommended videos, and N is an integer greater than 1. Through the mode, the scores of the candidate videos are determined from the multiple evaluation dimensions, then the scores of all the dimensions are summarized to obtain the total score, the recommended videos are screened according to the total score, and the rationality of screening the recommended videos is guaranteed.
In an optional mode, based on the total scores of the candidate videos, the recommended videos are classified and screened, and in each candidate video under each classification, the candidate videos with the total scores at the top M bits are screened out to serve as the recommended videos, where M is an integer greater than 1. For example, the candidate videos with 20 top total scores are screened from the candidate videos under the hallucinations classification, the ancient speech classification, the modern speech classification and the novel classification respectively to serve as the recommended videos.
In an optional mode, different distribution strategies are adopted for different types of users, and in the mode, the types of the users need to be analyzed firstly, and then recommended videos are selected according to the corresponding distribution strategies. And if the user is a naturally newly added user, screening at least one recommended video aiming at the user from the candidate videos of which the scores of the book consumption dimensions reach the preset values. The naturally newly added user is a user who autonomously downloads the APP and does not drain the APP through promotion content, for the naturally newly added user, because the preference of the naturally newly added user is not obtained temporarily, a high-quality video is preferentially distributed to the naturally newly added user, at least one recommended video for the user is screened out from each candidate video with the score of the book consumption dimension reaching the preset value, for example, the candidate video with the consumption reaching the preset value within two weeks is preferentially screened out from the naturally newly added user as the recommended video, and therefore the user retention is facilitated to be improved. If the user is a releasing user (equivalent to an old user of the platform), the user can recall according to user preference, multi-factor sorting is adopted, namely the total scores of the candidate videos are determined based on multiple evaluation dimensions, and recommended videos are sorted and screened according to the total scores of the candidate videos. In the method, the recommended videos are screened according to the types of the users, and the matching degree of the screened recommended videos and the requirements of the users is guaranteed.
Step S330, displaying a video channel page, and presenting any recommended video, at least one recommended book associated with the recommended video, and at least one function entry corresponding to the at least one recommended book on the video channel page.
And switching to the next recommended video, at least one recommended book associated with the next recommended video and the corresponding function entry for presentation whenever switching operation of the user in the video channel page is received.
In an alternative mode, after receiving an access operation of a user to a video channel page, automatically playing a recommended video arranged at the first position in each recommended video and presenting a recommended book and a corresponding function entry associated with the recommended video in the video channel page, and then switching presentation contents (including the recommended video and the recommended book and the function entry thereof) each time a switching operation of the user is received.
In another optional mode, after receiving an access operation of a user to a video channel page, firstly presenting a recommended video list containing each recommended video, responding to a preset trigger operation of any recommended video in the recommended video list, playing the recommended video, presenting each recommended book associated with the recommended video and a corresponding function entry; after that, every time a switching operation by the user is received, switching of the presentation contents (including the recommended video and the recommended book thereof and the function entry) is performed.
The recommended videos have an arrangement order, for example, the recommended videos are ordered according to the order of the total score from high to low, and the recommended videos are played in sequence in a video channel page. The switching operation for switching the recommended video may be a sliding operation in a specific direction, for example, a user's up-sliding touch operation is used to switch to a next recommended video of the currently played recommended video, and a user's down-sliding touch operation is used to switch to a previous recommended video of the currently played recommended video.
In addition, when the user accesses the video channel page for the first time or the time length from the last time of accessing the video channel page exceeds a preset value or the user accesses the video channel page each time, the switching mode of the recommended video is reminded, the user is prompted what operation is performed to switch the recommended video, and the user experience can be improved.
Specifically, basic information such as book covers, author names, book profiles and the like of each recommended book associated with the recommended video is presented. Further, for a first recommended book (i.e. a book queried according to the original book information) associated with the recommended video, original identification information is also displayed to indicate to the user that the recommended book is an original book corresponding to the video.
In an optional mode, in the process of presenting the recommended video, if it is detected that the playing progress of the recommended video reaches a preset threshold, popping up a reading function entry corresponding to a target recommended book associated with the recommended video; and receiving a third preset trigger operation of the user on the reading function entrance, and skipping to display the reading page of the target recommended book associated with the recommended video. In the method, when the playing progress of the recommended video reaches a preset value, which indicates that a user is interested in the recommended video, a reading function entry of a target recommended book of the recommended video is popped up, for example, a book cover is popped up above a progress bar of the recommended video, the book cover area contains the reading function entry, and when the user clicks the book cover, the user can jump to a reading page of the target recommended book. By the mode, when the reading entrance of the target recommended book pops up again when the user is interested is determined, the recommendation strength of the target recommended book can be increased, and compared with a continuous popping mode, the mode of popping up again when the user is interested can avoid disturbance to the user.
The target recommended book associated with the recommended video is a recommended book with the highest display priority in at least one recommended book associated with the target recommended book, the display priority of the recommended book indicates the correlation degree with the recommended video, and then the recommended book with the highest display priority is the recommended book with the highest correlation degree with the recommended video.
Step S340, receiving a first trigger operation for any function entry of any recommended book of the user, and executing corresponding processing of the function entry on the recommended book.
Wherein the at least one functional inlet is at least one of: a purchasing function entrance, a bookshelves function entrance and a reading function entrance; the purchase function entry is used for jumping to a book purchase page of the corresponding recommended book, the bookshelf adding function entry is used for adding the corresponding recommended book into the bookshelf, and the reading function entry is used for jumping to a reading page of the corresponding recommended book. Wherein, the first trigger operation of the function entrance can be a click operation or a long-time press operation.
That is, if the user clicks the purchase function entry of any recommended book, jumping to the purchase page of the recommended book, so that the user can purchase the recommended book; if the clicking operation of the user on the bookrack adding function inlet of any recommended book is received, adding the recommended book into the bookrack of the user; and if the user clicks the reading function entry of any recommended book, jumping to the reading page of the recommended book, and if the user has the reading record of the recommended book, jumping to the reading page of the latest recorded reading position. Through the mode, when a user is interested in recommended books by watching videos, the user can directly interact with the books through the functional entrance, the user does not need to quit a video channel page and then search for the books, convenience is provided for the user, and the click conversion rate of the user of the books can be further improved.
In addition, if the recommended book is the book purchased by the user, the purchase function entry is not presented for the recommended book, but prompt information is presented for informing the user that the recommended book is purchased; if the recommended book is the bookshelf book of the user, the bookshelves function entrance is not presented for the recommended book, and prompt information is presented to inform the user that the recommended book is already bookshelves.
In an optional manner, the video channel page is further configured to present an extended recommendation entry, and presenting at least one recommended book associated with the recommended video on the video channel page specifically includes: dividing at least one recommended book associated with the recommended video into a first recommended book group and a second recommended book group according to the display priority order of each recommended book associated with the recommended video; presenting at least one recommended book contained in the first recommended book group; and receiving a second preset trigger operation of the user on the extension recommendation entrance, and presenting at least one recommended book contained in the second recommended book group.
In the method, each recommended book is divided into two groups according to the display priority order of each recommended book associated with the recommended video, each recommended book in the first group is presented first, and each recommended book in the second group is presented when the user triggers the extended recommended entry. Optionally, at least one recommended book with the highest display priority in at least one recommended book associated with the recommended books is classified into a first recommended book group, and other recommended books are classified into a second recommended book group. Optionally, at least one recommended book with the lowest presentation priority in the at least one recommended book associated with the recommended books is classified into the second recommended book group, and the other recommended books are classified into the first recommended book group. Through the method, all recommended books are presented to the user in batches, the problem that the video content is shielded due to the fact that all recommended books are presented once can be avoided, a progressive recommendation method based on the relevancy between the videos and the books can be achieved, and the recommendation effect can be improved.
