Background
The primary piglets have less nutrient storage in bodies, the body fat content is only 2% of the body weight, the glycogen storage in bodies is very limited, and the death rate of the piglets is high within 3 days of the primary piglets, so that the economic benefit of pig raising is greatly reduced. For this reason, sufficient nutrition should be provided for piglets as soon as possible, but breast milk is the basis for the growth and development of piglets, which can not only provide the piglets with rich nutrients, but also be rich in immunoglobulins, which can enhance the passive immunity of the piglets against attack by pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, improving the nutrition level of breast milk is important for the health condition of the suckling piglets. In order to achieve the purpose, the prior health care method of adding antibiotics into daily ration of sows is mostly adopted in production, so that the morbidity of the pigs is reduced, the lactation and immunity performances of the sows are improved, but the toxic and side effects of the abuse of the antibiotics are serious. With the implementation of the policy that antibiotics are completely prohibited from being used in feeds in China, the mortality of suckling piglets is increased along with the reduction of the immunity and lactation performance of sows. Therefore, the natural, green and safe functional feed additive product which can improve the lactation performance of sows and improve the immunity and growth potential of piglets is developed and developed, and has very important practical significance for the healthy development of animal husbandry.

As shown in Table 2, the invention can improve the colostrum components and the immune index of the sow, the compound Chinese herbal medicine obviously improves the milk protein rate, lactose rate and non-milk fat solid content of the colostrum of the sow, simultaneously obviously reduces the urea nitrogen content, and obviously improves the immunoglobulin G in the milk, which indicates that the invention can improve the milk components of the sow and improve the immunoglobulin content in the milk. Meanwhile, according to the maximum adding proportion required by the invention of 5.5%, the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive is used for feeding sows, so that the milk protein rate, lactose rate and non-milk fat solid content of the colostrum of the sows are obviously improved, the urea nitrogen content is obviously reduced, the immunoglobulin G in the milk is obviously improved, and 5.5% of the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive is added in daily ration of the sows, so that the milk components of the sows can be improved, and the immunoglobulin content in the milk can be improved.
The effect on the growth performance of the piglets is shown in Table 3.
TABLE 3 Table 3
Table 3 shows that the growth performance of the suckling piglets using the feed group is obviously better than that of the control group, the average weight of the newborn piglets, the weight of weaning litter and the weight of weaning individuals of the compound Chinese herbal medicine group are obviously improved, and in addition, the diarrhea rate of the suckling piglets is also reduced to a certain extent, and the death rate of the suckling piglets is obviously reduced. The result shows that the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive provided by the invention has an effect of improving the growth performance of the suckling piglets. According to the maximum addition proportion of 5.5% required by the invention, the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive is used for feeding the sow, so that the growth performance of the suckling piglet is obviously improved, and the average weight, weaning nest weight and weaning individual weight of the piglet are improved. In addition, diarrhea rate and death rate of piglets in lactation period are obviously reduced. The result shows that the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive has an effect of improving the growth performance of the suckling piglets by adding 5.5% of the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive into the daily ration of the sow.
The results of the effect on the blood immune index of the suckling piglets are shown in table 4.
TABLE 4 Table 4
From Table 4, the invention can obviously improve the content of immunoglobulin G in the umbilical cord blood of piglets and the pig blood of weaned piglets, and the result shows that the invention can obviously improve the immunity of the piglets. According to the maximum addition proportion of 5.5% required by the invention, the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive is used for feeding the sow, so that the contents of the umbilical cord blood of the piglet and the immunoglobulin G in the piglet blood on the weaning day can be obviously improved, and the result shows that the immunity performance of the suckling piglet can be obviously improved by adding 5.5% of the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive into the daily ration of the sow.
The compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive prepared in example 1 was compared with the compound Chinese herbal medicine feed additive prepared in comparative examples 1 to 3, and the effect of improving the lactation yield of sows and the immunity of suckling piglets was studied.
The results of the effects on sow feed intake and lactation are shown in Table 5.
TABLE 5
As is clear from Table 5, the compound Chinese herbal medicines are added to the ration of the sow in comparative examples 1 to 3, so that the feed intake of the sow is not affected, and the lactation yield of the sow is improved to a certain extent, but the effect is not obvious as that of example 1. The result of comparative example 1 shows that the Chinese herbal medicine compound is prepared from three raw materials of semen vaccariae, rhizoma ligustici wallichii and radix rhapontici only, and the addition of no medulla Tetrapanacis has a certain positive effect on the lactation yield of the sow, but the effect is not as good as that of the compound prepared from the four raw materials in the example. Comparative example 2 illustrates that the use of only three raw materials of semen Vaccariae, medulla Tetrapanacis and radix Rhapontici in the Chinese herbal medicine compound can remarkably improve the lactation yield of sow without adding rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, but the effect is still inferior to the compound of four raw materials in the examples. Comparative example 3 the addition of compound herbs to the ration of sow reduced the feed intake and lactation to some extent, which may be related to the influence on the palatability of the feed due to the too high addition ratio of Ligusticum wallichii (bitter taste). The result shows that the Chinese herbal medicine compound uses only three raw materials of the cowherb seed, the medulla Tetrapanacis and the ligusticum wallichii, and no uniflower swisscentaury is added, so that the feed intake and lactation of the sow tend to be reduced, and the effect is far less than that of the compound prepared from four raw materials in the embodiment.
The results of the effect on the blood immune index of the suckling piglets are shown in Table 6.
TABLE 6
As is clear from Table 6, compared with the group of example 1, the addition of the compound Chinese herbal medicine to the ration of sow according to comparative example 1 has no significant effect on the content of immunoglobulin M, A in the umbilical cord blood of piglets and the weaning day pig blood, but can reduce the content of immunoglobulin G to a certain extent, and the result shows that the Chinese herbal medicine compound is prepared from three raw materials of semen vaccariae, rhizoma ligustici wallichii and radix Rhapontici only, and the addition of no medulla Tetrapanacis has a certain positive effect on the immunity of the suckling piglets, but the effect is not as good as that of the compound prepared from four raw materials in example 1.
The compound Chinese herbal medicine is added into the ration of the sow according to the comparative example 2, so that the content of the immunoglobulin M, A, G in the umbilical cord blood of the piglet and the content of the immunoglobulin M, A in the weaning daily blood of the piglet are not obviously influenced, but the content of the immunoglobulin G in the weaning daily blood of the piglet can be improved to a certain extent. The result shows that the Chinese herbal medicine compound uses only three raw materials of the cowherb seed, the medulla Tetrapanacis and the uniflower swisscentaury root, and the addition of the ligusticum wallichii has a certain positive effect on the immunity of the suckling piglets, but the effect is not obvious.
According to comparative example 3, the compound Chinese herbal medicine is added into the daily ration of the sow, so that the content of the immunoglobulin M, A, G in the umbilical cord blood of the piglet and the weaning daily blood of the piglet is not obviously affected, but the tendency of reducing the immunoglobulin G in the weaning daily blood is realized. The result shows that the Chinese herbal medicine compound uses only three raw materials of the cowherb seed, the medulla Tetrapanacis and the ligusticum wallichii, and no uniflower swisscentaury is added, so that the immunity of the suckling piglets is not obviously improved.
The foregoing is a further detailed description of the invention in connection with the preferred embodiments, and it is not intended that the invention be limited to the specific embodiments described. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that several simple deductions or substitutions may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention, and these should be considered to be within the scope of the invention.
