Description

Carboxymethyl cellulose wound dressing
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of wound dressing, and particularly relates to carboxymethyl cellulose wound dressing.
Background
In wound care, the wound surface is placed in a closed and moist environment, which is beneficial to the accelerated healing of the wound surface. The wound dressing comprises powder dressing, gel dressing, hydrocolloid dressing, fiber dressing and the like, wherein the most applied hydrocolloid dressing comprises carboxymethyl cellulose as a basic component, has the characteristic of absorbing wound exudate to form gel, and can play a role in keeping proper temperature and humidity of the wound, supporting the wound and accelerating the healing of the wound. The carboxymethyl cellulose as the dressing can absorb water into the fiber when contacting with water, can be well maintained when being pressed, and can be conveniently applied to and removed from a wound; the liquid medicine is directly and vertically absorbed on the dressing, and can not spread along the fabric to wet the skin around the wound. The carboxymethyl cellulose has the characteristic of forming colloid after moisture absorption, has high moisture absorption and moisture retention, is nontoxic and degradable, and has good biocompatibility.
The patent No. CN201210566478.1 entitled carboxymethyl cellulose-containing medical dressing with high strength and high water absorption and preparation method thereof provides a carboxymethyl cellulose medical dressing, which is prepared by preparing carboxymethyl cellulose into various absorption materials and further preparing medical dressings and has the characteristics of high strength, high liquid absorption and the like.
The wound dressing commonly seen in the market consists of a release layer, a wound contact layer, a base material layer and an adhesive. The release layer has the functions of protecting the dressing and the adhesive, when in use, the release layer is removed from the adhesive, and the adhesive has certain viscosity and can play a role in fixing; the wound contact layer is directly contacted with the wound surface when in use, and plays a role in protecting and absorbing exudates; the substrate has a certain fixing function.
The wound contact layer material is made of carboxymethyl cellulose fiber, if the carboxymethyl cellulose fiber is directly attached to the adhesive, when the adhesive is used, after the carboxymethyl cellulose fiber absorbs exudate, the carboxymethyl cellulose fiber and water in the exudate form gel, so that the risk that the wound contact layer falls off from the adhesive is easily generated, and the use is influenced.
