Abstract

                          技术领域
本发明涉及带有亮显示屏与键盘的设备,如移动电话。更具体说,本发明涉及设备中用于传输、分配并散射光线以照亮显示屏与键盘的光导板。
                          背景技术
设备中用于传输光线以照亮显示屏与键盘的光导板或光导体通常是由透明材料制成的平板形元件。光导板常常放置在设备的显示板与键盘的侧面一层。光源,一般为LEDs光源,则沿光导板的边缘布置,传输到光导板的光线由光导板散射并分配至显示屏与键盘。
传统光导板的问题在于光线分配不均匀,因此显示板与按键也相应地照明不均,使得显示屏与键盘有的地方亮,有的地方暗,有损于设备的外观。
产生这个问题部分原因在于光源的安放方式以及与光导板的连接方式。传统地,用于显示屏的光源简单地安放在光导板边缘,而其它的光源则放置在光导板内部邻近按键孔的小孔中。从光导板边缘的光源中发出的光线无法穿过光导板边缘均匀传输。
问题的产生也与离开光导板的光线在边界处如何被处理有关。射到光导板边界处的光线一部分在边界处损失掉,一部分则被反射回光导板,导致不能提供很好的照明。
                          发明内容
本发明所提供的光导板克服了在此技术领域中所存在的缺陷。按照本发明的光导板可将光线更均匀地分配到显示屏与键盘,大大减少了明暗不均的区域。本发明的光导板还提供了一种光源连接口使更有效地接收与传输光线到光导板,从而使光线在光导板中更有效地分配。相应地,本发明的光导板比传统的光导板可以更少的光源提供更亮的显示屏与键盘。因此这种光导板可以节省制造成本与时间以及零件成本,还可以减少整机电池能量消耗。
根据本发明,用于照亮显示屏和键盘的光导板,包括一个透明的元件,该元件为矩形,有底边与侧边,还有一个上表面和一个下表面,光导板的第一部分作显示屏的底座屏,第二部分为具有多个按键孔的键盘部分,光导板在与第一部分相邻的第一底边上还有许多光线连接口,这些连接口经过精确成形,将光线均匀地传输至光导板,其中在侧边上有许多反射口,可将传输到周边边界的那部分光反射回先导板;另外的光线反射口位于与键盘部分相邻的第二底边并经过精确成形,按键孔成行排列,在按键孔行列之间的第二部分内还有许多光源孔。
根据本发明,光导板是一个由透明材料制成的元件,该元件有一个上表面,一个下表面以及周边。此元件最好是一个形状相应于电话机的显示屏与键盘的矩形平板状零件。当然,光导板可加工成任何显示屏或键盘的形状,因为本发明的原理同样适用于任何合适形状的光导板。
根据本发明,这些光线连接口最好精确加工,且以半圆形为最佳。此特点有助于引导光线从光源均匀进入光导板,从而避免产生明暗不均的区域。在本发明的最佳实施方式中,光线连接口位于光导板的一边且间距相等。这样可传输最大量的可用光线以照亮光导板的相应区域,例如用作显示屏背座的区域。作为另一种选择,也可以将这些光线连接口置于光导板周边方便的位置,以形成所需照亮模式。
根据本发明的另一方面,大多数反射口都位于光导板的周边,将照射到边界的光线反射至按键口。根据本发明的最佳实施方式,反射口位于相邻两孔之间。反射口可精确制成两面形或多面形。根据本发明的最佳实施方式,反射口为V形。
根据本发明的另一方面,该元件的上下表面可做成光滑的反射表面,使光线在光导板中的传输更方便同时减少光线从表面发生泄露。作为另一种选择,也可以将在显示屏座部分的光导板的单面或两面做成无泽面或粗糙表面,将光线散射至显示屏。最好是将显示屏座区域的下表面,即与显示板相反的一面,制作成可散射光线的表面。

                          具体实施方式
图1是本发明的光导板10的俯视图。光导板10由可传输光线的半透明塑料材料制成。如图所示,光导板从外形来看基本上是一个矩形的平板,有上表面20,下表面22(如图3所示),包围在周边24中。图示矩形元件10中的周边24包括两个相对的底边26、28,和两个相对的侧边30、32。图示光导板10用于照亮移动电话(如图5分解视图所示)的显示屏与按键,因此需按照设备的形状要求来加工。通过下述说明可进一步理解本发明的原理,其同样适用于任何合适形状的光导板。结合附图所作的描述只起说明作用,不具备限制性。
光导板10中靠近第一底边26的第一部分40构成了显示板的支座。分配到第一部分40的光线照亮了设备的显示板。第二部分42构成了有很多按键孔44的键盘部分。光导板10上还有许多光源孔36,位于按键孔44的行列之间。光源,如LEDs,可放置在光源孔36中,为光导板的第二部分42提供光线。分配到这一部分42上的光线照亮了按键孔44以及放置其中的按键(请参见图5)。
图2是光导板10的第一部分40的局部视图。在第一底边26上,有许多光线连接口50。这些光线连接口50精确成形,将光线从位于每个连接口附近的光源52充分均匀地传输至光导板10,正如图2中从光源52发出的箭头所示。光线连接口50可做成半椭圆形或半圆形。为简单起见,可将光源52表示为点光源,而将光线表示为射线。在设备中,光源52可以是LEDs,也可以是其它适合的装置。在传统的光导板中,光源都是沿一直边安放,由于在边界处发生光线折射,使光线传输不均,以致在光导板上产生明暗不均的区域。本发明中的光线连接口50通过采用曲线形边避免了这个问题,减少了在光线连接处产生的不理想的衍射,从而使光源发出的光线更均匀地传输至光导板10。
再看图1,在第二底边28和侧边30、32处有许多光线反射口60、62。如图所示,光线反射口60、62被做成V形,并与相邻按键孔间的部分呈一直线。光线反射口60、62也可精确成形或做成多边形。光线反射口60、62利用了光从一个介质穿过边界进入另一传播系数不同的介质时所遵循的光学原理。在这种边界上(如光导板10的周边边界24),光线穿过边界进入第二种介质并反射回第一种介质。对此在图4中结合按键孔44与反射口60做了简单图解。如图4所示,本发明的光线反射口60、62将光线以益于照亮按键孔44的方式反射回光导板10中。在传统的光导板中,边界通常为一条直线,即没有光线反射口,那些穿过边界未损失掉的光线也无法以有用方式反射。
图3是光导板的局部视图,包括按键孔44,用以说明本发明的附加特征。一方面,上表面20与下表面22被制作得非常光滑,至少按键孔周围如此,这样分配至光导板的光线就可被反射回光导板以便进一步完全分配。反之,粗糙的表面会使照射到此表面上的光线发生散射。这一效果适于使用在光导板的显示板座部分40。位于显示屏座40处的光导板下表面22可制作成粗糙表面以散射光线,照亮安装在与光导板此部分相邻处的显示板。
另一方面,按键孔44横截面为截头圆锥形即圆锥体的一部分,且底边大于顶边。图5所示设备的光导板10位于键盘下面,因此光导板10的上表面20与键盘相邻。如图5所示,以此种方式制作的按键孔44将照射到按键孔44边界上的光线反射到按键位置以更好地照亮按键。
图5以分解视图的形式将本发明的光导板10作为电话总成的一个部分来说明它如何组装在设备中。电话机包括机盖80、底座82,两者封闭该设备,键盘84的按键穿过机盖80的按键孔。光导板10位于键盘84下面,显示板88,通常为液晶显示(LC显示),放在光导板的显示屏座部分40上。承载功能电路的印刷电路板90,包括LEDs,则置于底座82上,位于光导板10下面。
有关本发明原理、特征及优选实施例的描述只是说明性的而不具限制性,在不超出如后附的权利要求书所确定的范围的情况下,可以对本发明作出多种改动。

Claims (6)

1.用于照亮显示屏和键盘的光导板,包括一个透明的元件,该元件为矩形,有底边与侧边,还有一个上表面和一个下表面,光导板的第一部分作显示屏的底座屏,第二部分为具有多个按键孔的键盘部分,光导板在与第一部分相邻的第一底边上还有许多光线连接口,这些连接口经过精确成形,将光线均匀地传输至光导板,其中在侧边上有许多反射口,可将传输到周边边界的那部分光反射回光导板;另外的光线反射口位于与键盘部分相邻的第二底边并经过精确成形,按键孔成行排列,在按键孔行列之间的第二部分内还有许多光源孔。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光导板,其特征在于,光线连接口为半圆形。
3.根据权利要求1所述的光导板,其特征在于,上下表面为具有反射性能的光滑表面,将光导板中的光线反射回光导板。
4.根据权利要求1所述的光导板,其特征在于,按键孔为截头圆锥形,且下底面大于上底面。
5.根据权利要求1所述的光导板,其特征在于,各光线反射口都与相邻按键孔之间的部分呈一直线。
6.根据权利要求1所述的光导板,其特征在于,反射口为V形。
