A medical instrument storage and sterilization device comprises a shell (1), an ultraviolet lamp (2), a first rotating shaft (3), a first movable plate (4) and a first torsion spring (5), wherein the shell (1) is made of iron, the ultraviolet lamp (2) for sterilizing the medical instrument is arranged at the rear side inside the shell (1) at intervals, the first rotating shaft (3) is arranged on the left side and the right side of the front side inside the shell (1), the first movable plate (4) is arranged on the first rotating shaft (3), the first movable plate (4) blocks the front side of the shell (1), the first torsion spring (5) is arranged between the outer sides of the upper side and the lower side of the first movable plate (4) and the shell (1), and the first torsion spring (5) is wound on the first rotating shaft (3) on the same side, the front part of the inner side of the shell (1) is provided with a retraction mechanism (6) for placing medical instruments, the bottom of the shell (1) is provided with a lifting mechanism (7) for enabling the medical instruments to face the ultraviolet lamp (2), the bottom of the shell (1) is provided with a storage mechanism (8) for loading disinfectant, and the shell (1) is internally provided with a disinfection mechanism (9) for spraying disinfectant.
