When a vehicle is impacted and the intensity of the impact meets the condition of opening the airbag 3, the control end of the igniter in the gas generator 1 receives the ignition signal, the igniter ignites, so that the ignition agent in the gas generator 1 is ignited, the ignition agent burns to generate a large amount of gas, the gas has larger pressure, and is discharged to the gas guide pipe 2 through the gas outlet of the gas generator 1 and is discharged to the airbag 3 through the gas guide pipe 2, the airbag 3 is rapidly filled, the airbag 3 is rapidly expanded, and after the airbag 3 is fully inflated and opened, the first inflation section 31 of the airbag 3 extends along the front and rear direction of the vehicle body at the side surface of a front seat, so that a front passenger is in contact with the first inflation section 31 when the front passenger shakes towards the side surface during the collision, instead of directly colliding with the vehicle body, the side surfaces of the front passengers are protected from being injured; meanwhile, the second inflation section 32 communicated with one end of the first inflation section 31 extending towards the rear direction of the vehicle body extends along the width direction of the rear seat between the front seat and the rear seat, so that when the body of a rear passenger leans forward to generate a forward collision trend in a collision process, the rear passenger is in contact with the second inflation section 32 instead of directly colliding with the front seat, and the front of the rear passenger is protected from being damaged.
With the airbag of the present invention, the bag 3 is disposed on the side wall of the front seat, and after the bag 3 is inflated and deployed, the side face of the front seat can be extended in the vehicle body front-rear direction by the first inflation section 31 and inflated to protect the side face of the front passenger from injury, and the front face of the rear passenger can be extended and inflated in front of the rear seat by the second inflation section 32 and protected from injury.
In this embodiment, taking the side wall of the seat frame 4 where the air bag 3 is installed at the main driving position of the front seat as an example, specifically, the air bag 3 is connected with the left side wall of the seat frame 4 in fig. 1, that is, the side wall facing the door, and the air bag 3 is connected with the seat frame 4 through a bolt, the extending length of the air bag 3 in the folded state is approximately equal to the height of the backrest of the seat frame 4, the gas generator 1 is set as a hollow cylinder and fixed behind the backrest of the seat frame 4 in fig. 1, the length of the gas generator 1 is approximately equal to the width of the backrest of the seat frame 4, the gas guide tube 2 is communicated with the gas generator 1 and the air bag 3, and the exhaust port of the gas generator 1 is approximately the same as the height of the air inlet of the air bag 3. When the vehicle is involved in a collision and the condition for opening the airbag 3 is satisfied, the control end of the igniter receives an ignition signal, ignites the ignition agent, the ignition agent burns, a large amount of high-pressure gas is generated in the gas generator 1, the gas enters the airbag 3 through the exhaust port and the gas guide tube 2 of the gas generator 1, rapidly fills the airbag 3 and inflates the airbag 3, the airbag 3 is inflated and inflated, and then extends into a first inflation section 31 and a second inflation section 32 shown in fig. 2 and 3, and the first inflation section 31 and the second inflation section 32 are projected on the floor of the vehicle as shown in fig. 3, and are integrally in an "L" shape, the first inflation section 31 is inflated on one side of the installation position of the airbag 3, that is, the main driving position is inflated towards one side of the vehicle door, so that the first inflation section 31 is in the height direction of the backrest, and a distance in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body adjacent to the backrest extends and expands to protect the driver from contacting the first inflation section 31 during lateral shaking without directly colliding with the vehicle body rigidly, thereby protecting the side of the driver from being injured, and at the same time, the first inflation section 31 extends a certain distance in the direction of the rear seat and has an end portion communicated with the second inflation section 32, as shown in fig. 3, the second inflation section 32 extends and expands between the front seat 8 and the rear seat (not shown) and extends in the width direction of the rear seat to protect the rear passenger from contacting the second inflation section 32 during forward movement without rigidly colliding with the front seat, thereby protecting the front of the rear passenger from being injured. The specific shape, specific extension length and height of the first inflation segment 31 and the second inflation segment 32 can be adjusted according to practical application, as long as the side of the front passenger and the front of the rear passenger can be protected at the same time. The airbag 3 can be installed on the side wall of each front seat, each airbag 3 corresponds to one gas generator 1 and one gas guide tube 2, and when the igniter in the corresponding gas generator 1 receives an ignition signal, an ignition agent is ignited, so that the corresponding airbag 3 is inflated to protect the passenger in the corresponding position. The process of igniting the ignition agent after the control end of the igniter receives the ignition signal is mature prior art, and the specific working principle is not described herein again.
Optionally, the circumferential turns of the first inflation segment 31 are all configured as circular arc transitions. This arrangement allows the first inflatable section 31 to be uniformly stressed to prevent stress concentration from causing the first inflatable section 31 to break.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the first inflation section 31 extends from the lower left to the upper right of the seat back in the figure and extends to a certain distance towards the rear seat, and each turning point of the first inflation section 31 is configured as an arc transition.
Optionally, the circumferential turns of the second inflation segment 32 are all configured as circular arc transitions. This arrangement allows the second inflatable section 32 to be stressed evenly throughout, preventing stress concentrations from causing the second inflatable section 32 to break.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the second inflation section 32 communicates with the right end of the first inflation section 31 and extends in the seat width direction on the rear side of the front seat 8, and each turning point of the second inflation section 32 is provided as an arc transition.
Optionally, a side end surface of the second inflation segment 32 facing the front seat 8 is provided with a groove 5. With the arrangement, when a vehicle collides, a rear passenger collides with the second inflation section 32, and then can be further cushioned at a position corresponding to the groove 5, so that the rear passenger is further protected from being injured.
In the present embodiment, the groove 5 is disposed on a side of the second inflation segment 32 facing the front seat 8, that is, a left end surface of the second inflation segment 32 in fig. 3, and a cross section of the groove 5 is semicircular, which is beneficial to uniform distribution of the external force. The size and shape of the groove 5 can be adjusted according to the practical application.
Optionally, a filter (not shown) is disposed in the receiving cavity and is circumferentially connected to the inner wall of the receiving cavity between the ignition agent and the exhaust port. With the arrangement, gas generated by the ignition agent is filtered, so that sundries are prevented from entering the air bag 3 along with the gas, and the air bag 3 is prevented from being cut by the sundries, so that the effect of protecting passengers by the air bag 3 is reduced.
In this embodiment, the filter is in the form of a filter plate, the filter is disposed between the igniter and the exhaust port in the gas generator 1, and the circumferential direction of the filter is fixedly connected to the circumferential direction of the inner wall of the accommodating chamber, so that all the gas generated by the ignition agent combustion can be discharged through the exhaust port after being filtered by the filter, and finally enters the gas bag 3. The filter may take any form according to the actual application, as long as it can filter the generated gas and prevent impurities in the gas from entering the gas bag 3.
The invention also provides an airbag assembly, which comprises the airbag according to any one of the embodiments, a generator bracket 6 and a generator strap 7. The generator bracket 6 is fixedly connected with a seat framework 4 of a front seat provided with an air bag 3 of the safety airbag; the generator strap 7 binds the gas generator 1 of the airbag to the generator bracket 6.
With the airbag module of the present invention, the bag 3 is disposed on the side wall of the front seat, and after the bag 3 is inflated and deployed, the first inflation section 31 can extend and inflate in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body at the side of the front seat to protect the side of the front passenger from injury, and the second inflation section 32 can extend and inflate in front of the rear seat to protect the front of the rear passenger from injury. The gas generator 1 is fixed on the seat frame 4 mounted with the gas bag 3 by means of the generator bracket 6 and the generator binding band 7, so that the integration level of the airbag assembly is improved, and the connection relationship between the gas generator 1 and the seat frame 4 is simplified.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the generator bracket 6 extends in the width direction of the backrest of the seat frame 4 to which the airbag 3 is attached and is fixedly attached, such as bolted or welded, to the rear side of the backrest of the seat frame 4, and the generator strap 7 is wound around the gas generator 1 and the generator bracket 6, and finally the gas generator 1 is bound to the generator bracket 6. According to practical application, the generator support 6 can be adjusted in shape and size, and the generator support 6 can be fixedly connected with the seat frame 4 in any mode.
Alternatively, the generator bracket 6 is detachably attached to the seat frame 4 of the front seat to which the airbag 3 is attached. This kind of setting is convenient for overhaul or change generator support 6.
In the present embodiment, the generator bracket 6 is bolted to the seat frame 4.
Optionally, the airbag assembly further comprises a crash intensity sensor (not shown) and a controller. The collision strength sensor is fixedly connected with the vehicle body and used for monitoring the collision strength; the input end of the controller is in communication connection with the output end of the collision strength sensor, and the output end of the controller is in communication connection with the control end of an igniter of the safety airbag.
The collision intensity sensor is installed in the automobile body for collision intensity when the monitoring vehicle bumps, and with collision intensity signal transmission extremely the controller, the controller receives the collision intensity signal, compares with the intensity threshold value of setting that inside prestore, when collision intensity signal is greater than or equal to the intensity threshold value of setting for, indicates that the vehicle collision is stronger, needs to open air pocket 3 protects, at this moment, the controller output firing signal extremely the control end of some firearm, control some firearm ignition makes the ignition of ignition agent burning, the burning produces a large amount of gas, gas warp air duct 2 transmit extremely air pocket 3, makes air pocket 3 expand rapidly and extend in front row seat 8 side and the preceding extension of back row seat, the side of the protection front row passenger simultaneously and the preceding of back row passenger. The controller controls the ignition control logic of the igniter according to the collision intensity signal monitored by the collision intensity sensor, and the control can be realized according to the existing mature algorithm.
Optionally, the airbag assembly further comprises a safety collision sensor (not shown), the safety collision sensor is fixedly connected with the vehicle body, and the output end of the safety collision sensor is in communication connection with the input end of the controller. This arrangement prevents the controller from erroneously controlling the ignition of the igniter due to a failure of the collision strength sensor, and thus, the airbag 3 is erroneously opened.
The controller receives the safety intensity signal and compares the safety intensity signal with a preset safety threshold value prestored inside, and the preset safety threshold value is slightly smaller than the preset intensity threshold value. When the safety intensity signal is greater than or equal to the set safety threshold and the collision intensity signal is greater than or equal to the set intensity threshold, it indicates that the vehicle has a relatively strong collision and the airbag 3 needs to be opened to protect a person, at this time, the controller sends the ignition signal to the control end of the igniter to control the igniter to ignite, so as to ignite the ignition agent and generate a large amount of gas to fill the airbag 3, so that the airbag 3 is inflated on the side of the front seat and in front of the rear seat; when the collision strength signal is greater than or equal to the set strength threshold value, but the safety strength signal is less than the set safety threshold value, it indicates that the collision strength sensor is in fault, at this time, the vehicle does not collide strongly, the controller does not output an ignition signal, and the airbag 3 is not opened. According to the practical application condition, the set intensity threshold value and the set safety threshold value can be adjusted.
