Abstract
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for skin barrier strengthening or moisturizing and/or an external preparation for skin comprising a rice fermented extract, a pineapple extract and a mixture of glyceroglucoside.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for skin barrier strengthening or moisturizing and/or an external preparation for skin comprising a rice fermented extract, a pineapple extract and a mixture of glyceroglucoside.
Background
The skin plays a very important role in the so-called barrier function, which protects the individual from the outside. The barrier function is a function of protecting against various external stimuli (chemical substances, atmospheric pollutants, dry environments, ultraviolet rays, and the like) and preventing excessive dispersion of body water through the skin, and such a protective function can be maintained only when the stratum corneum composed of keratinocytes is normally formed.
The Stratum corneum (Stratum corneum) located at the outermost layer of the epidermis is formed from keratinocytes, and is composed of differentiated keratinocytes and Stratum corneum covering them. Keratinocytes are characteristic cells that rise from basal cells (basal cells) that continuously proliferate from the lowermost layer of the epidermis to the skin surface through a stepwise morphological and functional change. After a certain period of time, the durable keratinocytes are detached from the skin and new keratinocytes replace their functions, and this repetitive series of changes is called "differentiation of epidermal cells" or "keratinization". In the keratinization process, keratinocytes form horny layers by generating Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) and intercellular lipids (ceramide, cholesterol, fatty acid), and endow the horny layers with firmness and flexibility, thereby maintaining a function as a skin barrier (skin barrier). If the stratum corneum becomes thinner and weaker, the horny and cell thin lipid membrane structures that are bonded like bricks as hard as cement become loose and generate gaps, and finally, the horny and cell thin lipid membrane structures become dry due to water evaporation, so that the defense function against harmful substances becomes weaker.
Such a horny layer is apt to lose its function due to an excessive amount of a life-habit factor such as washing or bathing, an environmental factor such as dryness or air pollution, or an endogenous disease such as allergic skin or aged skin. In fact, after entering the modern day, there is a recent trend toward an increasing number of people being appealing for dry skin conditions and the general disorders that they cause. Therefore, studies are being conducted to maintain proper skin moisture by supplying moisture from the outside or preventing loss of moisture from the body, and, furthermore, various moisturizers having a moisture-retaining ability have been developed. Generally, lipid components such as ceramide and substances capable of increasing the moisture retention of the horny layer such as essential fatty acids and lipid complexes are used as skin moisturizers.
However, recently, factors harmful to the skin have increased, the rate of formation and exfoliation of the horny layer has become slow due to changes in dietary lifestyle, and the amount of moisturizing factors and lipids in the horny layer has decreased due to the reduction in the function of keratinocytes, and thus people having skin whose horny layer fails to exhibit a normal skin barrier function tend to increase. Such disruption of the skin barrier function can cause various skin diseases such as xeroderma, allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, and the like. In order to cure the above-mentioned skin diseases, it is required to develop a moisturizing agent having an outstanding skin barrier strengthening or moisturizing improvement effect, as compared to the existing skin moisturizing agents.

Examples
Example 1 preparation of fermented extract of rice, pineapple extract and Glycerol glucoside mixture
A rice fermentation extract containing antioxidant substances (thioredoxin) at a concentration of 400 [ mu ] g/L or more is obtained by inducing a rice fermentation extract in a fermentation process of rice using natural yeast, and the content of glycerin and glucose compounds having a purity of 90% or more after chemical bonding of glycerin and glucose is confirmed to be 60% or more by utilizing an environmentally friendly pineapple extract obtained by removing pulp and then extracting a waste husk part so that the content of natural sugar ceramide contained therein can be 40g/L or more, and pure water containing 2% of 1, 2-hexanediol are mixed in the weight ratio shown in Table 1 below. The respective mixtures were put into a water-jacketed reactor capable of maintaining the temperature, heated to 55 ℃ to 65 ℃ and then stirred at 700rpm for 4 hours. The stirred mixture was first filtered through a 100 μm Cellulose Acetate (Cellulose Acetate) filter and then filtered a second time using a 0.22 μm polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) filter.

Examples of the experiments
Experimental example 1 confirmation of percutaneous Water loss (TEWL) alleviating effect of the composition of the present invention
In order to induce an increase in transdermal water loss, ethanol was applied to the medial upper arm of 10 men and women aged 26 to 44, and then the transdermal water loss index of the relevant site was measured at 5 spots using a skin condition measuring instrument (gpskinn). Pure water of examples 1 to 4 and used as a control group was applied to 5 spots, and after 30 minutes, the percutaneous moisture loss index was measured at 5 spots using a skin condition measuring instrument (gpskinn).
TABLE 2
As a result, it can be seen from table 2 that examples 1 to 4 exhibited reduced percutaneous water loss as compared with the control group (pure water), and particularly, example 4 exhibited significantly excellent percutaneous water loss reduction effect.
Experimental example 2 confirmation of skin moisture index Effect of the composition of the present invention
In order to know the change of moisture index of 10 testers, the moisture index was measured before the application was designated at 5 points on the inner side of the upper arm. Pure water of examples 1 to 4 and used as a control was applied to 5 spots, and 30 minutes later, the moisture index was measured at 5 spots using a skin condition detector (gpskinn).
TABLE 3
As a result, it can be seen from table 3 above that examples 1 to 4 exhibited increased moisture indexes compared to the control (pure water), and particularly, example 4 among them exhibited a remarkably excellent moisture index increasing effect.
Experimental example 3 confirmation of skin Barrier index Effect of the composition of the present invention
In order to lower the skin barrier, 5 spots were determined on the inner side of the upper arm of 10 test subjects, and after 5 tape peels were performed on the relevant sites, 5 tape-peeled sites were examined for skin barrier index using a skin condition detector (GPSKIN). Example 1 to example 4 were applied at 4 of 5 points where tape peeling was performed, and 30 minutes later, skin barrier index was measured at 5 points using a skin condition detector (gpskinn) to compare with the uncoated points.
TABLE 4
As a result, it can be seen from table 4 above that examples 1 to 4 exhibited increased skin barrier indexes compared to the control group (peeling point), and particularly, example 4 among them exhibited a significantly high skin barrier index.
Experimental example 4 confirmation of skin Condition improving Effect of cream formulation containing the composition of the present invention
In order to know the skin condition improvement effect of the cream formulation containing the composition of the present invention, 3 points were designated on the inner upper arm of 10 test subjects, and divided into cream with the mixture added (test group), cream without the mixture added (control group) and untreated group to confirm transdermal moisture loss, skin moisture index and skin barrier index.
TABLE 5
As a result, it was confirmed that the cream of the preparation example containing the rice fermented extract, the pineapple natural sugar ceramide extract, and the glycerol glucoside mixture (example 4) of the present invention was remarkably superior to the control group in the effects of alleviating the loss of percutaneous water, increasing the skin moisture index, and strengthening the skin barrier index.
