背景技术
以往,对食品、医药品、化妆品、卫生用品、农药、种子、电子构件、电子设备类等进行包装的软包装材料大多是通过在塑料基材上层叠各种阻隔层、密封层等而制造的。
近年来,由塑料垃圾造成的环境破坏已成为世界性的问题,与环境友好、节省资源化推进的时机的高涨相适应的、降低环境负荷的包装材料备受瞩目。其中,认为在软包装领域中也可通过将塑料基材变更成利用了作为生物质材料之一的“纸”的构成来达成塑料使用量的削减。
另一方面,来源于纤维素的纸的间隙多,与塑料相比,在各种物性方面、特别是耐水性、戳穿强度、气体阻隔性等方面差,因此成为问题。
作为与使用了纸基材的包装材料有关的技术,可举出例如专利文献1(日本特开2007-276194号公报)及专利文献2(日本特开2004-82510号公报)中记载的技术。
专利文献1中记载了一种层叠体,其特征在于,用水性油墨在纸基材的一面设置印刷层,在该印刷层的相反面挤出并层压密封层,所述密封层是在聚酯树脂或聚酰胺树脂中掺混聚烯烃树脂和相容剂、进行混炼挤出并成型为膜而得到的。
专利文献2中记载了一种包装材料,其特征在于,在由纸层、铝箔层和密封层形成的包装材料中,在纸层与铝箔层的层间层叠有由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯膜形成的树脂层。

发明内容
发明所要解决的课题
但是,对于以往的使用了纸基材的包装材料而言,例如从保护内容物的观点考虑,在由弯曲导致的耐针孔性方面存在改善的余地。
本发明是鉴于上述情况而作出的,提供以作为生物质材料的纸基材为基础的、能得到耐针孔性优异的软包装材料的软包装用层叠体。
用于解决课题的手段
本申请的发明人为了达成上述课题而反复进行了深入研究。结果发现,通过在纸基材层与阻隔层之间形成包含金属离子含量在特定范围内的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物的粘接层,可获得能得到耐针孔性优异的软包装材料的层叠体,从而完成了本发明。
即,根据本发明,可提供以下所示的软包装用层叠体、软包装材料及软包装体。

发明效果
根据本发明,可以提供以作为生物质材料的纸基材为基础的、能得到耐针孔性优异的软包装材料的软包装用层叠体。
具体实施方式
以下,对本发明的实施方式进行详细说明。需要说明的是,本实施方式中,只要没有特别说明,则数值范围的说明中的表述“a~b”表示为a以上b以下。另外,本实施方式中,“(甲基)丙烯-”是指“丙烯-”、“甲基丙烯-”或者“丙烯-”和“甲基丙烯-”这两者。
1.软包装用层叠体
本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体中,至少纸基材层、粘接层、阻隔层及密封层以上述的顺序层叠,上述粘接层包含乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A),将构成上述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)中的不饱和羧酸的含量设为X[质量%],将上述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的中和度设为Y[摩尔%]时,由X×Y/100表示的金属离子含量为4.0以上20.0以下。
对于本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体而言,通过制成上述层构成,能够使耐针孔性良好。
以下,对构成本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体的各层进行说明。
<纸基材层>
作为纸基材层,以在软包装中的使用为前提,优选克重为225g/m2以下的纸,从向软包装形态的制袋加工性及戳穿强度的观点考虑,更优选克重为180g/m2以下的纸,特别优选克重为20~80g/m2的纸。作为这样的纸基材层,例如可以优选使用高级纸、白卷纸、铜版纸、单面美术纸、双面美术纸、混抄纸等,但并不限于这些。另外,根据需要,可以在纸基材层的外表面设置印刷层。
另外,为了提高粘接强度,可以对纸基材层实施电晕处理、等离子体处理、火焰处理、臭氧处理等物理处理、锚涂处理等化学处理。
另外,对于纸而言,从赋予作为软包装材料的柔软性和适度的刚性的观点考虑,优选利用环刚度(loop stiffness)法测定的刚性在MD方向或TD方向中的任意方向上为10mN以上1000mN以下,更优选为10mN以上200mN以下。对于利用环刚度法测定的刚性而言,例如,可以使用东洋精机株式会社制“LOOP STIFFNESS TESTER”,在间距(环长度)为100mm、宽度为25mm、压入距离为15mm、压入速度为3.3mm/sec的条件下进行测定。
纸基材层的厚度例如为30μm以上400μm以下。从赋予作为软包装材料的柔软性和适度的刚性的观点考虑,优选为30μm以上200μm以下,更优选为30μm以上且小于150μm,特别优选为30μm以上100μm以下。
<粘接层>
本实施方式涉及的粘接层包含乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)。
对于粘接层中的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的含量而言,将粘接层整体作为100质量%时,从粘接性的观点考虑,优选为70质量%以上,更优选为80质量%以上,进一步优选为90质量%以上,特别优选为95质量%以上。乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的含量的上限没有特别限定,例如为100质量%以下。
乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)中,使用不饱和羧酸含量(X:质量%)和金属中和度(Y:摩尔%)并由X×Y/100表示的金属离子含量为4.0以上20.0以下,但从进一步提高耐针孔性的观点考虑,优选为6.0以上,从提高成膜性的观点考虑,优选为18.0以下,更优选为15.0以下,进一步优选为12.0以下,特别优选为10.0以下。
粘接层的厚度例如为1μm以上100μm以下,优选为3μm以上80μm以下,进一步优选为5μm以上40μm以下。
另外,从使粘接层的挤出涂覆性良好的观点考虑,粘接层的厚度优选为5μm以上,更优选为10μm以上。从使成膜加工性良好的观点考虑,粘接层的厚度优选为40μm以下,更优选为30μm以下,进一步优选为25μm以下。
作为乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的基础树脂的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)为至少以乙烯、和选自不饱和羧酸中的单体为共聚成分进行共聚而得到的聚合物,根据需要,也可以共聚有除乙烯及不饱和羧酸系以外的单体。
共聚物中,可以为嵌段共聚物、无规共聚物、接枝共聚物中的任意共聚物,但考虑到生产率时,优选使用2元无规共聚物、3元无规共聚物、2元无规共聚物的接枝共聚物或3元无规共聚物的接枝共聚物,更优选为2元无规共聚物或3元无规共聚物。
作为乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1),优选为选自由乙烯·不饱和羧酸2元共聚物及乙烯·不饱和羧酸烷基酯·不饱和羧酸3元共聚物组成的组中的至少1种。
作为不饱和羧酸,可举出例如丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、乙基丙稀酸(ethacrylicacid)、衣康酸、衣康酸酐、富马酸、巴豆酸、马来酸、马来酸酐、马来酸单酯(马来酸单甲酯、马来酸单乙酯等)、马来酸酐单酯(马来酸酐单甲酯、马来酸酐单乙酯等)等碳原子数4~8的不饱和羧酸或半酯。
它们之中,从乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)的生产率等的观点考虑,上述不饱和羧酸优选包含选自丙烯酸及甲基丙烯酸中的至少一种。这些不饱和羧酸可以单独使用1种,也可以组合使用2种以上。
乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)为至少共聚有乙烯和不饱和羧酸的共聚物,也可以为进一步共聚有第3共聚成分的3元以上的多元共聚物。
多元共聚物中,除了乙烯及能与该乙烯共聚的(甲基)丙烯酸以外,作为第3共聚成分,也可以共聚有不饱和羧酸酯(例如丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸异丁酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸异丁酯、马来酸二甲酯、马来酸二乙酯等(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯)、乙烯基酯(例如乙酸乙烯酯、丙酸乙烯酯等)、不饱和烃(例如丙烯、丁烯、1,3-丁二烯、戊烯、1,3-戊二烯、1-己烯等)、乙烯基硫酸、乙烯基硝酸等氧化物、卤化物(例如氯乙烯、氟乙烯等)、含有乙烯基的伯胺、仲胺化合物、一氧化碳、二氧化硫等。
它们之中,作为第3共聚成分,优选为不饱和羧酸酯,更优选为(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯(烷基部位的优选的碳原子数为1~4)。
来源于第3共聚成分的结构单元在乙烯·(甲基)丙烯酸系共聚物中的含有比率优选为25质量%以下的范围。
来源于第3共聚成分的结构单元的含有比率为上述上限值以下时,从生产·混合的方面考虑是优选的。
本实施方式涉及的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)中,由乙烯衍生的结构单元的含量优选为65质量%以上95质量%以下,更优选为75质量%以上93质量%以下,进一步优选为80质量%以上92质量%以下。
本实施方式涉及的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)中,由不饱和羧酸衍生的结构单元的含量(即,不饱和羧酸的含量X)优选为5质量%以上35质量%以下,更优选为7质量%以上25质量%以下,进一步优选为8质量%以上20质量%以下。
此处,乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)中的不饱和羧酸的含量(X)可以通过例如傅立叶变换红外吸收光谱法(FT-IR)来测定。
作为构成本实施方式涉及的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的金属离子,可举出锂离子、钾离子、钠离子等碱金属离子;钙离子、镁离子、锌离子、铝离子、钡离子等多价金属离子等。这些金属离子可以单独使用1种,也可以组合使用2种以上。
它们之中,优选包含选自钠离子及锌离子中的至少一种,更优选包含锌离子。
本实施方式涉及的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的中和度没有特别限定,但从进一步提高加工性、成型性的观点考虑,优选为95摩尔%以下,更优选为90摩尔%以下,进一步优选为85摩尔%以下,特别优选为80摩尔%以下。
另外,本实施方式涉及的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的中和度没有特别限定,但从进一步提高层压层叠体时的加工适性的观点考虑,优选为5摩尔%以上,更优选为10摩尔%以上,进一步优选为15摩尔%以上,特别优选为20摩尔%以上。
此处,乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的中和度可以通过例如焚烧残渣分析法来测定。
乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的制造方法没有特别限定,可以通过已知的方法来制造。另外,乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)也可以使用市售品。
本实施方式中,依照JIS K7210:1999而在190℃、2160g负荷的条件下测定的、乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的熔体流动速率(MFR)优选为0.1g/10分钟以上10g/10分钟以下。若MFR在上述范围内,则纸基材层与粘接层的层间粘接性、后述的阻隔层与粘接层的层间粘接性变得更良好。
后述的实施例中记载的离聚物的MFR为在上述条件下测定的值。
粘接层中,可以在不损害本发明的目的的范围内含有除乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)以外的成分。作为其他成分,没有特别限定,可以举出例如增塑剂、抗氧化剂、紫外线吸收剂、抗静电剂、表面活性剂、着色剂、光稳定剂、发泡剂、润滑剂、成核剂、结晶促进剂、结晶阻滞剂、催化剂失活剂、除乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)以外的热塑性树脂、热固性树脂、无机填充剂、有机填充剂、耐冲击性改良剂、增滑剂、交联剂、交联助剂、赋粘剂、硅烷偶联剂、加工助剂、脱模剂、抗水解剂、耐热稳定剂、防粘连剂、防雾剂、阻燃剂、阻燃助剂、光扩散剂、抗菌剂、防霉剂、分散剂、其他树脂等。其他成分可以单独使用1种,也可以组合使用2种以上。
<阻隔层>
阻隔层是为了赋予气体阻隔性、水蒸气阻隔性、进而阻挡来自外部空气的臭气、以臭气不会转移至后述的使用软包装用层叠体形成的包装体的内容物中的方式设置的层,可以优选使用经单轴拉伸或双轴拉伸的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)膜、聚酰胺膜、聚烯烃等拉伸膜、或者通过物理蒸镀或化学蒸镀等蒸镀法在该拉伸膜上以20~100nm左右的厚度设置铝等无机物、氧化铝、氧化硅等无机化合物的薄膜而得到的蒸镀有无机化合物的塑料膜、金属箔(铜箔、铝箔等)、乙烯乙烯醇共聚树脂膜、偏氯乙烯膜、聚乙烯醇膜等。根据需要,可以将它们层叠而使用。它们之中,从机械强度、阻隔性等优异的方面考虑,优选为金属箔(铜箔、铝箔等),更优选为铝箔。
阻隔层的厚度例如为5μm以上、100μm以下。
对于阻隔层而言,在与粘接层粘接(或层叠)的一侧的表面,可以为了提高与粘接层的粘接强度而实施电晕处理、等离子体处理、火焰处理、臭氧处理等物理处理。另外,也可以对阻隔层实施已知的锚涂处理。
<密封层>
本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体为了赋予热封性而具备密封层。
密封层设置在阻隔层中的与设置有粘接层的面呈相反侧的面。
密封层是用于向本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体赋予热封性的层,例如包含热塑性树脂(C1)。
密封层的厚度例如为1μm以上300μm以下,优选为5μm以上200μm以下,更优选为10μm以上150μm以下。
作为本实施方式涉及的热塑性树脂(C1),可以举出例如高密度聚乙烯、高压法低密度聚乙烯、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、线状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)等聚乙烯、乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物或其离聚物、乙烯·乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)、乙烯·α-烯烃共聚物弹性体、聚丙烯、丙烯系共聚物(丙烯与除丙烯以外的α-烯烃的共聚物)、聚丁烯、及其他烯烃系(共)聚合物、以及它们的聚合物掺混物等聚烯烃等。作为上述α-烯烃,可举出例如丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯、1-十二碳烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯等。
它们之中,从耐针孔性优异的方面考虑,作为热塑性树脂(C1),优选包含选自乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物及乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物中的至少一种,更优选包含乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物。
对于本实施方式涉及的密封层中的热塑性树脂(C1)的含量而言,将密封层整体作为100质量%时,优选为50质量%以上100质量%以下,更优选为70质量%以上100质量%以下,进一步优选为90质量%以上100质量%以下,特别优选为95质量%以上100质量%以下。由此,能够使与阻隔层的粘接性、热封性等的均衡性更良好。
本实施方式涉及的密封层中,可以在不损害本发明的目的的范围内含有除热塑性树脂(C1)以外的成分。作为其他成分,没有特别限定,可以举出例如增塑剂、抗氧化剂、紫外线吸收剂、抗静电剂、表面活性剂、着色剂、光稳定剂、发泡剂、润滑剂、成核剂、结晶促进剂、结晶阻滞剂、催化剂失活剂、除热塑性树脂(C1)以外的热塑性树脂、热固性树脂、无机填充剂、有机填充剂、耐冲击性改良剂、增滑剂、交联剂、交联助剂、赋粘剂、硅烷偶联剂、加工助剂、脱模剂、抗水解剂、耐热稳定剂、防粘连剂、防雾剂、阻燃剂、阻燃助剂、光扩散剂、抗菌剂、防霉剂、分散剂、其他树脂等。其他成分可以单独使用1种,也可以组合使用2种以上。
<其他层>
本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体可以仅由纸基材层、粘接层、阻隔层及密封层这4层构成,从向软包装用层叠体赋予各种功能的观点考虑,也可以具有除上述4层以外的层(以下,也称为其他层。)。
作为其他层,可以举出例如发泡层、无机物层、硬涂层、防反射层、防污层、锚涂层等。其他层可以单独使用1层,也可以组合使用2层以上。
<用途>
本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体可以优选作为用于对例如食品、医药品、工业用品、日用品、化妆品等进行包装的包装材料来使用。
2.软包装用层叠体的制造方法
本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体的制造方法优选包括下述挤出工序:在纸基材层上挤出涂覆包含乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的树脂组合物,由此在纸基材层上形成粘接层。即,本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体的粘接层优选为通过挤出涂覆法形成的挤出涂覆加工层。
使用挤出涂覆法时,与其他成膜法等相比,能够提高成型时的树脂温度,能够将包含乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的树脂组合物以熔融状态涂覆在纸基材层上。
即,根据本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体的制造方法,能够在纸基材层上稳定地以良好的精度形成粘接层。
作为上述挤出工序中的成型装置及成型条件,没有特别限定,可以采用以往已知的成型装置及成型条件。作为成型装置,可以使用T-模挤出机等。另外,作为成型条件,可以采用已知的挤出涂覆方法的成型条件。
本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体的制造方法中,挤出工序中的挤出涂覆温度可根据乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的种类、配合而适当地设定,因此没有特别限定,但从使制膜性良好的观点考虑,优选为200℃以上,更优选为250℃以上,特别优选为280℃以上。
挤出工序中的挤出涂覆温度的上限没有特别限定,例如为350℃以下。
3.软包装材料
本实施方式涉及的软包装材料至少具备由本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体构成的层。另外,本实施方式涉及的软包装材料可以在其一部分中使用本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体,也可以在软包装材料整体中使用本实施方式涉及的软包装用层叠体。
本实施方式涉及的软包装材料的形状没有特别限定,可举出例如片状、膜状、袋状等形状。
袋状的形态没有特别限定,可举出例如三边袋、四边袋、枕头袋、角撑袋、条状袋等。
本实施方式涉及的软包装材料可以优选作为用于对例如食品、医药品、工业用品、日用品、化妆品等进行包装的包装材料来使用。
4.软包装体
本实施方式涉及的软包装体具备本实施方式涉及的软包装材料、和被上述软包装材料包装的物品。本实施方式涉及的软包装材料具有物品保护功能。
作为上述物品,可举出例如食品、医药品、工业用品、日用品、化妆品等。
以上,对本发明的实施方式进行了说明,但这些是本发明的示例,也可以采用上述以外的各种构成。

<纸基材层>
单面美术纸(79g/m2,三菱制纸株式会社制)
关于该纸,利用环刚度法(使用东洋精机株式会社制“LOOP STIFFNESS TESTER”,间距(环长度)为100mm,宽度为25mm,压入距离为15mm,压入速度为3.3mm/sec)测定的刚性为114mN(MD方向)。
<粘接层>
(乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A))
IO-1:乙烯·甲基丙烯酸共聚物的离聚物(金属离子含量:3.2,金属离子:锌,MFR:16g/10分钟)

IO-5:乙烯·甲基丙烯酸·丙烯酸异丁酯共聚物的离聚物(金属离子含量:7.0,金属离子:锌,MFR:1.1g/10分钟)
[实施例1~7、比较例1~6]
使用具有65mmΦ挤出机(L/D=28)的挤出层压机,在模下温度为300℃、空隙为110mm、加工速度为80m/分钟的加工条件下,在线对纸基材层实施电晕处理后,在纸基材层与阻隔层之间挤出涂覆乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)、低密度聚乙烯、或乙烯·不饱和羧酸共聚物,由此得到纸基材层、粘接层及阻隔层按该顺序层叠而形成的层叠体。
进一步地,使用具有65mmΦ挤出机(L/D=28)的挤出层压机,在模下温度为285℃、空隙为110mm、加工速度为80m/分钟的加工条件下,在通过上述方式得到的层叠体的Al箔上挤出涂覆用于密封层的乙烯·不饱和羧酸共聚物或乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物,由此得到表1所示的层叠体。其中,使乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物挤出时的模下温度为300℃。
对于所得到的层叠体,分别进行以下的评价。将所得到的结果分别示于表1。
<耐针孔性评价>
将通过上述方式得到的层叠体在23℃·50%RH的条件下进行调湿之后,使用东洋精机株式会社制盖尔波·佛兰克思测试仪(Gelbo Flex Tester)(依照MIL-B-131C的标准),进行耐针孔性的评价。具体而言,首先,将以层叠体的MD(Machine Direction)方向为长边而按A4(297mm×210mm)尺寸取样得到的长方形测试膜,制成使密封层为内侧的长度为210mm的圆筒状。把持其两端,计数在有效拉伸空间(stroke)的最初的64mm中施加角度为440度的扭转、其后在90mm中将由作为直进水平运动的动作的反复组成的往复运动以40次/分钟的速度进行50次之后的针孔数。进行2次该测定,利用其平均值进行评价。

Claims (11)
1.软包装用层叠体,其中,至少纸基材层、粘接层、阻隔层及密封层以所述的顺序层叠,
所述粘接层包含乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A),
将构成所述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)中的不饱和羧酸的含量设为X[质量%],将所述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的中和度设为Y[摩尔%]时,由X×Y/100表示的金属离子含量为4.0以上20.0以下。
2.如权利要求1所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
依照JIS K7210:1999而在190℃、2160g负荷的条件下测定的、所述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的熔体流动速率(MFR)为0.1g/10分钟以上10g/10分钟以下。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
所述粘接层的厚度为5μm以上。
4.软包装用层叠体,其中,在权利要求1至3中任一项所述的层叠膜中,
所述粘接层为挤出涂覆加工层。
5.如权利要求1至4中任一项所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
构成所述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物(A1)的不饱和羧酸包含选自丙烯酸及甲基丙烯酸中的至少一种。
6.如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
构成所述乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物(A)的金属离子包含选自钠离子及锌离子中的至少一种。
7.如权利要求1至6中任一项所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
构成所述纸基材层的纸的克重为225g/m2以下。
8.如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
所述阻隔层包含金属箔。
9.如权利要求1至8中任一项所述的软包装用层叠体,其中,
所述密封层包含选自乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物及乙烯·不饱和羧酸系共聚物的离聚物中的至少一种。
10.软包装材料,其至少具备由权利要求1至9中任一项所述的层叠体构成的层。
11.软包装体,其具备权利要求10所述的软包装材料、和被所述软包装材料包装的物品。
