Description

Solenopsis invicta granular poison bait and preparation and release methods thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of insect killing bait, and particularly relates to solenopsis invicta granular poison bait and a preparation and release method thereof.
Background
Red fire ants are an invasive insect, the primordial region of the balana river basin in south america, and are currently distributed throughout the world in major tropical, subtropical and temperate regions. Due to the lack of effective natural enemies and the fact that red imported fire ants are located, a large number of plants and small animals are subjected to destructive survival pressure, and the abundance of other types of local ants is suddenly reduced, so that the local ecological environment can be rapidly changed, and even an ecological disaster is caused. People have the pain of burning with intense fire when being bitten by the people, mild people have the pain and itching of at least one week and have pus bags, severe people have scars for one month, and people with allergic constitution have difficulty in breathing, dizziness, edema of extremities and even coma shock and death after being bitten by the people.
The existing red imported fire ant killing agent mainly adopts two forms of powder and granules, and the powder forms are divided into two types of contact killing type and trapping killing type. The contact killing type powder is generally a pyrethroid pesticide with stronger toxicity to red fire ants, the ant nest needs to be damaged as much as possible when the contact killing type powder is applied, meanwhile, the powder is put into disordered worker ant groups, the worker ants mutually touch and transfer the toxic agents until the toxic agents are transferred to young ants and the ants, and finally, the ant holes lose the activity; the trapping and killing powder has the advantages that the effective components of the trapping and killing powder are generally slow-toxic-action agents, the trapping and killing powder is uniformly scattered around a nest when being applied, the trapping and killing powder contains components capable of attracting solenopsis invicta to eat, and the solenopsis invicta collects the powdery agents into the nest to feed young solenopsis invicta to be further transferred to the formica, so that the whole formica is killed. The solenopsis invicta granule is prepared by mixing slow-acting effective medicament into bait with an attracting effect, uniformly stirring, preparing powdery mixture into fine granules suitable for conveying the solenopsis invicta by using a mode of rolling granules, extruding granulation and compression roller granulation, putting the fine granules around a nest of the solenopsis invicta, actively conveying the granules into the nest for storage and feeding, transferring the medicament among individuals through a copulation action, and finally conducting the medicament to the rear of the solenopsis invigoration so as to poison the whole nest and achieve the killing effect.
When the contact killing type powder for the solenopsis invicta is applied, the ant nest needs to be damaged, the solenopsis invicta is very easy to frighten, so that the breeding ants fly out in advance or transfer after the ants, the killing efficiency is reduced, and the frightened workers and ants are easy to bite the pesticide applying personnel; if the medicine is applied without destroying the nest, the medicine stays outside the ant nest, and workers can identify the medicine, so that the medicine is avoided, or the nest is transferred, and the killing effect cannot be achieved; the red fire ant trapping and killing powder has the problems that the carrying efficiency of red fire ant workers is low, the red fire ant workers are easily blown away by wind or wetted by rain when in use, the carrying capacity of actual medicaments is reduced due to the fact that the red fire ant workers are easily affected with damp, and the like. In addition, in the existing mainstream medicament, the solenopsis invicta granules have low content of effective medicament and complex ingredients in the granular bait, so that the condition of uneven dispersion of the medicament is easy to occur, and the medicament-carrying granules cannot be accurately conveyed into an ant nest in the conveying and feeding process of the solenopsis invicta, so that the trapping and killing effect is unstable; and in the southern areas where the red fire ants are rampant in activity, seasonal rainfall is more, and in the red fire ant prevention and control work, the agents often have rain shower after spreading soon, so that the bait agent scattered on the ground is washed away and lost, and the pesticide application efficiency is reduced.

Test example 1
The effects of the red imported fire ant granular bait, the contact killing powder and the embedded granular bait release bottle are compared, wherein the red imported fire ant granular bait uses the bait with the indoxacarb content of 0.1 percent, and the powder uses the powder with the high-efficiency cypermethrin content of 0.05 percent.
When the granular bait agent release bottle is manufactured, a packaging machine is used for packaging the red imported fire ant bait agent in batches to manufacture the release bottle with the indoxacarb effective medicament content of 0.1 percent and the net weight of 150g, and the interior of the bottle body; the bottle body of the release bottle is made of degradable plastic, the bottle mouth is an easy-to-tear mouth, and the bottle mouth is opened when the release bottle is used; the releasing port is downwards inserted into the ant dune of the ant nest, or the bottle mouth of the releasing bottle is directly and obliquely embedded into the soil within the range of 2 meters around the ant dune, and the releasing box can be directly arranged on the ground surface near the nest.
In the test, the plots with serious occurrence of the Hainan delirium red fire ants are selected, 30 nests are selected for medicament administration each time, 3, 7 days in 2021 are administration days, and the nest survival statistics is carried out every 5 days. The rains are forecasted on the current day of the application, and the thunderstorm rain is forecasted on the next day.
And selecting a red imported fire ant emergence place again at 11 months 3 and 2021, selecting 30 nests for medicament administration every time, and performing living nest statistics every 5 days. During the application period, the weather is clear and no rain, and the rain is slight in 10 days.
Control zones were subjected to viable nest statistics only. The control effect is calculated according to (the nest decline rate of the treatment area-the nest decline rate of the control area)/(100-the nest decline rate of the control area). 100% after 20 days of drug application, and the nest decline rate is calculated according to (the number of the treated living nests-the number of the treated living nests)/the number of the treated living nests. 100%.
The results are as follows:
TABLE 1.3 administration and investigation results on 7/month
Figure BDA0003322977460000151
TABLE 2.3 application and investigation results on 11/month day
Figure BDA0003322977460000152
Through comparison of release tests, the control effect of the release bottle in 20 days of release in sunny days is basically consistent with that of the bait without the release bottle, and when the bait is released in rainy days, the bait released by the release bottle is protected by the bottle and cannot be carried away by water, so that the pesticide can continue to play a role, and after about 15 days, the live red fire ants in nests begin to be obviously reduced, and the control effect is obviously higher than that of independently spreading the bait or powder.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the foregoing is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the invention, and that any modification, equivalent replacement, or improvement made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the present invention.
