Background
The fittings (including built-in and external fittings) on the plastic fuel tank are connected by special fixing members made of plastic, and the fixing members usually consist of a bolt portion and a flange portion fixedly connected to the end of the bolt portion. When the oil tank is assembled with the built-in part or the external part, the support rod of the stud part is used for connecting the oil tank body with the accessory, and the flange part penetrates through and is welded on the surface of the oil tank, so that the assembly process of the accessory is completed.
At present, the fuel tank manufacturer usually needs to purchase the complete fixing member from the external part supplier, that is, the flange part and the stud part are processed and manufactured at the part supplier, and after the flange part and the stud part are fixedly connected to form the fixing member, the fixing member is supplied to the fuel tank manufacturer in the form of the whole fixing member by the part supplier.
Because the material and the manufacturing process of the fixing piece are relatively mature at a part supplier, the space for reducing the cost is small; moreover, when the part supplier supplies the whole parts to the oil tank manufacturer, the packaging space of the fixing piece in the whole form is relatively large, so that the transportation cost is increased to a certain extent; meanwhile, in the transportation process, the perpendicularity of the flange part and the bolt column part is difficult to reliably guarantee, and the situation that a certain number of fixing parts deform in a purchased batch of fixing parts is often found, namely the perpendicularity deviation of the flange part and the bolt column part is large, so that the flange part and the bolt column part cannot be used for subsequent assembly of accessories.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention is directed to provide an oil tank mold, a method for manufacturing a fixing member, and a fixing member for manufacturing a fixing member, which utilize the high temperature softening characteristic of an oil tank parison in the oil tank blow molding process to connect and shape the excess parison at the edge of the oil tank during mold closing molding with an independently prefabricated stud portion, so as to form a flange portion and fixedly connect the flange portion and the stud portion into an integral fixing member, thereby solving the disadvantages of purchasing and transporting the integral fixing member, and reducing the manufacturing cost of the fixing member.

Reference will now be made in detail to embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like or similar reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar function throughout. It should be noted that the original object of the present invention is to use the extra parison portion (scrap, leftover) of the tank parison during the tank blow molding process to make the flange portion of the fixing member (also referred to as the flange cap of the fixing member), so it is understood that the preset position is the mold region of the complete tank mold that is not essential to the molding process, such as but not limited to the edge portion of the first mold, and of course, since the first flange setting groove 11 is opposite to the stud receiving groove 2, the position of the stud receiving groove 2 provided on the second mold 20 is also the mold region that is not essential to the molding process, such as but not limited to the edge portion of the second mold.
As described above, the flange portion of the fixing member is generally welded to the tank body when the inner member or the outer member is assembled, and therefore, in addition to the above-described embodiment, it is preferable that the second mold 20 is formed with the second flange setting groove 12, and as shown in fig. 1, the second flange setting groove 12 is located outside the stud receiving groove 2. Preferably, the second flange setting groove 12 may correspond to an edge position of the first flange setting groove 11, that is, when the flange portion of the fixing member is manufactured, a connection portion for subsequent welding with the fuel tank body may extend from an edge of the flange portion, so as to facilitate an assembling operation of the fuel tank fitting.
Further, as mentioned above, normally, the first mold 10 and the second mold 20 are placed in a horizontal direction, and in order to ensure that the flange portion and the stud portion of the fixing member are connected reliably, aligned in position and perpendicular to each other when the fixing member is manufactured, it may be considered to provide a stabilizing device (not shown) in the stud receiving groove 2, wherein the stabilizing device is used for tightly locking the post of the stud portion placed in the stud receiving groove so as to ensure that the stud portion reaches the manufacturing requirement of the fixing member and cannot easily slip out of the stud receiving groove 2, and in actual operation, the stabilizing device may include, but is not limited to, any one or more of the following forms: the claw-shaped clamp, the elastic mechanism, the clamping component or the filler can be realized in a specific mode by referring to positioning, clamping and other similar device mechanisms in the mechanical field. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the stabilization device will ensure that the post portion is stable, yet will also ensure that it is convenient and feasible to place the post portion and remove the completed fastener.
Accordingly, based on the improved oil tank mold, the invention provides an embodiment of a method for manufacturing a fixing member, as shown in fig. 2, 3 and 4, wherein fig. 2 illustrates a manufacturing process, fig. 3 illustrates a manufacturing state before mold closing, and fig. 4 illustrates a manufacturing state after mold closing, specifically:
step S1, placing the stud part 31 in the stud receiving groove 2 of the second mold 20, and making the tip 310 of the stud part 31 protrude from the second mold 20.
Step S2, in the process of blow molding the fuel tank, when the first mold 10 and the second mold 20 are closed, the softened fuel tank parison 30 between the first flange-shaped groove 11 of the first mold 10 and the plug-receiving groove 2 is subjected to a pressing force, and the flange portion 32 is obtained by shaping the first flange-shaped groove 11, and the end 310 of the plug portion 31 is inserted into the flange portion 32 and connected to the flange portion 32. Because the tank parison remnant 30 is in a high-temperature softened state at this stage of manufacture, the connection between the end of the stud portion and the flange portion at the stage of mold clamping can be achieved by any one or more of the following means: embedded, welded or riveted.
Based on the manufacturing method of the fixing piece, the fixing piece for subsequent accessory installation can be manufactured at the same time of forming the fuel tank, and the invention also provides an embodiment of the fixing piece, as shown in fig. 5, the fixing piece comprises a separately prefabricated bolt column part 31 and a flange part 32 made of fuel tank parison remnants, wherein the bolt column part 31 is provided with a head 310 and a support rod 311, and the head 310 is fixedly connected with the flange part 32. In combination with the above-mentioned method for manufacturing the fastening device, the manner of fixedly connecting the head 310 of the stud portion 31 and the flange portion 32 may include any one or more of the following: embedded, riveted or welded. Fig. 5 shows an engagement embodiment in which an insertion groove 3101 for engagement with the tank parison remnant may be formed on the side of the tip 310 of the separately prefabricated plug portion 31, and when the tip 310 is inserted into the softened tank parison remnant 30, a stable engagement relationship with the tank parison remnant 30 may be established by means of the insertion groove 3101, with reference to the above-described manner.
Of course, in addition to that, as shown in fig. 6, the body of the head 310 of the stud portion 31 of the fixing member may be provided with a riveting groove 3102 for riveting with the remainder of the fuel tank parison, and the manufacturing method described above can be referred to, when the head 310 is inserted into the softened fuel tank parison remainder 30, the hot-melt parison can be extruded into the prefabricated riveting groove 3102, so that the head 310 and the fuel tank parison remainder 30 form a stable riveting relationship; as shown in fig. 7, the fixing member may further include a protrusion 3103 on the upper end surface of the head 310 of the stud portion 31 for welding with the tank parison residue, and when the head 310 is inserted into the softened tank parison residue 30, the protrusion 3103 is melted by the high-temperature parison, so that the head 310 and the tank parison residue 30 are firmly welded (i.e., they are welded together). Finally, it should be noted that the connection structure in fig. 5 to 7 is only shown schematically, and when the end 310 is inserted into the softened tank parison residue 30, the shape structure (which is also made of plastic) of the connection structure in the drawings may be changed due to high temperature, that is, the connection structure is different from the connection structure in the drawings, and the description of the invention is omitted.
