Abstract

本发明通过将红色荧光粉的荧光膜构成叠层结构而改善了彩色显像管的色纯度和亮度。本发明涉及彩色显像管荧光膜的结构,其中的红色荧光粉的荧光膜包括具有由两种不同组分:Y2O2S:Eu和Y2O3:Eu制成的叠层结构的荧光粉层。

Description

彩色显像管的荧光膜结构
本发明涉及彩色显像管的荧光膜结构。特别是,本发明涉及在红荧光粉的荧光膜上构成的两种以上多层荧光粉的荧光膜结构。
在彩色显像管、荧光灯、投影式阴极射线管等中使用三色荧光粉。彩色显像管一般包括连续地被覆三色(绿、蓝、红)荧光粉的荧光屏,作为靠射在整个玻璃表面的屏盘内表面上的电子而产生辐射的基本元件。
制造这种荧光屏的工艺大体分为涂敷吸光的黑底材料(BM)[图1]和涂敷三色荧光粉的荧光体(PH)[图2]。
如图1所示,涂敷吸光BM工艺包括清洗和干燥屏盘1,然后在其上注入和涂敷感光剂;使用限定待形成三基色的荧光材料的部位的掩模进行曝光、显影,形成感光剂掩模;涂敷石墨;以及蚀刻、显影并干燥所述感光剂掩模,形成厚约5~10μm的石墨带2。
随后,如图2所示,清洗已形成BM的屏盘,然后涂以预涂层并干燥。在其上涂敷绿色荧光粉、光敏剂、聚乙烯醇、交联剂和分散剂的混合物,并干燥、曝光及显影,形成绿色荧光膜3。按相同工艺过程形成蓝色荧光膜4和红色荧光膜5。
然后,形成(感光)乳胶膜并淀积Al。
在三色荧光膜中,绿色荧光粉包括ZnS∶Cu、Al、ZnS∶Au、Al、[(Zn、Cd)S∶Cu、Al]等;蓝色荧光粉包括ZnS∶Ag、ZnS∶Ag、Al等,而红色荧光粉包括Y2O2S∶Eu、Y2O3∶Eu等。
这些三色荧光粉应具有良好的辐射色纯度,作为三基色光,及对电子射线激励能量有高的辐射效率,即高的辐射亮度。
现在,将与辐射色相同的着色颜料粘到荧光体核(fluorescen-cer core)的表面上,以改善屏的辐射色纯度和对比度。虽然粘敷这种颜料的荧光粉对色纯度和对比度是有益的,但对辐射亮度是不利的。
这是因为颜料以其基本特性吸收(全波长范围的)光,但是红色颜料几乎不吸收红色波长范围的光,而强吸收其它波长范围的光,导致上述现象。
本发明的目的在于构成一具有第一红色荧光膜层和第二红色荧光膜层的叠层结构的红色荧光膜,以便增强红光辐射和白色亮度。
为达此目的,本发明提供用于彩色显像管的荧光膜,包括以绿、蓝、红三色荧光粉所形成的荧光膜,其中的红色荧光粉的荧光膜的荧光粉层具有由两种以上的不同组分制成的叠层结构。
图1是常规的涂敷石墨工艺的流程图。
图2是常规的涂敷荧光粉工艺的流程图。
图3是常规的荧光膜的结构视图。
图4是本发明的荧光膜的结构视图。
如图4所示,说明本发明的荧光膜的结构。本发明的荧光膜不同于常规荧光膜[图3],其中在于前者包括红荧光膜的多层结构。
在已形成BM的屏盘1的面板的内表面上,形成绿色荧光膜3和蓝色荧光膜4,而红色荧光膜包括第一红色荧光层6和第二红色荧光层7。
在上述结构中,多层荧光膜是经以下工艺以旋涂法,注入用于第一红色荧光层6粘有颜料的包括Y2O2S∶Eu的组分,经干燥及曝光(本层不显影);注入用于第二红色荧光层7不粘有颜料的包括Y2O3∶Eu的组分,经干燥、曝光及显影;以及涂以丙烯酸乳胶制备的。
用于本发明的Y2O2S∶Eu荧光粉粉末的色轴系的X-轴为0.645±0.005,其Y-轴是0.635±0.005。荧光粉粉末的可反射度[以MgO为基准]为30~70%。由于靠粘敷的颜料减少了外光的反射而具有良好的色纯度和对比度的优点,但还有亮度低的缺点。
相反,Y2O3∶Eu荧光粉的粉末的色轴系的X-轴为0.635±0.005,Y-轴为0.655±0.005,而粉末的可反射度为70%或更高。但它的色纯度低于前者,却具有相当有利的亮度。
所以,荧光粉若以单层构成,无论哪一层的性能均不能令人满意。然而,根据本发明,用两种荧光粉构成多层可改善色纯度和对比度。
第一红色荧光层6的膜厚优选为第二红色荧光层7的10~50%。
倘若第一红色荧光层6的厚度等于第二红色荧光层7的10%,由于一部分第二红色荧光体层直接接触到屏盘而可能降低对比度。如果该厚度厚于50%,第二红色荧光层的辐射强度相当弱,因而不能改善亮度。
在本发明的实施例中,虽然第一荧光层包括Y2O2S∶Eu,第二层包括Y2O3∶Eu,但每层的组分是可改变的,而且每层也不限于一种组分。
根据本发明,荧光膜由于能使从具有良好辐射效率的第二荧光粉层7所辐射的光通过具有良好色纯度的第一荧光粉层6而具有高的辐射效率且不降低总色纯度。
如上所述,根据本发明,形成一红色荧光膜,克服了荧光粉固有的缺点,具有不同组分的叠层荧光粉相辅相成,得到了色纯度、亮度等等均获改善的荧光膜。本发明提供一种性能优良的彩色显像管以及荧光灯的荧光屏或投影式阴极射线管。

Claims (4)

1、一种彩色显像管的荧光膜,包括具有绿、蓝、红三色荧光粉的荧光膜,其中,红色荧光粉的荧光膜具有由两种以上的不同组分制成的叠层结构。
2、一种根据权利要求1的彩色显像管的荧光膜,其中的红色荧光粉的荧光膜包括Y2O2S∶Eu和Y2O3∶Eu膜。
3、一种根据权利要求2的彩色显像管的荧光膜,其中所说的Y2O2S∶Eu的膜厚为所说的Y2O3∶Eu的膜厚的10~50%。
4、一种根据权利要求2的彩色显像管的荧光膜,其中,包括Y2O2S∶Eu的第一红色荧光膜和包括Y2O3∶Eu的第二红色荧光膜是连续层叠的。
