A tunnel surrounding rock protective material installation device is characterized by comprising a moving platform and telescopic supporting plates, wherein one ends of the telescopic supporting plates are connected with rotating shafts, the telescopic supporting plates are respectively installed on the moving platform through the corresponding rotating shafts, and the axes of all the rotating shafts are parallel; one end of the telescopic support plate, which is far away from the rotating shaft, is used as a sweeping surface, and the telescopic support plate can change the distance between the sweeping surface and the rotating shaft through stretching; the rotating shaft is connected with a swing driving mechanism, and the supporting plate swings around the axis of the rotating shaft in a reciprocating mode under the driving of the rotating shaft.

and scraping the protective materials gradually from the middle to the two sides through the sweeping surface to ensure that the protective materials are attached to the surrounding rock.
