a method of replacing an insulator string comprising the steps of:
s1, installing a wire twisting hardware fitting on the lead of the insulator string to be replaced, winding the wire twisting hardware fitting on the lead, and connecting one end of the wire twisting hardware fitting to a three-hole connecting plate for connecting the insulator string to be replaced and the lead;
s2, connecting one end of a hoist to the three-hole connecting plate, and connecting the other end of the hoist to a tower;
s3, mounting a bottle supporting frame on the hoist, wherein the bottle supporting frame is arranged on the outer side of the insulator string to be replaced, and the porcelain bottle of the insulator string to be replaced can slide on an inner rail of the bottle supporting frame;
s4, mounting a pulley on the tower, mounting a pull rope on the pulley, and connecting one end of the pull rope with the insulator string to be replaced and the other end of the pull rope with the new insulator string;

When the pull rope frame works, two ends of the pull rope frame are respectively bound on the new insulator string and the old insulator string and the connecting hardware fitting, the pull rope penetrates through the pulley, the new insulator can be conveniently pulled to a tower by using the weight of the old insulator, labor is greatly saved, and field workers are reduced.
The whole set of tools related to the method only comprise a wire stranding hardware fitting, a hoist, a bottle supporting frame, a pull rope and a pulley. Compared with the conventional operation method, the method has the advantages that the whole set of tools is small in size, the tools are more portable and convenient to operate, field workers can be effectively reduced, the working time is shortened, the operation efficiency is improved, meanwhile, the insulator can be effectively prevented from overturning, and the operation safety is improved.

3. The insulator string replacing device solves the problem that the insulator string is easy to overturn through the insulator support, improves the safety of operation, and improves the replacing efficiency by providing the insulator support for the insulator string.
4. According to the invention, by matching the pulleys and the pull ropes, the new insulator can be conveniently pulled to the tower by using the weight of the old insulator, so that the labor is saved, and the field workers are reduced.
