Description

Spindle tape driving spinning machine
Technical Field
The object of the present invention is a spindle tape drive spinning machine for a spinning line for obtaining a yarn package from a roving bobbin, typically from a roving frame.
Background
Spinning machines are known that operate roving bobbins in order to obtain a yarn package from the roving after drawing and twisting.
To this end, the spinning machine comprises: a gantry extending along a longitudinal axis, on which the roving bobbins are suspended; a pulling device arranged below the gantry and formed by a set of rollers having a longitudinal extension, between which the roving passes in order to be pulled; and two opposite banks (banks, groups) each supporting a spindle rotating about its vertical axis, the spindles being in a row along the longitudinal axis, the drawn and twisted yarn being wound on the spindles.
In a spindle belt driven spinning machine, the spindle is placed in rotation about a vertical axis by a handling device comprising a main shaft extending along the whole machine and provided with a plurality of pulleys spaced apart longitudinally. Each pulley supports a belt (or band) that engages four spindles, two spindles per bank (for this type of spinning machine the oz-Saxon name is effectively a "four-spindle spinning machine"). The handling device then comprises an electric motor for rotating the spindle, which is accommodated in the tail of the spinning machine.
The current trend in the industry is to provide a very large number of spindles for the creels to increase the productivity of the spinning line.
However, the increase in the number of spindles increases the length of the spinning machine and thus also the length of the spindle, which presents drawbacks in the functioning of the spinning machine and in other aspects such as the execution of maintenance work.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to devise a belt driven spinning machine which meets the industry needs and overcomes the drawbacks mentioned with reference to the prior art.
