技术领域

背景技术
下泌尿道感染是由于在下泌尿道中的正常菌群被泌尿道致病性细菌替换,在女性中为常见的感染性疾病。一般会以抗生素治疗下泌尿道感染,且在临床上完全康复后,大约20%至30%先前曾经历下泌尿道感染的女性可能会在一年内复发泌尿道感染。上述情况可被定义为反复性泌尿道感染(recurrent urinary tract infection;rUTI)。所述泌尿道致病性细菌是源自于泌尿道外组织,或持续存在于膀胱上皮中。
目前用于反复性泌尿道感染的预防措施可包括抗生素性和非抗生素性预防措施。长期服用低剂量抗生素已被证明可有效地预防反复性泌尿道感染。然而,服用低剂量抗生素后,在下泌尿道中的所述泌尿道致病性细菌可能会因此发展出抗药性。非抗生素性预防措施可包括膀胱灌注(intravesical instillation)透明质酸(hyaluronic acid)、阴道灌注雌激素,以及补充蔓越莓、维他命C或甘露糖(D-mannose)。
在前述列出的非抗生素性预防措施中,临床上唯一被证实有效的反复性泌尿道感染预防措施为膀胱灌注透明质酸。然而,膀胱灌注为一复杂的程序,且仅能由医师执行。
因此,本发明的目的之一为提供一种可靠且方便的反复性泌尿道感染预防措施。
发明内容
本发明的目的之一为提供用于预防反复性泌尿道感染的一药物组合物的一有效治疗剂量。

如此处所述,“戊聚糖多硫酸钠(pentosan polysulfate sodium;PPS)”一词指的是一种半合成、类肝素且由碳水化合物衍生的大分子,其分子量为4000–6000道尔顿(Dalton)。戊聚糖多硫酸钠是一种白色、无嗅且轻微吸湿的粉末,在pH值为6的水中,溶解度最高可到50%。图1为根据本发明的一实施例,戊聚糖多硫酸钠的一化学结构。戊聚糖多硫酸钠的所述化学式为(C5H6Na2O10S2)n,且图1中的R为SO3Na。戊聚糖多硫酸钠也是一市面上已贩卖药物:的活性药物成分(API)。
服用戊聚糖多硫酸钠已被核准作为间质性膀胱炎(internal cystitis;IC)或称为膀胱疼痛症候群(painful bladder syndrome;PBS)的治疗方式,因为戊聚糖多硫酸钠的化学结构和性质类似于膀胱壁的糖胺聚糖(glycosaminoglycan)层。所述膀胱壁上的糖胺聚糖层包括透明质酸(hyaluronic acid)、硫酸软骨素(chondroitin sulfate)、硫酸角质素(keratan sulfate)和硫酸肝素(heparin sulfate)。所述膀胱壁上的糖胺聚糖层为表皮细胞的一保护层,且能预防尿道致病性病菌黏附到所述膀胱壁上,因此避免了膀胱的进一步细菌感染。戊聚糖多硫酸钠结构上和硫酸肝素相似,而硫酸肝素为糖胺聚糖的一种且为一抗凝血剂。由于其与糖胺聚糖相似,当被排泄到尿液中时,戊聚糖多硫酸钠能作为膀胱壁的一保护涂层,因此避免尿道致病性病菌黏附到所述膀胱壁上。几个常见的戊聚糖多硫酸钠副作用包括:恶心、腹泻、不消化、头痛、红疹、消化不良、下腹部疼痛、肝功能异常、头晕和直肠出血。
如此处所述,“预防”一词包括了个体在暴露于病原体前或个体在发生所述疾病或异常的一种或多种症状前的疾病预防措施。此处所提供的预防方法包括使一个体在一指定时间中口服一有效剂量的戊聚糖多硫酸钠。适合的个体包括易受此处所述的疾病影响的人类个体,或在暴露于此处所述的疾病的病原体前的动物模型。
如此处所述,“有效治疗剂量”指的是为了达成所需治疗成效,于必需的治疗时间中有效的剂量,例如抑制或预防特定组织或器官的细菌感染。戊聚糖多硫酸钠的有效治疗剂量可能会因个体的年龄、性别、体重和/或体面积而有不同。有效治疗剂量也可为戊聚糖多硫酸钠所带来的治疗的效益远大于其毒性或有害反应的剂量。
根据本发明的一实施例,本发明提供了一种预防反复性泌尿道感染(recurrenturinary tract infection;rUTI)的方法,其为口服所述有效治疗剂量的戊聚糖多硫酸钠。对反复性泌尿道感染的病人来说,每次的泌尿道感染都会造成膀胱黏膜受损,也因此增加了对下一次细菌感染的感受性。当戊聚糖多硫酸钠被排泄进入尿液时,戊聚糖多硫酸钠可以作为所述泌尿道的表皮细胞的保护涂层。所述由戊聚糖多硫酸钠所提供的保护涂层可修复泌尿道黏膜,因此抑制了泌尿道致病性细菌对泌尿道的附着和入侵,且也能促进受损膀胱上皮的修复。因而,可以预防由泌尿道致病性细菌在泌尿道所造成的反复性感染。
根据本发明的一实施例,本发明也提供了一种戊聚糖多硫酸钠用于制备预防反复性泌尿道感染的药物的应用,包括用于口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠的有效治疗剂量。
根据本发明的一实施例,以下实验展示了口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠的疗效,以及在大鼠或人类个体中口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠用于预防反复性泌尿道感染的有效剂量。
实例1:大鼠口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠在预防由泌尿道致病性大肠杆菌(Escherichiacoli)造成的泌尿道感染的疗效
本实例的目的为建立一泌尿道感染大鼠动物模式、研究口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠在泌尿道感染大鼠动物模式中于膀胱内的疗效、厘清和泌尿道感染有关的生物标记,并且针对预防泌尿道感染发展新的目标。
本实例使Sprague-Dawley(SD)大鼠感染泌尿道致病性大肠杆菌(uropathogenicEscherichia coli;UPEC),以建立泌尿道感染大鼠动物模式。已知UPEC是泌尿道感染最主要的原因。UPEC的毒性因子能够调节其在膀胱上皮细胞上的黏附和侵入能力,而UPEC的鞭毛使其能够逃过宿主的免疫反应。用于本实例中的UPEC为700336TM,编号为J96(血清型O4:K6),从台湾食品工业研究所购入。所述UPEC存储于胰蛋白酶大豆琼脂/培养液(trypticase soy agar/broth)中,并且在5000rpm的条件下离心10分钟。所述UPEC的沉淀物再悬浮于10mL无菌磷酸盐缓冲生理食盐水(phosphate buffered saline;PBS)中。所述UPEC的细胞密度被调整为1至1.1的光学密度(OD600)。此光学密度相当于8×107至2×108的菌落形成单元(colony forming unit;CFU)/mL。所述UPEC再被加入一250μL的0.9%生理食盐水,调配为能形成8×107CFU的悬浮液,再用以感染大鼠。
30只健康雌性SD大鼠随机分布至3组中:一控制组、一泌尿道感染动物模式组、以及一戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组,其中上述的每一组具有10只雌性SD大鼠。在图3至图7中,所述泌尿道感染动物模式组被标记为“UTI”且所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组被标记为“UROpre”。
根据本发明的一实施例,图2为本实例的一实验流程图。所述控制组没有服用任何戊聚糖多硫酸钠或被UPEC感染。所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组在第1日经尿道导管(trans-urethral catherization)感染UPEC。所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组是自第-14日至第0日,用连接于一3mL针筒的18G不锈钢灌食针,以口灌食(oral gavage)方式喂食戊聚糖多硫酸钠。在本实例中,用于大鼠的戊聚糖多硫酸钠的剂量为30毫克/公斤/日。大鼠的尿液样本是用PE50导管,以导尿管(trans-urethral instillation)方式,在第1、3、7、10和14日所取得;血液样本也是在第1、3、7、10和14日,以连接1mL针筒的23G针头,从尾静脉取得。本实例的大鼠在第14日牺牲。50μL的尿液样本在LB培养液中稀释10倍,而未稀释的尿液样本则各点在3盘LB琼脂培养皿中。所述LB培养液和LB琼脂培养皿至于37℃中培育16至18小时。在LB培养液中的UPEC和LB琼脂培养皿中的UPEC于培育后再行定量。泌尿道组织样本则在大鼠死后从肾脏和膀胱取得,且使用H/E染色以检验所述泌尿道组织的组织学特征。
图3为符合本发明的一实施例中,比较所述控制组、所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组的尿液细菌计数的一条形图。图3显示了所述控制组、所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组的尿液细菌计数在第0日时低于103CFU/mL,且所述控制组的尿液细菌计数在本实例中皆维持103CFU/mL。所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组的尿液细菌计数在第1、3和7日皆低于所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的尿液细菌计数,这代表了戊聚糖多硫酸钠可能会使本实例中的UPEC的生长被抑制。
图4为符合本发明的一实施例中,比较所述控制组、所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组的外围血白血球计数的一条形图。在不同组中的白血球计数反映了大鼠的UPEC感染状况:较高的白血球计数可能代表较严重的UPEC感染。所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组的白血球计数在第3日后稳定下降,且在第1、3和7日低于所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的白血球计数。所述泌尿道感染动物模式组中的白血球计数在第1、3和7日中皆为3组中最高。
图5为符合本发明的一实施例中,在所述大鼠口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠实验的所述控制组、所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组之间,比较各组外围血红血球计数的一条形图。此处不同组大鼠的红血球计数没有显著的不同。
此处的Luminex分析试验被用于评估与感染或发炎有关的外围血生物标记物。图6为符合本发明的一实施例中,在所述大鼠口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠实验的所述控制组、所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组之间,比较各组的Luminex分析结果中IL-1β浓度水平的一条形图。IL-1β浓度水平和一当下的发炎或感染反应有关,且IL-1β浓度水平较高代表较严重的发炎。所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组于第3日的IL-1β浓度水平显著地低于所述泌尿道感染动物模式组。这代表了相较于所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的感染,由UPEC所造成的感染在所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组中已被较佳地控制住。图7为符合本发明的一实施例中,在所述大鼠口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠实验的所述控制组、所述泌尿道感染动物模式组和所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组之间,比较各组的Luminex分析结果中TNF-α浓度水平的一条形图。TNF-α为一种会促进发炎反应的细胞激素,且TNF-α浓度水平较高代表大鼠中有较严重的发炎反应。相较于所述泌尿道感染动物模式组,所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组在第3和第14日展现了较低的TNF-α浓度水平,此代表了较弱的发炎反应。
根据本发明的一实施例,图8A为所述控制组的一膀胱组织的H/E染色结果;图8B为所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的一膀胱组织的H/E染色结果;图8C为所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防组的一膀胱组织的H/E染色结果。可以在图8C中观察到组织表层累积了一层新生成的上皮细胞。在图8C中,所述累积于膀胱上皮组织表层的新生成上皮细胞表现出戊聚糖多硫酸钠涂层的保护效果也有助于发展出结构更完整的膀胱上皮组织,而目前已知在抵抗UPEC感染时,结构完整的膀胱上皮组织是相当重要的。
总而言之,此实例中使大鼠持续14天口服30毫克/公斤/日的戊聚糖多硫酸钠有效地降低大鼠的泌尿道感染,并且和所述泌尿道感染动物模式组相比,其和发炎相关的细胞激素的浓度水平较低。
实例2:人类个体口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠于预防反复性泌尿道感染的疗效
本实例为一多中心、前瞻性、开放式(open-label)、第二期的随机对照试验。本实例的目的为研究人类个体口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠对于预防反复性泌尿道感染的疗效。本实例的试验期间为16周,此应可涵盖大部分的反复性泌尿道感染复发事件。
在本实例中的所述人类个体是在门诊中筛选并招募而来。符合资格的病患为20–70岁女性病患,在过去的6个月中有≥2次的泌尿道感染病史,或在过去的12个月中有≥3次的泌尿道感染病史,且在前几次的泌尿道感染中以抗生素治疗。所述符合资格的病患须没有下泌尿道症状且已自前一次的泌尿道感染中完全复原。本实例亦排除具有下列情形的病患:对戊聚糖多硫酸钠有过敏反应者、在本试验结束后的24周观察期内有计划接受任何手术者、曾在筛选前90天参加过任何介入性临床试验者、曾在筛选前3个月内接受过膀胱灌注透明质酸者、怀孕、上泌尿道染者、发烧高于38℃者、血清白血球计数高于12,000/mm3、曾于一周内插有导尿管者、尿路异常(urinary tract anaomalies)者、间质性膀胱炎者(interstitial cystitis)、肾功能不全者、具癌症病史者、免疫功能低下(immunocomprimised)者、曾接受过器官移植者、盆腔器官脱垂(pelvic organ prolapse)2级或高于2级者、尿残量(post-voiding residual urine)大于100mL者、压力性或急迫性尿失禁(stress or urge urinary incontinence)者以及筛选后尿意细菌培养呈现阳性者。共筛选45位病患的资格,其中纳入27位病患,排除了18位病患。本试验中的筛选过程被定义为第1次访视。
所述27位病患随机分配到一戊聚糖多硫酸钠组(N=13)和一控制组(N=14)。所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠组在前8周以每日3次、每次100毫克的剂量,持续每日口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠(每日共服用300毫克的戊聚糖多硫酸钠)。然后,所述剂量在后8周再换为每日2次、每次100毫克(每日共服用200毫克的戊聚糖多硫酸钠)。戊聚糖多硫酸钠可以在饭前1小时或饭后2小时服用。在本试验的试验期间禁止任何形式的泌尿道感染预防或治疗方式,包括抗生素、膀胱灌注透明质酸、蔓越莓、非类固醇抗发炎药物或类固醇药物。在所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠组中有一病患在随机分组后立刻中途退出,该病患并未接受任何戊聚糖多硫酸钠疗程。所述控制组未服用任何安慰剂。这二组的病患每4周接受1次访视,自第0周(第2次访视)、第4周(第3次访视)、第8周(第4次访视)、第12周(第5次访视)至第16周(第6次访视),而第6次访视则标记为本试验的终点。
在每次访视中,病患需对研究者报告泌尿道相关症状。泌尿道感染的诊断是基于病患所呈报的症状(解尿疼痛、尿频、尿急、耻骨上方/膀胱疼痛(suprapublic pain)、夜尿症或血尿)和尿液检查结果(白血球:>5/HPF、亚硝酸盐阳性或白血球脂解酶(leukocyteesterase)阳性)。对具有上述其中一症状且尿液检查结果呈现阳性的病患进行尿液细菌培养,以确诊泌尿道感染。在第16周(第6次访视,本试验终点)时对没有复发泌尿道感染的病患进行额外的尿液培养。每次访视时也会纪录和不良事件有关的信息,包括其严重程度(根据美国国家癌症研究中心常见不良事件评价标准(National Cancer Institute CommonTerminology Criteria for Adverse Events)第5版)、发生时间以及研究者评估该不良事件与药品的关联性。由于戊聚糖多硫酸钠具有弱抗凝血效果,在第1、第4和第6次访视须执行全血计数、肝功能测试、凝血酶原时间/国际标准化比值(prothrombin time/international normalized ratio(PT/INR))和活化部分凝血激酶时间(activatedpartial thromboplastin time;aPTT)。
为了分析本试验的结果,使用MedCalc Statistical Software(ver19.0.3)执行所有统计学分析。Mann-Whitney U检定和司徒顿t-检定(Student’s t-test)分别被用来比较中位数和平均值。使用卡方检定(chi-square test)和费雪精准检定(Fisher’s exacttest)进行比较且建构列联表(Contingency table)。使用Kaplan-Meier法建构存活曲线。使用一对数秩检定(log-rank test)和Cox比例风险模型(Cox proportional hazardmodel)以比较每组之间无复发泌尿道感染的存活时间。所有的检定皆为双尾(2-tailed)。当P值<0.05时,则统计结果可视为显著。
本试验的一期主要终点为无复发泌尿道感染。在本试验中,没有任何戊聚糖多硫酸钠组的病患具有下泌尿道症状或尿液细菌培养呈现阳性,因此在戊聚糖多硫酸钠组中没有任何病患复发泌尿道感染。相反地,控制组的14位病患中有9位(约为64%)复发泌尿道感染。表1提供了本试验中病患的人口统计叙述和泌尿道感染复发的结果。

根据先前研究,口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠的常见不良反应包括恶心(1.4%-7.9%)、腹泻(1–14.9%)、头痛(1–2.9%)、红疹(3%)、消化不良(2%)、下腹部疼痛(2%)、肝功能异常(1–2%)、头晕(1/%)和直肠出血(4%)。然而,没有在本试验中的戊聚糖多硫酸钠组中观察到任何前述不良反应。所有病患的全血计数、肝功能测试和凝血功能相关测试皆显示为没有任何异常。
图9为根据本发明一实施例,用来表示本试验在控制组和戊聚糖多硫酸钠组中的26位病患的泌尿道感染无复发存活率的Kaplan-Meier生存曲线。从图9中可以得知在戊聚糖多硫酸钠组中所有的泌尿道感染无复发存活率显著地高于控制组(对数秩检定log-ranktest p=0.0004)。在本试验中,戊聚糖多硫酸钠组高于预期的临床试验疗效,使本试验提早终结,且不再让更多病患参与。根据本试验,在人类个体中口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠已被证实于预防反复性泌尿道感染上具有优异的保护效果。
实例3:大鼠个体口服低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠预防泌尿道感染的疗效
本实例的目的,为在大鼠泌尿道感染动物模式中,研究大鼠口服一降低剂量的戊聚糖多硫酸钠在预防泌尿道感染上的疗效。SD大鼠随机编组为一控制组(N=7)、一泌尿道感染动物模式组(N=10)、一正常剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组(N=10)以及一降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组(N=5)。所述泌尿道感染动物模式组、正常剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组以及降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组在第1日就被UPEC感染。在本试验中为使大鼠感染而灌注UPEC的方法和灌注量与实例1中的方法和量相同。所述正常剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组自第-14日到第0日每日口服30毫克/公斤/天的戊聚糖多硫酸钠,所述降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组自第-14日到第0日每日口服8.5毫克/公斤/天的戊聚糖多硫酸钠,而所述泌尿道感染动物模式组不给予戊聚糖多硫酸钠。所述控制组不被UPEC感染也未给予戊聚糖多硫酸钠。使用实例1中所叙述的方法和工具,在第0、3和7日取得大鼠的尿液和血液样本。所取得的尿液样本再稀释10、102、103、104和105倍,且稀释过的尿液样本再于BSA培养皿上,于37℃中培育12小时。培育后则在BSA培养皿上计数UPEC菌落。在图10和11中,所述泌尿道感染动物模式组被标记为“UTI”、所述正常剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组被标记为“UROpre”而所述降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组则被标记为“low UROpre”。
图10为符合本发明的一实施例中,比较所述控制组、所述正常剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组、所述降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组以及所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的尿液细菌计数的一条形图。在low UROpre组中的尿液细菌计数结果和UROpre组中的尿液细菌计数结果相似,在第3日时此二组中的尿液细菌计数结果低于所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的尿液细菌计数。
图11为符合本发明的一实施例中,比较所述控制组、所述正常剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组、所述降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组以及所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的外围血白血球计数的一条形图。所述白血球计数反映了当下该次的泌尿道感染,所述白血球计数百分比可为比较感染前和感染后的白血球计数的一相对指标。在图11中的白血球计数是用于验证在大鼠泌尿道感染动物模式中降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠的疗效。在图11中,在第0日时所述控制组、所述降低剂量戊聚糖多硫酸钠组以及所述泌尿道感染动物模式组的白血球计数被设定为100%。在第1日时,上述3组的白血球计数百分比上升,反映了感染后有更多白血球进入周边血中。在第3日时,low UROpre组的白血球计数大约为120%,而泌尿道感染动物模式组的白血球计数百分比大约为130%。此展示出在low UROpre组中的UPEC感染于第3日时已经有效获得控制。在第7日时,low UROpre组的白血球计数百分比大约为60%,其显著的低于泌尿道感染动物模式组的白血球计数百分比。
总而言之,在本实例中所使用的8.5毫克/公斤/日的口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量,其低于实例1中戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量的1/3,就能在大鼠泌尿道感染动物模式中发挥疗效。所述8.5毫克/公斤/日的戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量的疗效和所述30毫克/公斤/日的戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量的疗效相似。
根据本发明的多个实施例,前述实例已经展示了在大鼠和人类个体中,口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠的有效治疗剂量。为了要控制泌尿道致病性大肠杆菌的感染、必须要使大鼠在感染前持续服用14天的戊聚糖多硫酸钠。
基于体重和身体表面积,所述戊聚糖多硫酸钠在大鼠中的有效治疗剂量可以被转换为用于人类个体的相等剂量。根据Nair,A.B.和Jacob S.所发表的文献(Nair,A.B.,&Jacob,S.(2016).A simple practice guide for dose conversion between animalsand human.Journal of basic and clinical pharmacy,7(2),27.),人类个体的戊聚糖多硫酸钠的有效治疗剂量被除以一转换常数0.162可被转换为用于大鼠的剂量,或用于大鼠的剂量被乘以0.162后可被转换为用于人类个体的剂量。见表2中更详尽的人类个体和大鼠之间的剂量转换表。

根据表2和本发明的一个或多个实施例,戊聚糖多硫酸钠的有效治疗剂量就算低于5毫克/公斤/日也能在预防人类个体的反复性泌尿道感染上展现足够的疗效。在实例2中,用于人类个体的戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量低于5毫克/公斤/日,或服用总剂量为300毫克(人类女性个体的参考体重为60公斤)的戊聚糖多硫酸钠已被证实具有疗效。在该试验后8周中服用大约为3.34毫克/公斤/日的一降低剂量的戊聚糖多硫酸钠,或服用总剂量为每日200毫克的戊聚糖多硫酸钠已被证实也具有疗效。更进一步地,实例3已证实了对大鼠持续给予14天更低的戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量:8.5毫克/公斤/日,在预防泌尿道感染时具有和30毫克/公斤/日的戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量相似的疗效。根据表2,用于大鼠的8.5毫克/公斤/日的剂量相当于用于人类个体的1.38毫克/公斤/日的剂量,而用于大鼠的30毫克/公斤/日的剂量相当于用于人类个体的4.86毫克/公斤/日的剂量。这代表了用于人类个体的戊聚糖多硫酸钠剂量若为1.38毫克/公斤/日,应也具备预防反复性泌尿道感染的疗效,且能将戊聚糖多硫酸钠的不良反应降到最低。
一降低剂量的戊聚糖多硫酸钠代表较高的临床依从性,因为这代表相较于正常剂量来说,病患将会服用较少颗药丸,且增进了病患服用戊聚糖多硫酸钠的意愿。因此,对于有泌尿道感染病史的病患来说,用于预防反复性泌尿道感染的一种持续性且长期的给药剂量方案将是可行的。

Claims (1)
1.一种戊聚糖多硫酸钠用于制备预防未显示出下泌尿道症状的女性个体中反复性泌尿道感染的药物的应用,包括用于口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠的有效治疗剂量,其特征在于,
用于口服戊聚糖多硫酸钠的所述有效治疗剂量为3.34-5毫克/公斤/日。
