Description
The present invention relates to a panel for a formwork of vertical castings (vertical castings).
At present, formwork systems for vertical castings are generally constituted by modular panels, coupled in a mirror-symmetrical manner and fixed to each other by using tension members which are in turn locked to the outer surface of the panels by suitable means.
The locking device and the tension member are coupled such that the tension member, which is a threaded rod, is compatible with the device, which in turn is provided with a threaded hole through which the threaded rod is slid to a predetermined extension (extension).
During the pouring step, the concrete applies a thrust force to the walls of the formwork, which thrust force is balanced in the formwork system by the steel tensile members.
A locking device resists movement of the template along the tensile member.
Typically, the panels of the formwork for the vertical casting comprise a steel frame made up of columns and cross-members forming a quadrilateral (typically rectangular) outer perimeter.
A plane, usually made of wood, is associated with one side of the frame and its outer peripheral edge substantially corresponds to the outer peripheral edge of the frame, which forms the boundary surface of the casting.
Each post is provided with a through hole formed in a direction perpendicular to the post and the planar surface.
These apertures are designed to locate tensile members for retaining the template system, and the number of tensile members varies depending on the application.
These columns also have lateral holes in a direction parallel to the surface formed by the planes, designed for optional accessories for the connection between the panels, such as threaded pins and/or bolts and/or for retaining tensile members and/or others.
Such frames are typically reinforced by the use of cross members between the columns.
These cross members are suitably perforated to allow positioning and connection of other accessories of the system, such as reinforcing beams and/or alignment tubes and/or clamps and/or others.
In turn, in the configuration for use, these cross members are interconnected, for example in the upper and lower portions of the panel, with vertical profiles suitably perforated.
The plane of the timber is typically attached to the frame with a plurality of screws and/or bolts and/or other hardware.
This known method has some disadvantages.
During the steps of dismantling and disassembling the formwork system, directly following the concrete pouring and hardening steps, many panels have the drawback of requiring a large number of operations, which are delicate, long-lasting and laborious, due to the shape of the panels.
In fact, the quadrangular shape of the panels, in particular the sharp-edged shape at their corners, generates pressure concentrations in these areas during the pouring step.
This concentration of pressure tends to hinder the removal of the panel during the system disassembly step.
Another drawback is that these panels of the formwork systems of known type are difficult to handle in a manual step, since they have a considerable weight and are not provided with gripping elements.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a panel for a formwork for a vertical casting which can improve upon the background art in one or more of the above aspects.
Within this aim, an object of the present invention is to provide a panel for a formwork for vertical pourers which allows easy and quick removal after the concrete pouring and hardening steps.
Another object of the invention is to provide a panel for a formwork for vertical castings which allows easy manual operation.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a panel for a formwork for vertical casting which is highly reliable, relatively easy to provide and at competitive costs.
This aim and these and other objects, which will become better apparent hereinafter, are achieved by a panel for a formwork for vertical castings, comprising:
-a frame for supporting a plane, the frame comprising two end posts and two end cross members extending between the two end posts,
-said plane associated with a first portion of said frame, said plane facing towards the inside of said formwork,
the frame forming a quadrilateral outer perimeter boundary of the panel, the plane having an outer perimeter boundary substantially coincident with the outer perimeter boundary of the frame,
the panel is characterized in that it has at least some only partially sharp edges at the corners of the perimeter boundary.
Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become more apparent from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of a panel of a formwork for vertical casting according to the invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
fig. 1a and 1b are two different general perspective views of a panel of a formwork for vertical casting according to the invention;
FIG. 2a is a general perspective view of a stencil panel during an application step;
FIG. 2b is a general front view of the application step of FIG. 2 a;
fig. 3 is a detail view of a panel of a formwork for vertical casting according to the present invention.
Referring to the drawings, a panel of a formwork for a vertical casting according to the present invention is generally indicated by reference numeral 10.
The panel 10 includes:
-a frame 11 for supporting the frame,
a plane 12.
The frame 11 is preferably made of a metallic material, such as for example steel, and is a support for the plane 12.
The plane 12 is preferably, but not exclusively, made of wood.
By means of fixing elements, not shown in the figures, a plane 12 is associated with the first portion of the frame 11, the plane 12 being directed towards the inside of the formwork (also not shown in the figures).
The frame 11 comprises two end posts 13a, 13b and two end cross members 14a, 14b between the two end posts 13a, 13b, the two end posts 13a, 13b and the two end cross members 14a, 14b forming a quadrilateral outer perimeter boundary, which is the boundary of the panel 10.
In particular, the plane 12 is provided with an outer perimeter substantially coinciding with the outer perimeter of the frame 11.
One of the characteristics of the present invention consists in the fact that the panel 10 has only partially sharp edges 16 at the corners 15 of the perimeter boundary of the panel 10.
In the present description, the expression "edge" is understood to mean the intersection between the end pillars 13a, 13b and the end cross members 14a, 14b in the thickness direction of the panel 10 and towards the outside of the panel 10.
In the present description, the expression "sharp edge" is understood to mean an edge having a transition radius (blending radius) of less than 2.5 mm.
In this specification, the expression "only partially sharp edge" is understood to mean that the edge of the panel is a sharp edge along only a portion of the length of the edge, and thus only for a portion of the thickness of the panel 10.
In particular, these only partially sharp edges 16 comprise, at a second portion of the frame 11 opposite said first portion and therefore opposite the portion affected by casting, a stepped recess 17.
The recess 17 extends between the end posts 13a, 13b and the end cross members 14a, 14b of the frame 11.
In particular, said recess 17 extends within the overall dimensions of the panel 10 so as not to protrude from the perimeter boundaries of the panel 10 or the thickness of the panel 10.
The thickness of the panel 10 is defined as the extension of the panel in a direction at right angles to the surface of the plane 12 facing the inside of the formwork.
The recess 17 allows the tool to be partially inserted at the base of the panel 10, between the peripheral edge of the panel 10 and the ground on which the panel 10 rests and/or another panel 10.
This allows the panel 10 to be easily removed from the formwork after the concrete has hardened by using the same tool as the lever.
Furthermore, the particular stepped shape of the recess 17 allows to perform vertical and horizontal thrusts and/or vice versa.
Thus, it is possible to use the lever in different directions according to the requirements. It should be noted that this particular shape of the recess 17 is particularly advantageous if two panels 10 are arranged side by side, as shown in fig. 2a and 2b, because the leverage/manoeuvring space created by the combination of two shaped areas 17 arranged side by side is doubled.
The frame 10 includes a plurality of intermediate cross members 18 extending between the end posts 13a, 13b and included between the end cross members 14a, 14 b.
The end posts 13a, 13b are also provided with through holes 19, the through holes 19 having an axis of extension along a direction parallel to the surface formed by the plane 12 and being used for optional accessories for the connection between the panels 10, such as for example threaded grub screws and/or bolts and/or tensile members for retention and/or others.
The end cross members 14a, 14b are provided with through holes 20, the through holes 20 having an axis of extension in a direction parallel to the surface formed by the plane 12 for inserting and connecting other accessories of the formwork system, such as reinforcing beams and/or alignment tubes and/or clamps and/or others.
The intermediate cross member 18 also has a through hole 21 for inserting and connecting other accessories of the formwork system, such as reinforcing beams and/or alignment tubes and/or clamps and/or others.
In the configuration for use, the end cross members 14a, 14b are connected to the middle cross member 18 with a middle post 22 that is suitably perforated, for example in the upper and lower portions of the panel.
Another feature of the invention consists in the presence of one or more profiles 23 with cylindrical extension.
Such a profile 23 advantageously extends between the two intermediate cross members 18.
However, in an embodiment not shown in the figures, the profile 23 may extend between: between the middle cross member and the end cross members, and/or between the end posts and the middle post, and/or between two end posts, and/or between any post and any cross member.
Each profile 23 allows gripping for easy handling of the panel 10 and is arranged at a distance from the plane 12 allowing the passage of a user's hand for easy gripping.
In practice it has been found that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects, providing a panel for formworks for vertical pourers which allows easy and quick removal after the concrete pouring and hardening steps.
The present invention also provides a panel for a formwork for a vertical casting that allows easy manual operation.
Thus, it is contemplated that the present invention may be practiced with many modifications and alterations, all of which are within the scope of the appended claims; all the details may further be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to requirements and to the state of the art, provided they are compatible with the specific use.
