Description

Antibacterial and antiviral alcohol-soluble printing ink containing EGCG and tipping paper prepared from printing ink
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of printing ink, in particular to printing ink for tipping paper and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The tipping paper is used as a part of the filter tip and is in direct contact with the oral cavity of a user, so that the cigarette is inevitably stained with pathogenic bacteria in the production, storage and transmission processes of smokers, and pathogenic bacteria and viruses possibly brought by the cigarette can pollute the outer surface of the tipping paper and cause health damage except for cigarette smoking in the case of storage under the condition of high temperature and humidity and the situation of grabbing the filter tip by unclean hands, and the cigarette is required to be endowed with antibacterial and antiviral functions. For traditional cigarettes, the packaging center of gravity of the last decade always centers on cultural excavation, structural innovation and decorative effect, and the emphasis is on novelty again, and people pay more and more attention to health. The novelty and special attention of traditional cigarette consumers to packaging gradually weaken, and instead, the emphasis is focused on packaging safety and product trust, namely cigarette packaging safety and product quality stability.
Epigallocatechin gallate (hereinafter abbreviated as EGCG) is a main component of green tea polyphenols, is also a main component of green tea catechins, and is a functional component with the highest activity and the highest content in catechins. According to the related reports of domestic research, EGCG can strongly bind to coronavirus S protein (Kd =121 nM) and effectively block the binding of coronavirus S protein and human ACE2 receptor. Meanwhile, the research process finds that the EGCG not only can prevent the mutual combination of the two, but also has the function of promoting the dissociation of the two on the S protein which is combined with the receptor. Meanwhile, the EGCG has the effects of strong antioxidant activity, in-vivo free radical removal, inflammation resistance, tumor resistance, arteriosclerosis resistance, thrombosis resistance and the like, has obvious inhibition and killing effects on pathogenic bacteria and viruses, and has good prospects in the development and application of the EGCG as a high-efficiency natural chemopreventive.
However, because the structure of EGCG contains a large number of active phenolic hydroxyl groups, the EGCG is easily oxidized into o-quinones and biphenol quinone substances by oxygen in the air, and the o-quinones further undergo complex polymerization and condensation reactions due to instability to form flavanols, theaflavins, thearubigin and the like, the stability is poor, the EGCG is easily degraded, the bioavailability is low, and the wide application of the EGCG is greatly influenced. In addition, because EGCG has poor fluidity and certain bitter taste, the EGCG is easy to discolor, stick and the like in shelf life, and is limited in the storage and application processes.
Currently, there are also researchers developing antibacterial tipping papers such as: the invention discloses special antibacterial water-based ink for tipping paper, 201510376321.6, which is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 40 to 70 parts of acrylic resin liquid, 15 to 25 parts of pigment and filler, 5 to 15 parts of ethanol, 5 to 10 parts of deionized water, 1 part of wetting dispersant, 0.1 part of defoamer, 0 to 1 part of flatting agent and 0 to 1.5 parts of antibacterial assistant. The invention has excellent antibacterial and bactericidal performance, low VOC content and extremely low metal content and residue. The invention also discloses environment-friendly antibacterial water-based ink for tipping paper and lining paper for cigarettes and a preparation method thereof, namely 201910092869.6, which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 12-18% of water-soluble resin liquid; 35-45% of solvent; 25-35% of composite antibacterial filler, wherein the composite antibacterial filler comprises nano titanium dioxide, a silver ion antibacterial agent, a chitosan-copper complex and soybean meal; 8-20% of pigment; 0-3% of auxiliary agent. However, no report that EGCG is applied to printing ink to achieve the antibacterial and antiviral functions is found.
