According to the invention, the object (14) is a direct component of the coke oven (2).
Description
The present application is a divisional application of the inventive patent application having an application date of 2014 5, application number 201480031992.2, international application number PCT/DE2014/100189, entitled "system for positioning operating machines of a coke oven battery".
Technical Field
The invention relates to a system for positioning an operating machine which is movable parallel to a coke oven battery in a working position in front of a coke oven, wherein the operating machine has means for position-determining objects associated with the respective coke oven and means for moving into the relevant working position by means of the detection of the objects by the position-determining means.
Background
As objects to be oriented, marking elements are generally used which are arranged in the respective coke oven. The exact positioning of the operating machine by means of such a marking element is only incompletely achieved and requires inspection by an operator, whose presence next to the operating machine is basically only necessary for this reason.
Disclosure of Invention
The aim of the invention is to improve the positioning accuracy and the positioning reliability of the operating machines of a coking group, so that fully automatic operation of the operating machines is possible.
The positioning system according to the invention for this purpose is characterized in that the object is a direct component of the coke oven.
The invention is based on the surprising recognition that, in particular as a result of the temperature effect, a significant change in the positional relationship between the marking elements usually used and the coke oven can occur. The resulting incorrect orientation of the operating machine relative to the coke oven can therefore be such that the operating machine can no longer follow its function without risk of accidents, for example, charging the coke oven with coal cakes. Advantageously, the invention is used for determining the position of objects which have little change in relation to the coke oven and which are therefore not "free-standing" like the marking elements conventionally used.
Although all parts of the coke oven having distinctive lines which produce a distinctive image pattern are considered as objects, the objects are preferably formed by the doors, door frames or/and charging openings of the coke oven.
For example, the object is an edge or edges, optionally vertical edges, of a door, door frame or/and charging opening of a coke oven.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the device for determining the orientation of the object has an electronic camera, and, where appropriate, also an image evaluation device.
The device for moving into the operating position preferably has an adjusting device, which is connected to the image evaluation device.
Optical imaging by the camera may be assisted by means for illuminating the object, such as infrared or/and laser based illumination means. This enables clear, reliably evaluable imaging, independently of the prevailing light conditions. By constraining the optical evaluation to a defined wavelength range (e.g. by corresponding filtering), the evaluation reliability can be further improved.
The device for moving into the operating position can furthermore have a stroke length measuring device.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the image evaluation device is provided for determining a distance a between at least one image point of the object imaged by the camera and a target position fixed in the imaging region of the camera.
An adjusting device connected to the image evaluation device adjusts the determined distance a to a value a of 0 in the range of movement to the operating position.
The adjusting device can furthermore be connected to the stroke length measuring device.
Drawings
The invention is further explained below with the aid of embodiments and the attached figures relating to embodiments.
Shown in the drawings are:
FIG. 1 is a top plan view of a coke oven battery including a positioning system according to the present invention;
FIG. 2 is a detailed view of the coke oven battery of FIG. 1;
fig. 3 is a view explaining the working principle of the system according to the invention; and
fig. 4 illustrates a block diagram of a system according to the invention.
Detailed Description
The coke oven battery 1 has a plurality of coke ovens 2 aligned with one another on its long sides. The coal cake can be introduced into the individual coke ovens through the charging opening 3. Discharge openings 4 on the opposite end allow the release of the finished coke.
On rails 5 and 6, which extend parallel to the coke oven battery 1, the operating machine 7 can be moved into the respective operating position in front of the respective coke oven 2. All the necessary operating functions in the coke oven battery are taken into account for such operating machines, for example charging of the coke ovens 2 with coal cakes or/and discharging of the finished coke from the coke ovens through the discharge opening 4.
For example, the introduction of a coal cake into one of the coke ovens 2 or the discharge of the finished coke (in this case the operating machine 7 introduces a ram into the associated oven 2) requires a very precise positioning of the operating machine 7 in the direction of movement according to the arrow 8 parallel to the oven battery 1.
The exact positioning of the operating machine 7 is necessary in the case described as an example, mainly because both the coal cake and the ram fill the respective coke oven 2 to the greatest extent over the width of the coke oven. The manipulation of the oven door by the operating machine during opening and closing also does not allow large tolerances of its working position.
In particular, it is to be taken into account that, in the operating position, for example, the axis 9 of the operating machine 7 coincides in plan view with the center axis of the coal cake conveyed by the operating machine 7 and is oriented in plan view toward the central longitudinal axis 10 of the respective coke oven 2.
As is apparent from fig. 2, an electronic camera 11 is mounted on the operating machine 7. The camera 11 detects a target region 12, the spatial arrangement of which with respect to the axis 9 is also fixed over a long operating time interval.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the camera 11 images the region 13 shown in fig. 3, into which the right-hand edge or the left-hand edge 14 of the door or the charging opening of one of the coke ovens 2 facing the camera falls in each case according to the travel position of the operating machine 7. For reasons of simplicity and clarity, this edge is also only shown as the only image element in fig. 3. When the operating machine 7 assumes its exact operating position in front of one of the coke ovens 2, the imaged edge 14 in the image area 13 coincides with the target position determined in the image area 13, which is indicated by a dashed line 15.
According to fig. 4, an image evaluation device 16 connected to the camera determines the respective distance a between the position of the edge 14 in the image area 13 and the target position according to the dashed line 15. The adjusting device 17 connected to the control device of the travel drive is used to move the operating machine 7 such that, when moved into the operating position, the distance a is adjusted to the value zero, taking into account a predetermined tolerance value. The operating machine 7 then assumes its exact operating position in front of the coke oven, irrespective of positional fluctuations in the region of the door or charging opening of the coke oven 2 concerned.
When the camera detects the two vertical edges of the door or the charging opening and places them in overlap with the target position, respectively, a still more accurate positioning of the operating machine 7 can be achieved, independent of the width variation of the charging opening 3 or the charging door. A stroke length measuring device 18, which is indicated by a dashed line in fig. 4, detects the stroke passing in between and an adjusting device 17 then adjusts the position of the operating machine 7 to half the stroke length.
Of course, the remaining stroke length until the working position is reached can also be determined continuously in the optical evaluation range. This makes it possible to suitably reduce the travel speed of the operating machine in response to the approach to the working position and to carry out the approach process in a time-optimized manner.
Furthermore, the stroke length measuring device 18 is used for coarse positioning of the operating machine 7 until the previously described optical device for more precise positioning is activated.
The image evaluation device 16 can furthermore be used to recognize alphanumeric characters installed on the coke oven 2 and detected by the camera. In this way it can be finally checked whether the orientation performed by the operating machine 7 actually takes place in front of the desired coke oven 2.
