The invention has the beneficial effects that:

the driving motor 105 is started, the output shaft of the driving motor 105 drives the belt pulleys 104 to rotate, the belt pulleys 104 rotate in the same direction through a belt, the belt pulleys 104 drive the movable wheel 102 to rotate coaxially, further, the whole gantry crane is driven to move integrally, the cross beam 300 is adjusted to be above the container, then, the movable trolley 400 moves to be right above the container, the jacking cylinder 203 drives the jacking block 204 to descend, the jacking block 204 drives the cross beam 300 to descend through the lifting plate 205, the cross beam 300 drives the movable trolley 400 to descend, the output shaft of the rotary cylinder 502 drives the hanger 503 to rotate, further, the limiting plate 505 on the hanger 503 is adjusted to be parallel to the side of the container, then, the piston rod of the limiting cylinder 504 pushes the limiting plate 505, the two limiting plates 505 clamp the two sides of the container, then, the output shaft of the adjusting motor 507 drives the ball screw 508 to rotate, and the ball screw 508 drives the two adjusting sleeves 509 to move oppositely, and then drive two grip blocks 510 and remove in opposite directions, two grip blocks 510 carry out the centre gripping to the container both sides, and then jacking cylinder 203 piston rod promotes jacking piece 204, lifts by crane the container.
