In a specific experiment, the basic dog food can be a full-value dog food in the prior art, and only basic nutritional ingredients are needed, for example, the percentage of the nutritional ingredients of the full-value dog food preferably adopts the following indexes, which are shown in table a:
TABLE A basic dog food Nutrition index
Figure BDA0003152130020000091
If the full-value dog food with different nutrient component ratios is adopted, the protein content of the adopted full-value dog food is ensured to be more than or equal to 25 percent.
(3) The dogs are treated in groups, and the dogs are randomly divided into a group A, a group B and a group C according to the basic principle that genetic strains are consistent and the ages and weights are similar and the basic principle that the dogs are half female and half male, wherein the total number of the dogs is 3, and each group is 5.
(4) During the experiment, the group A is a blank control group and is fed with basic dog food; the group B and the group C are experimental control groups, the group B is fed with basic dog food and 1% of dog food additive, and the group C is fed with the basic dog food and 1.5% of dog food additive.
(5) During the experiment, the feeding conditions of the group A, the group B and the group C are consistent, the feeding is carried out twice every day, and the feeding is carried out at 9 hours and 16 hours respectively, and water is freely drunk.
(6) The duration of the experiment was 1 month.
On the day of experiment completion, 15 poodle dogs are respectively subjected to fasting blood sampling and serum biochemical index determination, and the test results are as follows:
TABLE 1 Biochemical indices of sera of dogs in each group
Figure BDA0003152130020000101
TABLE 2 index of antioxidant function of each group of dogs
Figure BDA0003152130020000102
As can be seen from table 1: compared with the group A, the total protein, albumin, globulin and white ball ratios of the group B are respectively improved by 14.07 percent, 11.15 percent, 17.97 percent and-6.15 percent, and the total protein, albumin, globulin and white ball ratios of the group C are respectively improved by 13.80 percent, 10.28 percent, 18.51 percent and-6.32 percent; and urea nitrogen was reduced by 5.71% and 7.00% in groups B and C, respectively, alkaline phosphatase was reduced by 1.04% in group B and increased by 0.11% in group C, relative to group a.
It should be noted that the normal serum indices for dogs are: 50-71g/L of total protein, 24-38g/L of albumin, 20-150U/L of alkaline phosphatase and 3.6-8.9mmol/L of urea nitrogen. As can be seen from Table 1, the serum index of all dogs in the experiment is within the normal range, which indicates that the additive of the Chinese medicinal composition used in the experiment is relatively safe for dogs.
Wherein, the total serum protein refers to the sum of albumin and globulin in the serum, which is one of important indexes reflecting nutrition and immunity of the organism, and the increase of the globulin content also reflects the immunity improvement of the organism of the pet on the side. The urea nitrogen in the serum is one of the main indexes reflecting the utilization rate of protein in food, the rising and the lowering of the urea nitrogen level respectively represent the decomposition and synthesis deposition degree of protein, the urea nitrogen content and the utilization rate of the protein are in obvious negative correlation, and in the normal range, the proper lowering of the urea nitrogen content shows that the nitrogen deposition in the animal organism is increased, and the utilization rate of the organism to the protein is enhanced.
Therefore, the dog food additive disclosed by the invention has the effects of resisting viruses, improving the immunity and the like, and has the effects of improving the utilization rate of dog food protein and promoting the nitrogen deposition of a dog organism.
As can be seen from table 2: compared with the A group, the activity of superoxide dismutase in the serum of the dogs in the B group and the dogs in the C group is respectively improved by 8.26 percent and 13.77 percent; the content of malonaldehyde is respectively reduced by 29.09 percent and 37.28 percent; in contrast, the superoxide dismutase activity was significantly increased in both group B and group C, while the malondialdehyde content was significantly decreased.
It is worth to say that superoxide dismutase is one of the main indexes of the antioxidant capacity of the reaction organism, malondialdehyde is the final product of lipid peroxidation caused by the attack of polyunsaturated fatty acid in a biological membrane by free radicals, the activity of the malondialdehyde reflects the peroxidation degree of lipid and indirectly reflects the antioxidant level of the organism,
therefore, the dog food additive can obviously improve the oxidation resistance of the pet dog body.
In addition, in the experimental process, the softness and the color of the fur of each group of dogs are evaluated respectively;
wherein, the softness is comprehensively judged according to the consistency of the appearance direction and the hand feeling of the quilt wool; the gross color is measured and judged by a color difference meter (LS 170 color difference meter on forest); the softness is measured by taking the full score as 10, and the higher the softness, the higher the score; smaller chroma values indicate darker color, i.e., better quilt shade.

From table 3, it can be seen that, before and after the test, there was no significant change in softness and chroma of the hair for the dogs in group a, while for the dogs in group B, softness was increased by 63.94% and chroma was decreased by 13.22% compared to the pre-test condition; for group C dogs, the softness was increased by 40.99% and the color was reduced by 14.69% compared to the pre-test level.
Therefore, the dog food additive has obvious improvement effect on the smoothness and chromaticity of dog hair, and the effect is more obvious when the food is added to 1.0%.
Experiment two
(1) 10 brown poodle dogs which are healthy adults and have been trained by the aptitude skills and have rich experience are selected, a single-cage feeding mode is adopted, and daily maintenance such as epidemic prevention, dog house disinfection and the like is carried out according to a conventional epidemic prevention program.
Here, the adult brown poodle is more suitable for palatability experiments, and is common knowledge of those skilled in the art, so the young brown poodle in experiment one is not used as the palatability experiment object in experiment two based on better identifying the palatability of the product of the invention.
(2) Insect expelling is carried out on the dog house before the experiment, the dog house is raised before the experiment, basic dog food is fed in the pre-feeding period, the pre-feeding period is 3 days, the feeding is carried out twice every day, the feeding is respectively carried out for 9 hours and 16 hours, and each dog in the pre-feeding period can drink water freely.
The basic dog food in the experiment I is prepared from the same components.
(3) Group A dog food, group B dog food and group C dog food are prepared according to the preparation method, wherein the group A dog food is basic dog food, the group B dog food is basic dog food plus 1% of dog food additive, and the group C dog food is basic dog food plus 1.5% of dog food additive. In specific implementation, the group A dog food is a blank group, and the group B and the group C are control groups which are subjected to control experiments with the group A dog food.
(4) The experiment is a palatability experiment, which adopts a double-pot palatability experiment method:
a. and placing a special double basin for the pet palatability test in the corresponding dog house of each dog so as to respectively place dog foods with different components. Of course, the different components referred to herein refer to the different proportions of the ingredients of the dog food additive in the base dog food.
b. Carrying out a double-basin palatability experiment on each dog after the pre-feeding period is ended, wherein the period is 4 days, and placing dog foods of group A and dog foods of group B in the two side feeding basins respectively during the experiment period;
c. after the control experiment in the step b of each dog is finished, entering a pre-feeding period of 3 days, and performing a group of double-basin palatability experiments of 4 days after the pre-feeding period is finished, wherein during the experiment, A groups of dog foods and C groups of dog foods are respectively placed in the two side basins;
d. in the step b and the step c, the daily feeding mode and the feeding time of each dog are kept consistent with the pre-feeding period; during each experiment period, feeding time of each dog for each meal lasts 30 minutes, the using amount of dog food placed in each side feeding basin is 70g (140 g in total for double basins), the remaining amount of the dog food in each feeding basin is respectively weighed after feeding is finished, so that the feed intake of each dog for each group of dog food is calculated, and meanwhile, the preference of each dog for each group of dog food is calculated;
e. each food basin needs to be cleaned before feeding every time, sufficient drinking water is kept to be provided for the dog, the placing directions of the two food basins are changed according to the sequence of forward-reverse-forward in different times of feeding, and the used experimental dog food cannot be reused.
The experimental results are as follows:
TABLE 4 feed intake, feed intake rate and selection rate of dogs in each group
Figure BDA0003152130020000131
Note: when the feed intake of one food basin dog (X) exceeds the feed intake of another food basin dog by 20%, the food is regarded as the selection X. Where X ═ a or B or C, for example, in a particular experiment, one food ration for a potted dog X ═ B and another food ration for a potted dog X ═ a, or one food ration for a potted dog X ═ C and another food ration for a potted dog X ═ a.
From table 4, it can be seen that, when the additive is added to the dog food at a ratio of 1%, the feed intake, feed intake rate and selection rate of the dog food are significantly superior to those of the control group of the basic dog food, which indicates that the palatability is better than that of the basic dog food at a ratio of 1%, and the palatability is significantly reduced when the additive is added to the dog food at a ratio of 1.5%.
