Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of traditional Chinese medicines, in particular to a cold compress gel for treating insomnia.
Background
Insomnia is a type of condition characterized by the frequent inability to attain normal sleep. It is mainly manifested as difficulty in falling asleep, low depth of sleep, waking up when asleep, sleeping without snoring, no longer sleeping after waking up or sleepless all night. These manifestations ultimately lead to insufficient sleep time, failure to eliminate fatigue, and failure to restore physical and energy to the body. In the long run, it often obstructs the normal life, work, study and health of people, and can induce or aggravate palpitation, shortness of breath, chest distress, dizziness, headache, mental fatigue, amnesia, etc. Severe patients may develop symptoms such as increased heart rate, increased body temperature, and peripheral vasoconstriction. Insomnia is easy to cause fatigue, increase the disease probability, easily cause obesity, damage the appearance, destroy the emotion and cause rapid aging; and generally classified into stress type insomnia, anxiety type insomnia, depression type insomnia, bad taste type insomnia, drug type insomnia, physiological type insomnia, insomnia fear type and other disease type insomnia.
The existing methods for treating insomnia or treating insomnia in a nominal mode comprise the following steps: the sleeping western medicine can directly block various external stimuli and impulses from being transmitted to the nerve centre of the brain, and inhibit the nerve centre from causing similar sleep fluctuation to promote people to fall asleep; but has great side effects, causes headache, dizziness and nausea discomfort after long-term use, and has unstable safety. Most insomnia people are caused by mental problems such as anxiety, depression, dysphoria and the like, 15 percent of the insomnia people are caused by coronary heart disease and other medicinal components, the real primary insomnia accounts for only 15 percent of the insomnia people, and the insomnia treatment is absolutely not a problem which can be solved by a plurality of hypnotics. The sedative western medicine is sedative and calm, has the same property with the hypnotic western medicine, has different degrees, and has more stable sedative effect relative to the hypnotic medicine; however, the individual constitutions show symptoms such as excitement, multilingual sensation and hallucinations, and even more serious insomnia with drugs. Melatonin health care products supplement melatonin lacking in the body by oral administration, and can promote the generation of sleep for primary insomnia and frequent pace; but has obvious effect on treating insomnia caused by other problems except primary insomnia. Forcibly changing the hormone level of the human body, further causing endocrine dyscrasia, reducing the secretion of sex hormones, and having the risk of male and female infertility. Melatonin is also the chief culprit for winter melancholia. Compared with western medicines, the sedative traditional Chinese medicine has no dependence or addiction, can have a good improvement effect on long-term insomnia and poor sleep, and has a far-seeing effect far superior to that of the western medicines; however, the medicine is three-part toxic compared with western medicines which injure the liver and the kidney, is only slightly less in burden on the liver and the kidney, belongs to a sedative medicine, does not remove insomnia roots, and still belongs to the category of headache doctors and foot doctors. The physical therapy is to improve insomnia by massage, foot bath, cupping, scraping therapy, acupuncture and moxibustion, hot compress, etc.; the medicine is not taken, the liver and the kidney are not damaged, the dependence is not caused, and the traditional Chinese medicine belongs to a natural therapy; however, the massage foot bath only has the adjusting function, and acupuncture, cupping and the like can be operated by professional personnel, so that the massage foot bath is inconvenient for family use, and has poor practicability for people without time. In addition, the traditional foot patch products can eliminate dampness and relieve foot fatigue; the traditional Chinese medicine mainly comprises bamboo vinegar, is alleged to improve insomnia, has no effect on basic failure, mostly adopts no antiallergic material, and can cause skin discomfort problems such as pimple and pruritus of people with sensitive skin.
At present, the medicines for treating insomnia comprise traditional Chinese medicines and western medicines, wherein the medicines which are commonly used and can quickly take effect are sleeping medicines in the western medicines. After long-term use of the hypnotic, not only can the dependence on the hypnotic be formed, but also various iatrogenic diseases such as damage to the liver and the kidney can be caused; impairment of the function of the digestive tract, etc., and side effects thereof are well known.
