Abstract
The invention provides a display expansion connection method and a device, and the technical scheme of the method comprises an output pin configuration step, wherein an output power supply pin is arranged in a display output interface of equipment to be expanded so as to supply power for display equipment; an input pin configuration step, namely setting an input power supply pin in a display input interface of display equipment to receive power supply of the equipment to be expanded; and a display signal transmission step, wherein the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment are connected through a display expansion line so as to transmit power and signals. The invention solves the problem that the existing display expansion connection technology can not realize the simultaneous transmission of power and signals in one line.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of display extension, and particularly relates to a display extension connection method and device.
Background
The existing electronic products have the requirement of external expansion display in design, but the existing display schemes (VGA display, HDMI display and DVI display) all need two cables, one power line and one signal line; in terms of convenience in carrying and convenience in use, the two cables are heavy and redundant.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the application provides a display expansion connection method and device, which are used for at least solving the problem that the existing display expansion connection technology cannot realize simultaneous transmission of power and signals in one line.
In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a display extension connection method, including: an output pin configuration step, namely setting an output power supply pin in a display output interface of a device to be expanded so as to supply power for the display device; an input pin configuration step, namely setting an input power supply pin in a display input interface of display equipment to receive power supply of the equipment to be expanded; and a display signal transmission step, wherein the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment are connected through a display expansion line so as to transmit power and signals.
Preferably, the output power supply pin is located at a reserved pin of the display output interface, and the input power supply pin is located at a reserved pin of the display input interface.
Preferably, the display output interface and the display input interface are HDMI interfaces, and the display expansion line is an HDMI line.
Preferably, the display output interface and the display input interface are VGA interfaces, and the display expansion line is a VGA line.
Preferably, the voltage of the output power supply pin is 12V.
In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a display extension connection apparatus, based on the foregoing display extension connection method, including: the display output interface is positioned on a device to be expanded and comprises an output power supply pin for supplying power to the display device; the display input interface is positioned on display equipment, and the display equipment comprises an output power supply pin for receiving the power supply of the equipment to be expanded; and the display expansion line is connected with the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment so as to transmit power and signals.
In some embodiments, the output power pin is located at a reserved pin of the display output interface, and the input power pin is located at a reserved pin of the display input interface.
In some embodiments, the display output interface and the display input interface are HDMI interfaces, and the display expansion line is an HDMI line.
In some embodiments, the display output interface and the display input interface are VGA interfaces, and the display expansion line is a VGA line.
In some of these embodiments, the voltage of the output supply pin is 12V.
Compared with the prior art, the display expansion connection method and the device based on the method have the advantages that the display interface is used innovatively and flexibly, the requirement for expansion display can be met by using a standard display expansion line, a heavy power line is not needed for supplying power to the display, the power line for expansion display is saved, the expansion display is more convenient and faster to carry, and the power line is saved in the cost aspect of the whole machine.

In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application will be described and illustrated below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. fig. 1 is a flowchart of a display expansion connection method according to the present invention, and referring to fig. 1, the display expansion connection method according to the present invention includes the following steps:
s1: an output power supply pin is arranged in a display output interface of a device to be expanded so as to supply power for the display device; optionally, the output power supply pin is located in the reserved pin of the display output interface; optionally, the display output interface is any one of a standard HDMI interface and a standard VGA interface; optionally, the voltage of the output power supply pin is 12V.
In a specific implementation, 12V power is added to the display interface of the device to be expanded, specifically, a reserved pin of the display interface.
In a specific implementation, if the interface is a standard HDMI interface, the reserved pin is the 14 th pin, and if the interface is a standard VGA interface, the reserved pin is the 9 th pin.
In the specific implementation, the backlight panel and the liquid crystal panel of the display device both need to be powered, wherein the power supply of the backlight panel comprises 12V and 5V, and in the specific implementation, for compatibility, 12V voltage is selected; the power supply of the liquid crystal panel comprises 12V, 5V and 3.3V, and in the specific implementation, a 12V power supply is selected for compatibility.
S2: an input power supply pin is arranged in a display input interface of display equipment to receive power supply of the equipment to be expanded; optionally, the input power supply pin is located in a reserved pin of the display input interface; optionally, the display input interface is any one of a standard HDMI interface and a standard VGA interface.
In a specific implementation, 12V power is added to the display input interface of the display device, specifically, at the reserved pin of the display input interface.
In a specific implementation, if the interface is a standard HDMI interface, the reserved pin is the 14 th pin, and if the interface is a standard VGA interface, the reserved pin is the 9 th pin.
S3: connecting the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment through a display expansion line so as to transmit power and signals; optionally, the display expansion line is any one of a standard HDMI line and a standard VGA line.
The embodiment of the application provides a display expansion connecting device based on the display expansion connecting method. As used below, the terms "unit," "module," and the like may implement a combination of software and/or hardware of predetermined functions. Although the means described in the embodiments below are preferably implemented in software, an implementation in hardware or a combination of software and hardware is also possible and contemplated.
Referring to fig. 2, the apparatus includes:
the display output interface 1 is positioned on a device to be expanded, and comprises an output power supply pin for supplying power to the display device; optionally, the output power supply pin is located in the reserved pin of the display output interface; optionally, the display output interface is any one of a standard HDMI interface and a standard VGA interface; optionally, the input voltage of the output power supply pin is 12V.
In a specific implementation, 12V power is added to the display interface of the device to be expanded, specifically, a reserved pin of the display interface.
In a specific implementation, if the interface is a standard HDMI interface, the reserved pin is the 14 th pin, and if the interface is a standard VGA interface, the reserved pin is the 9 th pin.

In a specific implementation, if the interface is a standard HDMI interface, the reserved pin is the 14 th pin, and if the interface is a standard VGA interface, the reserved pin is the 9 th pin.
The display expansion line 2 is connected with the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment so as to transmit power and signals; optionally, the display expansion line is any one of a standard HDMI line and a standard VGA line.
The technical features of the embodiments described above may be arbitrarily combined, and for the sake of brevity, all possible combinations of the technical features in the embodiments described above are not described, but should be considered as being within the scope of the present specification as long as there is no contradiction between the combinations of the technical features.

Claims (10)
1. A display expansion connection method, comprising:
an output pin configuration step, namely setting an output power supply pin in a display output interface of a device to be expanded so as to supply power for the display device;
an input pin configuration step, namely setting an input power supply pin in a display input interface of display equipment to receive power supply of the equipment to be expanded;
and a display signal transmission step, wherein the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment are connected through a display expansion line so as to transmit power and signals.
2. The display extension connection method of claim 1, wherein the output power supply pin is located at a reserved pin of the display output interface, and the input power supply pin is located at a reserved pin of the display input interface.
3. The display extension connection method according to claim 1, wherein the display output interface and the display input interface are HDMI interfaces, and the display extension line is an HDMI line.
4. The display expansion connection method of claim 1, wherein the display output interface and the display input interface are VGA interfaces, and the display expansion line is a VGA line.
5. The display extension connection method of claim 1, wherein the voltage of the output power supply pin is 12V.
6. A display expansion connection apparatus, comprising:
the display output interface is positioned on a device to be expanded and comprises an output power supply pin for supplying power to the display device;
the display input interface is positioned on display equipment, and the display equipment comprises an output power supply pin for receiving the power supply of the equipment to be expanded;
and the display expansion line is connected with the equipment to be expanded and the display equipment so as to transmit power and signals.
7. The display extension connection device of claim 6, wherein the output power supply pin is located at a reserved pin of the display output interface, and the input power supply pin is located at a reserved pin of the display input interface.
8. The display extension connection device of claim 6, wherein the display output interface and the display input interface are HDMI interfaces, and the display extension line is an HDMI line.
9. The display expansion connection device of claim 6, wherein the display output interface and the display input interface are VGA interfaces, and the display expansion line is a VGA line.
10. The display extension connection of claim 6, wherein the voltage of the output power supply pin is 12V.
