The conditions were the same as in example 1 except that the amounts of the components added were changed in accordance with comparative example 1 in Table 1.

The effective component volatilization amount of the traditional Chinese medicine compositions for clearing heat from the throat, which are obtained in the examples 1 to 8 and the comparative examples 1 to 2, is measured, the traditional Chinese medicine compositions for clearing heat from the throat and the throat are heated for the same time under the same conditions, the obtained gas is collected, and the content of the effective component in the gas of each example and the comparative example is measured by a gas-mass spectrometer, so that the table 2 is obtained.
